Are These The Right Battery For The Silver Bullet?
Brian replied to brian1g's topic in Modders Forum
I'm using the Tenergy LiFePO4's (same as Gdub). Been working great for me (been using them for a little over a week). I get 8-10 hours depending on how much I vape it. Tenergy LiFePO4 -
I don't know what you were using before, but a regular Joey 510 battery puts out 3.1 volts under load while a battery mod actually put out at 3.7 volts under load. That helps explain the improved performance. I agree with it helping stay cooler also.

If you try the RN Brandon - let us know your thoughts. I've used a Joye 302 on my VP/PT exclusively since I got it in January. I've tried the 510 on it a couple of times, but always end up back with the 302. It just seems to be the right combination.

As a testament to what Chris said and to how "comfortable" this forum is - this is the first forum I ever joined or used and look at me now. I don't know what I'd do without my vapor or my Vapor Talk.

Nice choice.

Caromizers can be purchased filled or empty (blanks). Unless you can find a prefilled flavor you like, best to buy blanks and fill them yourself.

I'm a madvapes junkie. I have run across a couple of other sites, but neither had the selection that madvapes did.

510 Atomizer Dead After 1 Week
Brian replied to Sivlar's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
Hi Judith! Good to hear from you and glad to see you're still vaping! Seems like I recall Chris saying the VP/PT would be back in stock soon... maybe in the next two weeks. -
I agree with Chris 100%. The 510 atty will give you the best throat hit and vapor whether you use it on a regular battery or a battery mod. I would say that since you're a heavy smoker, you'd be best off with an eGo for battery life. I smoked about 1 1/2 packs a day and did good to get 1.5 hours on a regular battery.

Have you considered buying blank cartos and filling them yourself? You can buy blanks just about anywhere. All you need to do is find some juices you like. Only reason I say this is because you seem very happy with the cartomizer, but this is the second time I've seen you say that cartomizers are hard to find. I don't know where you're looking, but you can get blanks all over the place.

That is one of the complaints I had heard about TW attys in general... sometimes the attys are real hard to draw on. I've heard people say that one time they atty's are fine, and the next time they get those hard to draw ones. I hope nana doesn't see this.

The 510 cartos you ordered are about 2.8 so you're good to go. I think the "premium" cartos is in reference to the new KR808 cartos.

American Lung Association Vs. Electronic Cigarettes

<sigh> I got nothin. -
No need to destroy a box - madvapes sells the contacts.
-
Well that's disappointing. I had been thinking they'd be a good HV alternative, but maybe not.
-
Sorry you've had such a bad experience with them. On the bright side, you can get KR808's just about anywhere.
-
I ordered 3 pack from ENS this morning. On another note, I filled a new carto up this morning with VT TT and it was amazing. Just a reminder that when you start thinking the cartos aren't so good, it's time to open a new one.

Very nice!

Nice reviews! On the Apple Smoke, I thought it was very strong. It took days to get the flavor out of my atty after trying that. Doubtful that I'll using that juice. However, I do like the Hickory smoke juice.

I've heard that the expert atty's are 2.8 ohm, so the watts produced will be a little less then Joye @ 2.2 ohms.
-
Huh? Where did you get LR carto's? I know Drew @ Nhaler is working on HV carto's, but haven't heard of a LR carto. Please, tell more.
-
I've had a couple of poor performing atty's out of the gate, but for the most part I've been pretty lucky. I agree with Chris, if it lasts 4+ weeks, be happy. What brand atty's are you using? Are they Joye, or another brand?
-
They are not meant to last long... usually 3-4 fills. I've got one that's been filled 3 times and is starting to die down a bit, but I only use them when driving so it lasted me quite a while. Brandon has been using them more regularly, so he's better suited to answer. However, you're talking $10 for 5 carto's. For my purposes, they're great.

Glad it went well!

I got my batteries in Saturday and all I can say about 6V is WOW! Just WOW.
