  1. When I first started I got two kits so I would have extra everything and down the road I got a third for charger to leave at work.It was more economical at first to order starter kits but now I have enough carts and chargers and my batteries last a lot longer so I just buy what I consume.
  2. I like the VT Dulcis ,ElectroNicStix apple,RY4,B&H and USA mix,AwesomeVapor RY4,Turkish Blend and coffee
  3. When I was smoking I got so much flak from people that I really just did not want to hear any more.I know they all meant well but quitting smoking has to be something you want to do,when you are ready .Best thing is just be there to answer questions when they ask and talk about something less controversial like politics or religion.
  4. Can you imagine they make those so inexpensively that they can be sold in the US for $7.00 and everyone makes a little money on them.I doubt very much of that process could be automated.

Could be you are one of the unfortunate who is allergic to PG,but most most likely you just need to drink more water and perhaps cut back a little on the vaping. It is easy to just sit and puff and most of us do it without thinking.
  6. Here is what I find for specs on 14500 Trustfires Product Specifications: •Capacity: Nominal 800 mAh •Dimensions: Diameter 14 Height 49 •Weight (Typical) Approx. 21 g •Nominal Working Voltage: Average 3.6V •Peak Voltage: 4.2V •Discharge Cut-off Voltage: 2.75V •Internal Resistance: <80 mOhm •Cycle Performance: 85% of initial capacity at 300 cycles •Cycle life: > 300 cycles •Max. Charging current: 1C ma •Max. Discharging current 2.5C ma (for continuous discharge) again instead of telling us the discharge current they give you 2.5C and I am not sure what formula that translates into.
  7. You would have to build some kind of adapter to get a current reading as the meter has to be in series with the atty.I was looking at 10440's and 18650's and as I said they all either said half an amp or .2C which I am told is some kind of electrical engineering way of saying capacity of the battery divided by 4 And it seems to come out .5 ampsI was able to find specs on most common batteries at Battery Junction. .I am no electrical engineer by a long shot and full voltage at half an amp for a longer time than a stock battery is worth something.I was just under the impression that I was getting more than I turned out to be getting from single battery mods.
  8. I didn't have any problems with it last summer, all mine arrived in fine condition.
  9. I was researching protected batteries and found out something interestingto me.The protection board not only cuts them off if they over charge or if the voltage drops too low but they also limit the amount of current flow to 0.5 amps. What this means is a 5 volt mod with protected batteries is going to be quite a bit cooler than a straight passthrough at 5 volts. For those of you building mods I would look into hooking your batteries in parallel fashion as two hooked up that way will give you 1.0 amps of current. When you run two batteries in series like the crc123's you are running through two of theses circut boards and I have no idea what happens then but I am sure you would not get what you think you are getting. The voltage which is easy to measure would be what you expect but the current flow is going to be at the most 0.5 amps maybe less.I am not posting this to insult anyones equipment as I think it is all good this is just a FYI about batteries. Some of you might already know this but it is new to me.
  10. In my opinion and not knowing how much longer we will enjoy the availability and variety we now have ,I would not recomend anyone take a chance on getting addicted to nicotine as they might have to resort to analogs in the future to feed the addiction if somehow the FDA and the people who just dislike us get thier way.I would recomend anyone who is addicted to nicotine now take advantage of this gift and use it to free themselves of the addiction. But having said all that I believe this is America and you all are informed consenting adults use your best judgement on what is right for you.
  11. Dripping is not required it is optional,if you are having trouble just enjoy a cart.
  12. Condoms and cartomisers?I am not sure I like where this is going.I am glad someone is trying to improve on things .Except for the fact they are wanting to sell more carto's ,I wonder why they don't make the end pop off easy for refilling.
  13. That is good advice above ,as far as liquid goes I have tried a lot and I have never found one even close to the smoking experience.I have found a few flavors I like real well and once I decided vaping was vaping and smoking was smoking I am very satisfied now and do not miss the Camel lights any more.
  14. That is pretty slick. The DSE 901 carts work well with the 510's and have a thinner tip than the 510 whistle tips.I wish I would have started with AA boxes instead of AAA boxes it would have been a whole lot easier.I went with the AAA because I figured I had 10440 batteries in my passthroughs and I didn't want a lot of chargers and batteries around. Then I went and built the 18650 one and blew that.Keep up the good work and the pictures are great,I need a new camera.
  15. I would guess if they offered even half the wholesale value it would be insulting and not worth the shipping.I know with most forms of retail you can aquire new stock with warranties for a lot lower price than a person thinks the product they just bought is worth. It is best to just gift them or keep for when your main sled (the one you really wanted) breaks down.
  16. I would say it is just a weak atty as that liquid should not cause any problem.I have noticed that some of them will wick liquid from carts real well and others are only good for dripping,I suppose it is a quality control thing .But for the price I cannot see how they build them at all.I mean $7.00 to $10.00 and it was shipped from China and who knows how many places made a little money on it.
  17. The idiots are trying to bleed a very good meal ticket dry.If I was the goverenment I would be very nice to someone who hands over as much cash as smokers do.
  18. Usually if I over do it I cannot sleep very well, especially at that high of nic.
  19. What kind of juice you using?I have trouble with some carboning up atty's in a short order. Are you carting or dripping?Sometimes you just get a bad one and it is only good for dripping.Could be the center contact is pushed in a little and not making good contact, try seeing if you can jiggle it down a little with a paper clip or something that will fit in the hole.
  20. Sorry I missed this Jambone. A passthrough at 5 volts is nothing more than an atty adapter which you can buy from MadVapes or other places or I get mine by dismantling an old dead stock battery ,a switch again MadVapes or Radio Shack and a usb cord ,I cut up a usb extension cord or you can dismantle any old usb device like a mouse. Finally you need a housing to hold it together. You can use anything from one of the battery boxes from MadVapes or Radio Shack ,I use car cell phone chargers which I get from Goodwill or you could even mold one from the epoxy putty like they advertise on tv and is available from most hardware or lumber comapnies. The red and black wires in the usb cord are the ones you need to use .I put a 4.8 ohm resistor inline on mine to bring them down to around 4 volts as 5 volts is too harsh for me.You need to have a soldering iron and maybe a volt meter/ohmeter .Sorry I am not much of a technical writer ,hope this helps. There are more detailed posts wit pictures on some of the forums maybe even this one.
  21. TeriJo VaporKings has the adapter you are seeking http://www.vaporkings.com/Joye_510_to_DSE901_or_KR808D_1_adapter_p/adapt-510-to-901-808.htm " Description Now you can vape a DSE901/RN4075 atomizer or even a KR808D-1 cartomizer on any of your Joye 510 batteries or USB passthrough adapters. Solid metal construction with a silver finish. "
  22. They sell them at VaporKings and they sure do have a lot of options. The following battery combinations are possible: 1 x CR123A 3.7v for a total of 3.7v 2 x CR123A 3.0v for a total of 6.0v 1 x 16340 3.7v for a total of 3.7v 1 x 17670 3.7v for a total of 3.7v 1 x 18350 3.7v for a total of 3.7v 1 x 18500 3.7v for a total of 3.7v 1 x 18650 3.7v for a total of 3.7v 1 x 18500 3.7v for a total of 3.7v 1 x 14500 3.7v for a total of 3.7v 2 x CR123A 3.6v for a total of 7.2v (recommended only with Imeoatties) 2 x CR123A 3.7v for a total of 7.4v (recommended only with Imeoatties)
  23. http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/gallery/image/387-18650-2400-mah-battery/ The one in the middle is a 10440 battery the 18650's are 2400mAh and will go all day,I haven't tried to run one down yet to see how long they will go but it sure offsets the size of the mod.
  24. Everything I got from Vermont Vapor tasted to me like it had a tea base ,you might look around there.
  25. I am not sure about the battery but the atty will work when dried .
