  1. I. U.= international unit. This is a unit used to measure the activity (that is, the effect) of many vitamins and drugs. For each substance to which this unit applies, there is an international agreement specifying the biological effect expected with a dose of 1 IU. Other quantities of the substance are then expressed as multiples of this standard. This also means that this measurment is not based on sheer volume or weight of the substance, but rather the effect. ml = milliliter. This is a VOLUME measurement. it is 1/1000 of a liter. when talking about water or similar liquids, it is equivelant to one cubic centimeter. cc = cubic centimeter. This is also a VOLUME measurement. Most syringes measure their capacity in cc's. If you have a 5cc syringe, it will hold ~5ml of liquid in it. mg = milligram. This is a WEIGHT measurement. It is 1/1000 of a gram. the amount of chemical substance is often measured in milligrams. For injectable solutions, this will be reported as a concentration of weight to volume, such as mg/ml (milligrams per milliliter). In the case of orally administered substances, the weight of chemical is labeled, athough the actual weight of the pill/capsule may be much higher, because of the use of filler substances. This means that a small pill may be much more potent than a large pill, so don't judge a pill based on its size, but the actual amount of substance for which it is labeled as. mcg = microgram = 1/1000 of a mg (milligram) There are one thousand micrograms in one milligram. Conversion factors: 1000 mcg (microgram) = 1 mg (milligram) 1000 mg (milligram) = 1 g (gram) 1000 g (gram) = 1 kg (kilogram) 1000 ml (milliliter) = 1 liter 1ml (water) = 1cc (water) 1ml (oil) ~ 1cc (oil) (~ denotes approximately equal to)
  2. I wonder how much C-4 will fit when they go to the extreme at the end of the show?

Very nice Sinikal ,I don't mean to be an A** but sometimes we forget who may read these threads and we just confuse them even more.I apologize to anyone who I may have offended I think any hardware is good hardware ,run what you brung.
  4. I had that trouble with the tobaco flavors ,could not taste them at all, felt like I was sucking steam.I just went with the frooty ones and coffees ,and after seven months I am going to start trying them again.

    Ego?

My point is a newbie who is confused and asking an honest question just need the facts and not twenty different personal preferences .
  7. VaporKIngs is allright ,and they have some neat hardware. The liquid is a little more expensive than I am accustomed to though. But I would not be afraid to order from them again. That is where I got my adapters to put 901 and 510's on my 801 power gear.I love the fact that if it is not a genuine Joye they tell you that instead of just trying to pass them off, they have Joye 510 and some DSE made 510 styles that are cheaper ,they work ok I have never tried a Joye 510 for comparison though.
  8. I am just working to beat my nic addiction and be nic free so just in case I won't have to go back to terbacky.

    Ego?

No offense to anyone ,or not implying anything about the quality of anyones product ,but.As they all use the same attomisers at the same voltages I am a little befuddled how all these claims are made for more vapor production from one model than from another.I think once you lay out the $100.00 you have to convince yourself that it works better.Just my opinion.
  10. I wouldn't mind seeing another one of those videos with Kari in a bikini and lab coat testing the e-cigg like the one with the diet coke and mentos video.
  11. It would beat having a pile of chargers around. That is why I just use 801 batteries and passthroughs with adapters for 510 and 901 atty's.
  12. I've got four passthoughs ,two Kissbox and two homemade, five 801 batteries ,seven 302 atty's ,three 901 atty's and two 510 atty's ,I think I am ready for about anything.
  13. There are some usb chargers that use a rubber grommet instead of brass threads that ar supposed to charge most batteries.I saw one at Vapor Kings.
  14. I wish I was getting a refund ,the Gov. gave us that extra $25.00 a week for stimulus but that meant I was way short of having enough withheld because they didn't lower taxes any.
  15. wow, I have been scratching around to try and make 500.
  16. I agree Interstink ,I mostly stick to 3.7 as it works best for me.But everyone is different so go with what worx for you.
  17. I use the 302's mostly and I like to use carts ,all that popping the top off and on is a pain ,the 302's put out a pretty good amount of vapor with carts.
  18. Can't add much to that ,isn't it nice to have so many helpful people ?
  19. I wouldn't worry about it as long as it just blinks occasionally ,if it stayed on for a while it could burn out the atty.I think to be on the safe side I would unscrew the attty if I wasn't going to use it for a while.I would still use the battery up as I don't have extra money to waste .
  20. Finally a good use for those dumb round carts.I had one end fall off when I dropped it but I didn't see the fortune in it like you did. I only get the melting on the rare occasion I use 5 volts.I usually use DSE 901 carts with my 510's for the whistle tip and little larger capacity.
  21. I tried Bling and I think Microsoft should stick to trying to make a good affordable operating system and forget about Apple they are less of a threat than what Microsoft has been doing the last four times.
  22. I would way rather get a dose of second hand vapor than the gasses I get from my co-workers.
  23. Whats not to love about vaping? Its all good.
  24. If they are in vote em out I think it is time to switch to Independant party for a change that is not like Obama's change. His change seems to be becoming Socialist.Too much change for me.
  25. If you have the manual batteries you can't hurt them,I would recomend a passthrough they are way less hassle .They are less than $20.00 at most suppliers.
