  1. Menthol or clove hit harder, you could tell them you are using patches or gum hence the nicotine. There are I beleive other chemicals that a smoker would show that a vaper would not.My company insurance let me have the no tobacco discount ,I explained it was another type of nicotine replacement therapy like the patch or gum and they accepted that.
  2. Oopsie I got it wrong ,Boge has a JKY302 and a JKY302D and ENS is selling the JKY302D which the Boge website says is compatible with the KR808D. http://www.bogetech.com/Cartomizer-E-Cigarette-china/Cartomizer-E-Cigarette-Boge-302D-Disposable-Atomizer-Cartomizer-Electronic-Cigarette-59/ http://www.bogetech.com/Cartomizer-E-Cigarette-china/Cartomizer-E-Cigarette-Cartomizer-Electronic-Cigarette-72/
  3. Try this one http://www.vaporkings.com/NEW-GG-Telescopic-Battery-electronic-cigarette-p/gg-tb.htm
  4. The ones from MV are Bauway not Boge.I am not much of a fan of the Bauway 801 atties I tried, they have the hole in the pot lined up with the hole in the connector and the liquid just runs through them, and they do not have the wick .They just made burnt tasting vapor for me .
  5. ElectroNicStix has a new model to replace the KR808D they call it the JKY 302D and they say it is compatible with DSE 901 /KR808 but when I checked the Bogetech web site they say it is comptible with J0ye 302 DSE 801 "Product Description: BOGE /BG JKY302 Pen style E Cigarette cartomizer is new innovation and design technology from Boge . Atomizer and Cartridge build in together . compatible with original BOGE/BG 302 pen style e cigarette battery. also compatible with KR108, RN4072, DSE801 Battery ." I asked Jason for a clarification and will let you know what I find out.I like the thought of using carto's without adapters.Any one know about these?Boge is where the awesome silver thread 510 carto's come from I am pretty sure.
  6. It depends on what was in your carto's to begin with.If you are not refilling with something close to the original flavor you will end up with something like what you described. You can clean a carto in hot water or Everclear and then change flavors.A carto only has so much life in it and if you have vaped more than 10 ml it probably will never taste very good again.
  7. O,O Holy cow five drops!!!How can they say that equals a pack of analogs ?I drip three drops for five or six drags.I would spend all my time filling those things.
  8. My cereal pops too and it taste good to me.Popping carto's are a good thing.
  9. Yes most all carts and cartos can be refilled. If you change flavors though you should clean the filler to keep the flavor from getting mixed. Some cartridges require a syringe to refill .
  10. I would only clean one if it were new and filled with nasty liquid or if times were tough and it was my last one and I was waiting on the mailman to bring some more.I have found the fibers melt away from the element after a few days and they do not produce very good flavor
  11. I have had comments both good and bad from bystanders.RY4 is nice smelling to most some of the tobacco flavors are not so nice for bystanders apparently.I use Dekang for the most part.
  12. The silver threaded ones are by far the best. You can sling the excess liquid out before using them.I have found after a few days the flavor starts dropping off even though they still make vapor it is time to dump them.I was adding liquid to them to try to get flavor and then I would end up with leakage. The fibers do melt away from the element after a while ,if you take one apart they apear charred but I don't think it is harmful if you keep them wet and dispose of them in a timely fashion.
  13. Looks like they are emulating what we have been doing.Just a carto with a drip tip pressed on.Depends on price whether its worth it.
  14. oopsie for some reason I thought we were talking about LR 306 cartomisers not atties. The drip tips I found for 306's so far are for the atties not the carto's .306 atties are the ones with exposed coils so the atty drip tip won't fit inside a carto. If you find one that will for sure fit the carto's let us know.
  15. I never let mine cool down long enough for anything to grow on.But that is something to consider for folks who keep several carto's or carts loaded.
  16. I found a two cell AA flashlight at Meijers and built a mod to use the 14650's in http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/gallery/image/719-14650-flashlight-mod ,wasn't as easy as a box mod but got it done in a day.The photo has 18650 14650 14500 and 10440 batteries in it for size comparison.
  17. I liked the regular resistance 306 carto's but did not like that I could not find a drip tip or cart to fit them so I didn't have to have metal in my mouth.I ended up cutting the end out of a condom/cover to insulate them so I could use them up.They did vape well .I liked the fact that there was not so much liquid getting wasted when they were done as there is less filler.
  18. Kewl link Brian, saving that for future reference. It is hard to find that kind of info and a lot people who bought before checking the forums are always asking what fits what they bought.
  19. I use an old atty for a handle and just wiggle the connecter out.If the connector comes out of the atty first you can grab it with pliers. You can also use a tubing cutter to cut about a 1/4 inch back .I save all my battery connectors and some atty connectors .I have made box mods and passthoughs with the battery connectors and the atty connectors are good for harvesting battery connectors.I have found that the car cell phone chargers that I get at Goodwill for cheap make nice passthroughs with not much effort. Also keep an eye out for USB mice, keyboards and other things with USB cables for passthroughs.I have cut USB extension cords in half and used half for a passthrough and the other half on a 5 volt power supply from an old router .
  20. Good luck with that ,you don't see many people trading Dulcis.
  21. Even cartos will leak, every once in a while liquid builds up in an atty between the battery connecter and the pot the element is in and you have to blow that out by blowing through both ways into a paper towel. It seems to help if you stand the atty on end at night and let excess liquid drain out overnight. With cartos I have found they tend to stop making flavor but still make vapor when they are at the end of thier life. You keep topping them off to try to get some flavor but end up with a mess.Kind of like getting liquid/condensate in your mouth ,one of the joys of vaping.Kind of like haveing the fire fall off an analog at an inopportune time such as driving down the interstate.
  22. Congrats on post 100.
  23. Sweet.I wonder why no one is selling modded power supplies?I would think there are a lot of people who would grab one up where you could dial in your favorite voltage on your favorite PT.Probably less than $20.00 for everything a person would need for a basic one.Adjustable lab supplies are pretty pricey.
  24. I did basicly the same thing, but I put a variable power regulator/supply in line with a wall wart up to 30 volts. If you keep the volts in close to what you want for volts out you won't need to dissapate so much heat.I use a 5 volt wall wart as I prefer 3.7 to 4 volts and I just use any straight through passthrough.I tried a 12 volt power supply but like you I had a lot heat to get rid of,reducing 5 volts to 4 doesn't produce much heat at all. http://www.adafruit.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=38&products_id=184 is a kit with everything but case and whatever kind of plugs you prefer for $15.00 plus S&H. . All of the protected batteries I have looked at so far will reduce the current .
  25. There is a lot of unidentified stuff in NY I am afraid.I vote for balloons on this one .The spacedudes are way faster than that.
