Cartomisers are refillable ,but they are disposable. You probably will not want to use a cartomiser for more than a week.I get three to five days of heavy use from one depending on the liquid and then the flavor and vapor quality start to suffer.I still think they are cost effective.

All that for four drops?A dripper drips three drops every six or seven drags. If you do electronic stuff go to Mad Vapes and some parts and build a box mod for less than $10.00 and another $20.00 for a charger some batteries. You will not regret it.

Have To Go Back To Analogs For A Bit :(
mcquinn replied to bass-n-vape's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Out of curiosity I bought a pack of Camel lights last week.Gave them away. The first one was the way I rembered them ,the second one was just aweful. You can get quite a bit of liquid for what you will be paying for a couple of packs of analogs so that is not a valid excuse.$25.00 will get you 60 ml and a pack of cartos with shipping. -
Isn't a hookah what Arnold used to call prostitutes?

It is what it is.Just carry some spares and you will be ok.It will soon be apparent why everyone uses big battery PV's .

I just always thought the 510 cartomiser kits were good for starters ,as I usuaally recomend Joye and cartomisers are the way to go for newbies. As we all know carts are a pain. Most of us try to stick with things that are compatible when we commit and start to upgrade so a 510 carto kit would be a very good starting outfit.I live in IN andd she is in IL so I cannot giver her any in person coaching.I considered a KR808 kit but that is only compatible with DSE 901.

I used to use 801's and 302's a lot .As with any atty I use ,when they get to the point that you feel they need cleaning go for it .Fix it or finish it off.I soak mine with denture tabs and the do several rinses .Sometime it helps sometimes it don't .If it just needs freshened it should be cleanable but if it is carboned up where it is not making good vapor just getting very hot to the touch it is probably junk.

I was trying to find a 510 carto kit for an inlaw that is considering vaping.Couldn't find one anywhere I frequent.Ended up with a standard 510 kit.But now the title ,I cannot beleive how much Ego and Egotype stuff there is out there. No wonder people are getting sucked in by the ripoff artists as there are not many value priced introductory kits out there anymore. While the Ego may be a way better investment in the long run ,a person who is venturing in, is not wanting too wrap too much cash in an unknown quantity.I have bought several 510 kits for people who were curiouse.

Atomisers have a cup the element is in which has air holes, liquid seeps through those air holes and builds up in the area between the thread adapter and the cup unti it starts the leaking.DSE 901's have the hole in the side that allows that area to leak more profoundly than the others. On cartomisers I have found when they get funked up with leftovers from use that I have to add liquid more often than on a fresh one to get flavor until the leaking begins.Blow out the aties every so often and replace the cartos when the flavor starts to go away.

laquer thinner or nail poish remover ,which is basicly laquer thinner should do the trick.

Sounds like it is time to move up to a better power device with more options.I stayed with my Joye 302/DSE 801's way too long.I use 14500 box mods with either 510 or 901/808 fittings now and have quite an arsenal of atties/carto's to choose from.
-
Must Googleese,I am not sure what that is.
-
If you mean 302 you can use the 801 low resistance atties from MadVapes. But if you are using stock pennstyle batteries you probably will not have much luck with low res.

What Type Of Cartomizer Do You Use?
mcquinn replied to Christopher's topic in Polls and Questionnaires
Bites you can't paste on this iteration of the forum.Sometimes when I have a long winded post I type it in a word processor and copy and paste into the forum.Standard resistance single coil Boge. -
There is rent and overhead for brick and mortar. But no waiting for Post Office is worth something.I would just keep it in mind next time .

I only keep about a months worth on hand ,in my desk drawer at room temperature.

Is It True What "they Say" About Coffee Flavored Juice?
mcquinn replied to jen_haynes's topic in New Vapers Forum
There are some flavors that will for sure stay in an atty.It is not a bad thing if you like the flavor and intend to keep using it.I like to use Joye 306 atties to try liquid .They hit well and give a very good representation of what the liquid tastes like ,and they are easy to clean if you get ahold of some funk. They will fit your Ego batteries.I only commit cartomisers to liquid I like.I have never used a tank system and I am not sure if they can be cleaned or not.Someone will be along soon that would know.I have found denture tabs and several rinses will freshen an atty right up. -
I would guess liquids made to order in small batches would be subject to irregularities.I have tried some that people rave about and most ended up in the trash or used to mix with other liquids.Try contacting the supplier or do as I did and find another .
-
Those Blu batteries for sure will not have enough *** to run a dual coil.Time to move up to a big battery like a mod or Ego type.It is hard to give up on your first investment but sometimes it is more cost effective in the long run to write it off as education expense and gift the Blu to a friend after your monster mod arrives.
-
I agreee ,good starter although you may want to switch to cartomisers instead of tanks. You won't find any liquid that tastes like a Marlboro so just keep an open mind and look for some you like.I did frooty ones at first because I didn't like the 'backy flavors ,now I use mostly Dekang tobacco flavors.Your taste will change with time.

If it has set for a while I for sure do , different ingrediants with different specific gravities could seperate out.But I wouldn't imagine it happening in a bottle getting frequent use.

Could be the protection circut kickin in for too much current .

oopsie ,poked the wrong button .3.7 to 4 volts.

We'd all love to drive Mercedes as well.

Doubt there are many here that would buy a small battery model.Or standard resistance for that matter.I use most of those at standard resistance and 1.7 to 4 volts and they all will do the job.
