  1. Why do you say that? I love mine. Lasts me two days at work. Probably more, but I change it just because it seem like I should. I really like 3.7v most of the time, but I reckon with 0 nic you don't get much umph.
  2. Yes, I've heard of people using 7.4 volts, but you have to have an HV atty. Nhaler has both the 4.5 and 5.2 on this page (link below). The 4.5 atty will generate 8 watts at 6v and 12 watts at 7.4v. The 5.2 atty will generate almost 7 watts at 6v and 10.5 watts at 7.4v. The 3.5 atty will generate 10.3 watts at 6V and 15.6 watts at 7.4v (not recommended). I hear that 10 watts is the "sweet spot", but I'm still waiting My 3.5 ohm atty's should be here tomorrow, and hopefully my batteries will be too. So, this is just all theory and hearsay, I don't have any persoanl experience yet. Nhaler HV Atty
  3. I kinda like the way they look.
  4. I've used it on a SB and on my Spade. At 3.7v the atty should be running at a little over 9 watts. At 3.1 it'll be around 6.4, which is close to a regular 510 at 3.7v. Seems to defeat the purpose, but not really sure... That's why I think it would work better on the ego battery, which from what I've been hearing, seems to be right. Anyhow, just my theory.
  5. Yep, Mark often throws in a few freebies. Gotta love that.
  6. Good grief! What type of time frame is that for? Reminds me of the movie "Bruce Almighty" where he sets up an email account to answer prayers.
  7. Pretty much the same experience with the burnt taste. I don't use mine very much, and don't see myself buying any more. I do get a couple of nice hits with good flavor, then I have to vape through the nasty taste (not inhaling) to burn out the leftover juice. If you don't do that, you'll flood it. Your Bro told me about doing that. Seems to work, but to much trouble for me. Do you have any regular ecig batts? I'm thinking this atty would work better on a 3.1v battery like the eGo batts. Here's a vid on cleaning it by burning it out. I've done this, but still get the same results afterwards. I'm thinking about taking the wick out... seems that that would be getting fried too. LR atty clean
  8. The 3 volt 16340's is what would have come with the unit if you got it from Eastmall. It's what they seel with the sleeve if you pick the 6v option. Safe? I have no idea. I actually have some of those... ordered them before I knew much about anything. After I got my SB I figured I'd at least try them to see if I liked 6v, but they don't fit in the SB. I've got some LiFePO4's on the way. If you use the 3.7v batts, you'll most likely want to use the 5.2 ohm HV 510 atty. The 4.5 would probably be okay too, but the 5.2 one would put you at 10 watts.
  9. I think Jeff's taking the "Matrix" thing a little far. He seems to have become ONE with VT.
  10. I thought dietsmokes only used UPS??? Anyhow, sorry you're having such an issue. Wouldn't blame you a bit for throwing in the towel with them. It's a shame, and unacceptable.
  11. Madvapes is awesome, and addictive. I've baught enought stuff from there to make several mods (switches, resistors, LED's, project boxes, flash lights, 5v regulators, etc). Can't seem to control myself. The odd thing is that I've only made one box mod.
  12. It's most likely the adapter. I've heard the adapter from 510 to 901/KR808 are very iffy with KR808 carto's. I have an 801 to 901 adapter for my VP units and it worked pretty good on them as far as air flow goes. The 510 carto's work a lot better for me than the KR's ever did.
  13. I love my SB also. I've been using it for a few weeks now and it's great. The battery lasts about 2 days for me. Haven't used it at 6v yet, but do have some batteries and HV atty's on order. It's not so much the size that bothers me, but the weight. It's heavy, but very durable. If I was an active person, always on the go and carrying an ecig around in my pocket, I'd probably go with something lighter, such as the vaprlife VP2 or Vypr, or the upcomming Joker (5v).
  14. I've been cutting the bottom off of my carts for a long time.
  15. @Chris - that also goes a long way to explain why some suppliers may sell supplies for somewhat lower prices. They haven't yet had to cover the cost of a seized shipment. I'll keep that in mind from now on.
  16. It just baffles me that they can seize hardware. But then again, I'm amazed at how stupid our government is. It's okay to buy a water bong, but not an ecig.
  17. Got my 510 cato's from Vapor Kings today... 3 packs. I think I'm going to have to get yet another "bigger box" for my stuff. I think ddaves got the right idea - I'm going to start buying nicotine just in case. I've probably got enough hardware to last at least a year already. Just need to make sure I have plenty of nic. Heck, a few more atty's won't kill me either.
  18. Ok - so you're putting the empty condom on the battery end. I'm with you. I got some blanks on the way, I think I'll give that a try. I've been ripping the caps out to refill (prefilled cartos) and just using a 510 cart on it.
  19. I got the Rath Rootbeer from ENS and it's just like fusiontech357 described, or worse. I've found that all dark colors are that way (with one exception). I've gotten VG caramel from two different vendors, both crap. The only dark color that was good is Rath Waffle. I got a coffee flavor from a new vendor the other day and when I opened the package and saw that it was very dark in color, I thought "oh, NO". Sure enough... CRAP! It was 30% VG.
  20. You know, I've been thinking about that vid. In China, you can only video what they want you to see. Of course it's going to be immaculate in the vid, but I'm not sure it's a "real" representation of what's going on. I'm a bit skeptical.
  21. Visit madvapes.com. Check out the "how to" forum he has. There are some good instructions on some box mods, and you can ask questions there also. If you already have a drill and soldering iron, you're definatley better off making it yourself (price wise).
  22. I think all atomizers are made in China. When you're talking about a 510, the atty is made in China. Any of the regular 510 starter kits are made in China. If you're looking at an American made battery mod for the 510, the attomizer is still made in China.
  23. Huh? Do you put the 3/4 full condom on the battery end or the mouth piece end?
  24. Glad you like it! I have two Spades and a VP2 and a VP/PT and never had any issues. While I don't see adding a vypr to my collection, I do expect there will be a Joker in my future.
  25. I don't think there's much of a warranty on these due to the nature of the atty. Does it still get hot, or is it dead? I don't use mine much due to the burning of the juice. I've learned that once you get that burning, hot box it a few hits without inhaling to burn out some of the excess juice, then re-drip.
