My son in law used vaping to quit dipping with good results.Once you find a liquid you like it gets easier.

The lower ohms or using higher voltage than 3.9 makes the element get hotter. That makes vapor quicker and more abundant .It also changes the flavor of some liquids .It will cause you use liquid a little faster as you will vaporise more of it quicker so topping off or dripping will be more frequent.I perxonally don't care for it .Deang liquid which I prefer seems to be best vaped at standard resistance at 3.9 volts. It is like liquid flavors a personal preference.Low resistance will also drain your batteries quicker .

Actually starter kits are a good value . A person should have backups for their backups when they decide to commit to vaping. It takes a while for stuff to come in the mail and brick and mortar stores are usually higher priced to cover the overhead. Not that they aren't entitled to whatever they are charging, part of being a successful business person is knowing your cost and what you need to make to achieve your goals. Once you are sure you have on hand what you need then it is time to start experimenting and adding toys. I still keep Boge cartomisers and Joye 306 atomisers on hand as well as an assortment of batteries and clearomisers. I also keep at least a months supply of my favorite liquids on hand as I prefer Dekang and the local vendors only sell domestic which I have found to shorten the life of my atomizing devices. Just enjoy and do what you enjoy regardless of what is hot on the forums.

Yesterday in a moment of insanity or senility, I left to fetch lunch and go banking I forgot my vaping supplies.  When I got to the first corner I felt in my pocket and found ........... nothing.   I a quick fit of panic I headed toward the roundabout to return to get my stash. But as I approached something crossed my mind and that was I really don't need it.  I can go about my business and vape when I finish.  But another thought crossed my mind, and that was that banking isn't a finite timed activity.  I could have to wait a long time before getting waited on.  And then another thought:  This is a great time to see how I feel without vaping at my disposal.  So I went for it.  It turned out quite ok.  I fetched the lunch, went to the bank did my business and they even screwed up my plan as usual.  As I was leaving the cashier shouted over, "Do you want any 1 ringgit notes?"  I said, I'll have to see if there's any extra money at the shop."  So I had to drive to the shop, get money, go back to the bank, get the notes and THEN go home to my vaping stuff.  And you know what?  I mostly forgot that I didn't have my stuff.  It turned out to almost be a non issue.  I didn't even think of buying a dreaded pack, or even really keep reaching for my missing equipment.  I got wrapped up in what I had to do and just got on with it.  It's a great feeling to know that after almost 50 years of two packs a day, I'm really over it.  I have no intention of stopping vaping, because I do really enjoy it, but I think I don't NEED it.  So cool!

That's a new way of describing something I am sure we all have done. For the most part more vapor is the goal except when you are trying to be sneaky. If you don't use it for a while I would guess the coil is getting good and saturated with liquid, then as you vape a while it does not replenish as fast as you are vaporizing it. Not know what you are using it would be hard for anyone to make a suggestion on changing the situation. Another thing that happens is the battery recovers a little during idle times and the first few hits are at a higher voltage. For more vapor use less resistance coils and or higher voltage for less vapor use higher resistance coils and or lower voltage. Those are only options for more advanced or mainstream devices. The convenience store ecigs are pretty much run what you brung.

It could be the coil... it could be the fact that your tank is cracked, broken o-ring, or base is not sealing well.... all of these will cause of failure of vacuum seal, and will allow the juice to leak into the center-tube or onto the battery. "Some" leakage onto the battery contact is normal. you just have to swab off the battery contact any time you remove the tank, and if you get a little gurgle occasionally, hold a tissue under the tank's base and blow gently through the mouthpiece/drip-tip. It will clear the excess drop or two.

Here in Malaysia Chinese New Year is a very big deal. Two days public holiday and every Chinese shop owner closed minimum three days. Lots of shop owners go a full fifteen days closed. This is very annoying to me because you can only buy beer in Chinese shops. Malay shops can't sell alcohol. Because most Chinese people balik kampong (go back home) for the holidays there're not many customers for the Malay shops so many of them take advantage and close too. Bottom line.... Chinese New Year is very inconvenient to me. Also, let me add that many shipments stop before Chinese New Year, so even just before, (like now) many things I want to buy are already out of stock and will be for quite some time after Chinese New Year. My prime example being Chang beer which has already been out of stock for days. I like it because it's very reasonably priced and has slightly higher alcohol than the standard 5 % and is quite drinkable. But alas I'll have to wait a few weeks to re supply. Fortunately I have adequate supplies of vaping equipment and liquids to survive. I'm not sure how the distribution would work during the holiday. I get my supplies from distributor in Sarawak and being in Malaysia doesn't require any customs inspection. The distributor has already gone through the customs routine. (probably bribed some official as that's how it works round these parts)

Back in the day before "mods" became factory production models that are really not modified as much as they are engineered we would modify things to try and create more vapor than a Joye 510,801 or DSE 901 as they only had 85 to 110 mAh batteries and really crappy switches. The black thing is a battery box you can get at Madvapes , Radio Shack or about any electronic supply house. That particular one is made to hold 4 AA batteries . This mod in the pictures allows the 3 14500 batteries to discharge at their maximum discharge rate and the available current is multiplied by 3 so I can get a really good vape at 3.7 volts @ 2.8 ohms for quite a spell. It costed less than $10.00 to build and when it breaks I just salvage the switch and connector and build another one. I like them because they fit in my shirt pocket, can be palmed when stealth vaping and when they are laying out in sight are not real obvious as to what they are.

There is nothing wrong with leaving your tanks (clearomizers) loaded with juice and ready to vape. I'm looking at 14 in my rack right now

Tam is correct on the batteries. I rarely turn mine off unless I know I won't be using it for a long period of time (weeks), or if I'm afraid the button will be pressed in transit (case, jacket pocket, backpack, etc.). As long as the button is not pressed, there is nothing to drain the battery, so leaving them "on" will not drain them. Much like leaving batteries in your flashlight... as long as it is not "in use", there is nothing to drain the battery/batteries.

Leaving a tank attached to a battery while not in use is also fine... but like Tam said, it is a good idea to remove them occasionally (every refill or two) to swab up any drops of juice that leaks through the bottom of the tank's atomizer / air-tube onto the battery contact...

Is there any reason why i can't keep a clearomizer stored with Juice in it for an extended period of time? Also if i am not using one of my batteries do i need to leave it off the clearomizer or can i leave them connected for a period of time while not using?

I take off the clearomizer periodically and dab at the juice in the battery well. A few drops will accumulate there if not used for a while.

Last question. My batteries (EVOD 650) doesn't seem to have an auto cutoff. If i forget to cut it off my pressing it 5x will it hurt it overnight? I assume the auto cutoff is mainly to keep it from accidentally being pressed in my pocket but i wanted to double check.

You're confusing the term "auto cut off" with "shut off". Your battery does have an auto cut off. It's 10 seconds. When you take a deep draw that lasts more than 10 seconds, your battery will automatically cut off the power so it doesn't over heat. You'll see the light in the button flash three times (I think it's either 3 or 5). Pressing the button 5 times in a row will shut your battery off. I rarely turn my batteries off unless I'm storing them in such a way that the button might get pressed accidentally. YMMV.
