  1. There are some power packs available, but it's been a long time since I've looked at any. Notcigs is working on a eGo sized variable voltage mod that will have a USB PT ability. May be something to keep an eye out for.
  2. Hey Bob - Welcome Back! You may want to check with Luke on using the cinnamon flavor in the J-tank. Unless they've changed the material, the cinnamon will "frost" the inside of the tank.
  3. Madvapes carries those 5V batteries also. http://www.madvapes.com/NiMH-Batteries-and-Chargers_c_238.html I've heard of them being used in the Rough Stack and the Bombshell, pretty sure it would fit the SB also. I considered getting some, but it seems the life isn't that great and there were also some issues around charging the battery, but it was a long time ago that I was reading about them.
  4. I haven't had any problems vaping while sick. I have heard some say that vaping hurt when they were sick, my wife was one of them. You may want to keep your mouth piece or drip tip cleaned more often though so you don't reinfect yourself.
  5. No need to be sorry - I understand your frustration. Do you have any other juice you could try? The juice seems to be the only common factor. You may want to contact the supplier to see if they have any suggestions.
  6. I would keep adding 1-2 drops at a time and trying it out. If you can see the coil turning red that fast, it sounds like it doesn't have enough juice in it. A new (or blown out) atty will take several drops to prime it. As long as you don't hear "gurgling" then it's not flooded. Any chance you got Low Resistance atomizers? If you have a multi-meter, you can check the atty resistance.
  7. I've only used a DC on my Provari a couple of times, but I was able to go up to 4.6V. Any higher and I got an error.
  8. I go through spells of this also. It does help to change up flavors, but there have been times where nothing seemed to taste right or had no taste at all.
  9. Haven't really heard much talk about it. I don't think the 350mah batteries are going to go over well with the heavy vapers.
  10. What eGo kit did you get? I'm assuming they are standard 510 attys, but there are so many kits now I can't be sure. No vapor and a burn tastes sounds like a dry atty. Maybe you're not adding enough juice?
  11. I've been using my Provari for over a year now. I haven't bought a new mod since I got it.
  12. Welcome to Vapor Talk! Glad to have you here.
  13. I believe the Blu has 510 threads, so a 510 atty or cartomizer should work on it. I think they're a little wider than the battery, but there are vids on youtube of people using a 510 on the Blu battery.
  14. What kind of adapter did you get? I safecig is an RN4081, so you'd need an RN4081 to 510 adapter. Is the adapter not making contact with the battery and carto?
  15. Tanks are nice in that you don't have to refill then for a while. One of those tanks you linked holds 6ml and the other holds 3.5ml. One fill on one of those will probably last you a full day (+/- a little). If you're looking to drip then I'd go with a 510 or 306 atty and drip tip.
  16. Welcome to Vapor Talk! Great choice on a kit - you can't go wrong with the eGo! I vape 3-4ml per day. I agree with what Jeff said - I would try to buy several different flavors and not order a large quantity of one flavor until you know what you like. When I first started vaping I order 4 30ml bottls of juice and hated them all. LOL! Taste is subjective and just because something has rave reviews, it doesn't mean you'll like it.
  17. Provari, 2.0ohm Boge carto filled with Dekang Frech Pipe from Forever Vapor.
  18. "The Law" being your wife? LOL! All my stuff is here at my desk.
  19. Lucky for me, I found VaporTalk before I ordered anything. I will say that I only used the 510 for about 2 weeks before getting a mod. LOL! They didn't have eGos then and I sure got tired of charging batteries fast.
  20. Yippie!!! Thanks everyone! It's been an amazing journey and I'm glad it all happened here at VT! Wanted to give an update on my wife. You may recall that she had a difficult time trying to vape, but finally did make the switch in March of this year. After vaping for about 7 months the was able to quit completely! Woot!!! She still keeps an eGo handy just in case, but hasn't used in a several weeks.
  21. Forgot all about the VapeMate from Super-T. http://www.supertmanufacturing.com/id80.html And a cheaper alternative from notcigs. http://www.notcigs.com/products/The-Dripper-.html
  22. Beta testing on the VVPV from Notcigs is promising. Don't know what the release date is going to be, but hopefully soon. http://www.notcigs.com/categories/VVPV-Coming-soon-/
  23. Ah - okay. That's the one you need the extension ring to add on your 18650 cap. I'm with you. How does that battery work, BTW (in the Provari)?
