  1. I carry an old plastic fliptop ciggie case I used to put rollies in.It holds a 10 or 15 ml bottle ,and extra carto and two spare 14500 batteries.I have to pour from a 30 or 50 ml bottle into smaller ones.I do get some 30's and 50's for around the house cause it is a little less costly.
  2. Kind of tilt it to the side so the drop has to run down. When it does that just unscrew it and blow it out into a kleenex to remove the excess.Once one gets too much liquid it will stay flooded and leaking until you blow it out.
  3. It takes a while to get your lungs cleaned out.Coughing is natures way of expunging foreign objects from the lungs.Just work on your technique.Don't inhale straight into your lungs, get a mouthfull of vapor then inhale. And try different liquids some are milder than others.Standard resistance @ 3.7 volts also is less harsh. We spent a long time getting in the shape we are in it takes time to undo it.Hang in there.
  4. I usually try eliquid out by dripping on a Joye 306 or 510 atty, they will fit 510 and Ego threaded devices, are very tolerant of flavor changes and you don't ruin a tank or carto with nasty liquid.A lot of us just drip around the house for better flavor and use tanks or carto's out and about for ease of use.
  5. Forevervapor,LitecigUSA,Ecigbestsave,AwesomeVapor,MadVapes or Electronicstix are some I would recomend.
  6. I like 10 ml bottles ,I usually am ready for a change of flavor about that time. There are about 15 different backy' flavors in the Dekang lineup.
  7. <-- derrr obviously not a DIY'er.
  8. Still too new to know for sure what we are inhaling.I suspect way better than burning leaf chemical cocktail mix we were breathing.I wouldn't try to fool myself into thinking vaping is good for me.Just less harmfull.Best to get you some refillable carto's and an Ego battery and a shoebox full of tasty liquid to keep them carto's wet with.
  9. Does it have the same resistance as you are acustomed to?That would make a difference.I don't think there is much difference in the gudgeons of the rebuildable and non .It takes a little while to get one run in.
  10. From the research I have done most of the stuff we use is outsourced to different shops in China.I have seen evidence in the past that some Joye and DSE atomisers were made in the same shop from the same materials.I would suppose they would still be doing that with cartomisers. When something is in big demand it makes sense to outsource it rather than invest in more capacity given the fickle nature of the vaping community. There has been instances where people noticed supposedly the same battery with the same name being quite different. The conclusion usually is that they are counterfit.I am not sure that is the case at all.A box of Boge carto's goes for less than $7.00 retail ,that means the retailer is making a markup and recovering his costs, the wholesaler is making a profit and recouping his costs and the manufacturer is making a profit and covering his costs. You probably can't just increase your factory size at the drop of a hat with that kind of margin.
  11. wuts the other 83 %?
  12. Sounds like normal ,all the liquid does not get vaporised and whats left either cakes up on the coil ,stays in the filler or floats around in the tank.Shouldn't be a problem untill operation or taste is affected then it's time for a new carto.
  13. If you are using those cartomisers without the tank and you can ,you doesn't hasta peel them.
  14. Looks like you have refillable cartomisers there. If they don't have holes in the side(black portion).Yu just remove the rubber plug and put in 22 drops of liquid the first time, allow it to soak in a few minutes, put the plug back in,screw it on and enjoy. You will have to remove the plug and drop 5 or 6 drops every so often. You will get the hang of it.A hot bunt taste indicates it is time to top it off.Not sure wha the deal on the right is the stainless looking parts.May be an atomiser and drip tip.If that is what it is you can put 2 or 3 drops in the atty ,put the drip tip on and vape that for 3 or 4 puffs. If that is a drip tip it could go on the cartomisers in place of the rubber plugs for ease of use.The cartomiser with the holes in the side are for the tank.
  15. I am grossed out by stale smoke smell but sometimes burnig tobacco still smells mighty good to me.I cleaned my house real good as well.
  16. Are you using the same charger on both?If so I would say the charger is not making contact all the time.If it is two seperate chargers I would say you are having a run of bad luck.If you don't have one you should get one of those extensions used for charging 510 manual batteries and try that to see if it allows things to make better contact.Make sure all the connectors are clean and dry.Spare batteries and chargers are always a good idea.A passthrough is also a good idea.
  17. No you can choose one or the other.I just suggest you try a variety of things to see what meets your need. The Ego is a good battery because it allows for that. You will get an Ego atomiser and cartridges with the starter kit if you go the Ego route. The Boge refillable carto's are similar to what you have been using only refillable with whatever tasty liquids you buy to put in them.Yes a battery ,charger liquid and a box of carto's is all you need. The Ego passthrough has a built in charger. It is always a good idea to have at least one extra battery on hand as it takes 3 to 5 days for an order to arrive,so overstock some at first until you find out your useage to keep from having to go back to analogs while waiting for the mailman.
  18. An Ego starter kit or Ego passthrough will solve the battery life problem.I would use Vision Ego clearomisers,Boge refillable cartomisers-Ego ,Joye 306 or 510 atomisers for dripping. And an assortment of tasty eliquid.Any of the suppliers in the forum supplier list will be able to hook you up for a fair price with good support. Most will answer questions via email.
  19. Ego C and T are tank systems. Both have thier problems and I personaly would avoid them.Just a reguar Ego .Clearomisers are like a tank ,you remove the tip and fill with liquid. You can see the liquid level ,they work pretty good .They do have some minor leakage issues but nothing that cannot be tolerated.
  20. For starters I would just get an Ego @ 3.7 and a variety of high and low resistance carto's.atties and or clearomisers.Low resistance @3.7 is roughly the same effect as high resistance at higher voltage as far as vapor production is concerned.Just starting out I would keep it simple. And it don't get any simpler than filling up a Boge cartomiser and hooking it to an Ego .You can branch out later and what you have will be compatible and familiar with most more advanced equipment.
  21. It took several years for us to get in the shape we are in,it will take a while to undo it.Hang in there it will get better. You will soon get your sense of smell back and be aghast at how you use to smell to nonsmokers.
  22. Here is a stainless steel one http://www.litecigusa.net/Joyetech_EGO_Kit_in_Stainless_Steel_p/egosskit.htm don't know about "full mech." unless it is referring to a mechanical switch instead of electronic or tactile ,in wich case mechanical would be more reliable in the long run.Rebuildable usually refers to having a replacable coil and wick assy.DIY usually refers to mixing you own eliquid. In my opinion unless you are just looking for a hobby ,eliquid is so inexpensive from so many suppliers there really is no point in amassing all the supplies and equipment for DIY.
  23. Here is a Hi and a welcome.
  24. I think I would simple it down a bit and get an Ego and a variety of atties/cartos to try.Like Vision Clearomiser around $5.00 ,Boge high and low resistance cartomisers $7.00 a box,510 or 306 atties for dripping along with the Ego atty that comes with the kit. Most people have settled on that rig for cost ,simplicity and a large selection of vendors to choose from.
  25. Ebay is not worth the hassle.Considering how long they last it is well worth paying a trusted vendor.
