A mechanical would allow all the the voltage and current the battery has if using an IMR to be available for use. VV or VW circuitry has to use magic to do what you set it to do. Since energy cannot be created or destroyed you cannot possibly get more out of a battery than what it has to offer.Something is giving somewhere.

I just make boxmods with battery boxes from Madvapes .With a Vivi Nova 2.5 it is a little over 5 inches long .Fits in my shirt pocket ,is easy to palm and doesn't look like an ecig if left laying around.I have in mind using a four cell box and recessing the connector into one of the bays to make it shorter but just haven't gotten around to it yet.You could put the cells in series and use the VV board or put them in parallel for longer battery life more current.

Heat would not be a good idea, The idea is to let the funk evaporate out and oxygen to do its work. Pouring the liquid out into a container with more surface area would be a better choice. Light and heat are not your friend when it comes to eliquid. Having said that everyone has their own likes and dislikes .If that works for you then go for it. I personally avoid any liquid that is not ready to go when it arrives. But a lot of people on here seem to steep their liquid.

Near as I can tell BRC is a new name for the protected lithium ion batteries we have been using all along, IMR on the other hand do not have the protection circuitry but rather use some chemical magic to make them safer than regular unprotected lithium ion batteries. I would not be ascared to use them for normal resistance vaping needs . I would not do extra low resistance at all so that would not be an issue for me.

using e cig to quit chewing tobacco

My son in law used vaping to quit dipping with good results.Once you find a liquid you like it gets easier. -
You won't find anything that tastes just like an analog. You should be able to find several liquids you like though.Just try a little of everything.Don't get too mouch from one vendor or of one flavor until you are sure you like it.

Dekang NUport is pretty good, nothing will taste just like burning leaves though. You can get it from LitecigUSA or Ecigbestsave.Ego type batteries will use any device made for Joye Ego,510 and 306 which is most of the stuff you see out there.Burnt taste usually means it got low on liquid and burnt the coil. Sometimes it will go away but usually it is time for a new coil/atomizer/cartomiser.The kik might be a variable voltage battery and the voltage got bumped up accounting for the burnt taste as well.Someone else will have to tell you about variable voltage as I don't go there.
