How Do I Get The Last Few Drops Out Of The Eliquid Bottle?
mcquinn replied to willmon22's topic in General Vaping Discussion
If you feel you must I suppose you could get it in the bottom and cut off the top with a box cutter and it should pour out.Must some real tasty liquid there. -
The way I do mine there is 6 solder joints and the rest is Super Glue.Ready to vape in 15 to 20 minutes.

I used my box mod when I had my knee replaced.I just didn't use it when anyone was around.Which is most of the time. -
The only battery failures I have heard of in conjunction with vaping had unprotected lithium ion batteries in series and they failed due to high current.IMR batteries are supposed to be formulated for high current applications.I bought one once to see what the fuss was about, still going after 7 or 8 months .I would buy mnore but the spacer thing is a pain.I once removed a cell from a DSE 801 and made a mod with it and when I was recharging sans protection circut I managed to blow it up.It wasn't confined so it was kind of a letdown.Just stunk real bad and made a small mess.

I would guess it doesn't have vents to releive the pressure in the event of a sudden release of energy and it would likely fail catstrophicly sendly shrapnel in the vicinity of your face. That quote would be an attempt to avoid responsibility when that event occurs. It's plastic so drilling vent holes would not be a problem for the faint of heart.Or they may not be confident the switch could handle high current .

How Long Do Your Batteries Last?
mcquinn replied to Deadpool809's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I kind of doubt that most of the batteries we buy are built for us.I suspect they are batteries made for laptop ,drills or other high end cordless devices ,that didn't quite makes the grade and are being sold off in bulk as hobbiest grade stuff. -

My 14500's start doing that after about 4 or 5 months, -
I have found Joye 306 standard resistance to be a must have .Awesome for trying out new eliquid or just having something different without commiting a carto. They come with thier own drip tip and the price is right. For some reason they tolerate liquid changes real well without very much flavor carryover.

You mean shooting up a laptop you paid for ?

I don't know ,I couldn't watch that guy for very long .I got the impression they all need to see Dr.Phil or Montel.

With all the 600+ mAh batteries out there they just aren't relevant anymore.I always found it was more cost effective to just carry three or four extra 801 batteries back in the day.Now I carry two extra 14500's an extra carto and a bottle of liquid in an old plastic flip top ciggie case I used to put my rollies in. -
They tried gel eliquid and it didn't work.Once you heat it up it thins out and runs everywhere .We haven't strayed too far from what started it all. They really did do some awesome engineering back in the day.

I think the liquid has more to do with the flavor than anything else.Unless you consider charred filler a flavor.☺The best liquids for me taste fine at standard resistance and voltage ,but I get bigger clouds of vapor at low resistance while going through the liquid faster.Dekang tobacco flavors do it for me.

Just ordered some 14500's from Electronicstix and some Joye eliquid from LitecigUSA.

I am still baffled by the "major US e-cigs company" I haven't been able to identify even a minor one.Other than some mod builders.PM me cause I gots to know.

If you have a volt meter you could check and see if the + is in the middle.

Not very much variety in the hardware dept. The prices are kind of low for actual Joye brand I would be wary of that.I don't use domestic liquid so I cannot comment on that. There are a lot of honest people and sadly a lot of crooked people selling this stuff these days and it would not be unusual for us to not have heard of them.If they delivered the goods in a decent time frame and you are happy with them ,I say sweet. Enjoy.
