I am thinking it is your device. What are you using? You could be maxing out the protection circutry .It will start to get hot but shut down before producing the goods.Just about any mod that is just a battery holder with a switch should fire those carto's in good fashion. The fancy variable volt devices and Ego types have circutry in them to adjust voltage ,limit current and extend battery life.Just to eliminate that you should go as simple as possible and see what happens.Perhaps a cheapo 5 volt passthrough and 1 amp wall wart power supply.Should be less than $20.00 and if that won't work you are indeed vapor challenged.

Awesome,congrats

I could use that around the house but I like my little 14500 box mods for out and about.I bet that baby comes on strong with double the current available from the get go.I think 3.7 volts from two batteries in paralell do a way better job than two 3 volt batteries in series and regulated down even to 5 volts.I have made a few 14500 and 10440 multicell 3.7 volt devices that work very good.

What kind of hand truck do you haul that on?Would say you were thinking outside the box but there doesn't seem to be much outside that box.Kind of refreshing just to see someone go for function first.

Turning A Cartomizer Into A Drip Atty
mcquinn replied to danpio1217's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Some of the tastier liquids seem to me to clog up an atty or carto quicker than others. The price you pay I suppose.Atties and carto's are consumable items meant to be used until they don't work so good then tossed. Some of us have a hard time accepting that and drive ourselves nutz trying to get a few more days from one. -
Back in the day,we woild blow through them backwards from the LED end and stand them threads down in a shotglass full of dry rice to try and dry them out when we got liquid in the switch.Sometimes they do dry out and work but there is the reason most of us use manual batteries these days. The alcohol thing should work in theory as alcohol dries out electrical stuff but it also can short out and ruin the circut board as when it is customarily used to dry out electrical things the electrical source is disconnected .

Turning A Cartomizer Into A Drip Atty
mcquinn replied to danpio1217's topic in General Vaping Discussion
The Boge ones are hard to do as the element is lengthwise and as you pointed out the wire goes through the middle. The horizontal type like the SLB's are pretty easy to pull it out .They will leak pretty easy as there is nothing to hold the liquid in the vicinity of the element though. -
It doesn't matter for most mods which way the battery is in ,just the ones with vv or booster circutry might have an issue .A basic mod just sends the current to the atty/carto and it just doesn't matter as long as it makes contact.

I'm New To E-Cig ! Please Suggest Me On What Should I Get !
mcquinn replied to khomkrit's topic in New Vapers Forum
A lot of people I am working with are using the 21st Century ones from tobaco shops. The kits are not priced too bad but they get you on prefilled carto's.I have been hooking them up with liquid to refill.Haven't been able to identify the carto.Kind of like a Joye but the threads are a larger diameter and the end is glued in.Funny they won't consider ordering a 510 or Ego but would rather pick them up locally.Wish I could afford to start a real vapor shop and live large like some people I know. -
I Sense A Sea Change In Vaping Coming Soon....
mcquinn replied to xiefotah's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I think variety and bulk liquids will go away and prefilled regulated nic content and a very few tobaco flavors will be the future.I am at the point I am pretty sure I could quit vaping if it came to that.I mostly just vape for the flavor. It will be interesting to see how they go about it .Bans on internet sales will surely be part of it.I think the pioneer internet vendors are sensing this and that is why thier business model is going brick and mortar and most have aquired tobaco liscenses since vaping suplies are considered tobaco products. My advice is if you are trying to beat an addiction you should get down to low or no nic as quick as possible. If you are just trying beat the system you better stock up and learn how to DIY.But we have been hearing stuff like this for years and will just have take it as it comes. -
I vape low or no nic and it is the whole process of vaping that gets me away from what I am doing that relaxes me.Used to be when I smoked I would leave what I was doing and go somewhere else with people I only associated with while smoking and we had our little community time.I think that is something I really miss.I used to smoke and joke with vice presidents ,phycisists and other people I normally wouldn't and now never spend time with.

I don't think you are wrong.Where there is a will there is a way.I never had much trouble getting what I thought I required as a kid.

Need Help Finding An (All-Day / Everyday) Vape
mcquinn replied to Dejavu's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Any of the Dekang tobaco flavors suit me fine.I usually have one bottle for use at home and a different one for away and use them until they are gone then get a different one.I just got an order in 10 10 ml bottles of liquid and a pac of Boge carto's for less than $60.00 from http://www.ecigbestsave.com/default.asp or http://www.litecigusa.net/dekang_e_liquid_s/60.htm -
While they are not a very good deal ,they do however give a person a chance to try it out and usually when a person decides they like it they start looking for a better deal and hopefully they find us and we set them on the right path. Some of the ones sold in Piggly Wiggly type stores are not as bad as the mall kiosks. The rent in malls is through the roof and by the time you charge a little for your time I can see why they charge so much.
-
I am not sure about the law as e-cig's in general are considered tobaco products.I do think it would be a bad idea for someone who isn't addicted to smoking to start vaping as we do not know the long term effects of vaping only that it has to be less harmfull than tobaco use.
-
They have only so many recharge cycles so it makes more sense to run them until the low voltage cutoff shuts them down.
-
How did they get my pic without me seein the flash?☺
-
I am not into processes.I drip it in and vape it.If it requires steeping ,spinning ,injecting,or any other nonesense I don't go there.☺But everybody is different. Its all good.☺
-
Maybe a bit much.I usually just have my away flavor and my @ home flavor going at one time.I have a trust 306 atty for those times I just want a taste of something else.
-
I would drill some or notch it with a Dremel. It is amazing for the low cost how consistant they are.
