A small amount of the vapor will condensate on the cooler portions of the cart/tip and that will run out or end up in your mouth.Whenever I top off my cart I make a habit out of blowing the condensate out of the cart into a tissue and wiping it off before I reassemble it.If you can stand your PV on end so extra liquid runs toward atty element it will help ,but if you are using auto batteries you run the risk of liquid running into the battry and ruining it.

You can boil them in water ,soak them in alcohol, cola,Everclear ,I use denture tabs, make sure you rinse them well ,blow them out and allow to stand on end battery side up over night.Drip three or four drops of liquid to reprime them and if they are not too bad off they are usually good as new for a while. If you are not getting good vapor out of an atty there is not much harm you can do and if you get another couple of weeks or months you are ahead of the game.

Sounds plugged up for sure, hope you have a spare.Try one of the cleaning methods and you might be able to save it ,3 months is pretty good if you haven't been cleaning it regularly.

I like the "pennstyles" and until recently have used them exclusivly.I never bothered measuring the resistance. The high bridge DSE's for me as I like to use carts most of the time were a mess as they squeeze the filler down to half the size of the resevoir caused me to ruin a few batteries and make lotsa messes. The last four low bridge ones I got did not seem to wick the liquid from the carts and have been relegated to dripping duty.I have been using DSE 901's for carts and they seem to be doing a great job and are consistant.I might have gone with 510's but there are too many types of them and I do not want to mess with it.The "pennstyles" deliver a larger volume of vapor I believe because there is simply more room to create it due to the size of the chamber, also more room for condensate to settle out perhaps making a drier vape.I just measured one new LB from ElectroNicStix and it is 3.6 ohms a new 901 from same place is 3.3 ohms.

I have not been too impressed by the blue ones so far I have ended up removing the protection boards from all I have bought.I would suspect the less expensive ones are either seconds or from another manufaturer. There is usually a disclaimer somewhere that says what they ship you may not be what is pictured so you are just kind of taking a shot in the dark.

Every body is different.I guess that is good for people trying to make a living of them.

Setting on the toilet ,driving and setting at the computer seem to be perfect places to smoke or vape I guess it completes the ritual.

I can do that I put some pix of the incision in an album if that kind of stuff interest you.

Looking For E-Liquid Source That Ships To Canada
mcquinn replied to Steve32's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I believe AwesomeVapor and ElectroNicStix do ,they have contact info on the sites and they reply fairly quickly. They are both very reputable. -
You can get battery boxes and switched from Radio Shack online and at the store.Battery Junction has batteries ,chargers and moddable flashlights.I get cell phone chargers for cheap at Goodwill to make passthrough's with and they usually have something at Goodwill you can cut a usb cord off of for cheap.Pipe fittings are available at hardware stores and lumber comapanies. You just have to look at the world through new eyes as about anything can be made into a mod.

You could just buy some DSE 901 atties and carts ,they will fit your KR808 batteries .You can drip away with those. Both the DSE 901's and KR808's for that matter are available at a lot of locations ElectroNicStix for one .

No,just the Joye 306 after you start prying carto's open and refilling them it appeared to me to resemble the 306 but a lot more difficult. Perhaps we need to just rethink the whole thing. It doesn't have to be 3.7 ,5 or 6 volts it could be 110 volts the thing is to find the right temperature to vaporise the liquid .So a person could have a little chamber hooked to a piece of tubing to a pipe tip,the chamber would need access to drip liquid in and for air to replace the vapor when you evacuate it.An easy heating element would be 5 to 15 watt night light bulbs and these should last quite a while as they are twice removed from the liquid. This could be put into a housing that would resemble the elusive "Hookah" so many people are looking for or get artistic.Being 110 volts and low wattage it would not cost a lot to leave it hot in standby and if the chamber did not have much mass it would heat up quickly after it has been off. Most of us are sitting around the house more than 75% of the time we are vaping anyway.

Sweet ,hope it works out for you.

Hmm that must be a new part as Radio Shack usually does not stock anything 3.7 volt related.I couldn't get it to come up on the website is that all the numbers?
-
I personaly have found that if I have one that will not glow orange when I hook it up to my 5 volt pass through ,even though it gets hot to the touch it will never vape correctly.I use this test on my 510 style ,my 901's and my 801/302 LB atties. It is time to toss them when they fail this test for me.I am pretty picky about the liquid I buy any more and have been having less problems since I use exclusivly imported liquids. But that is what works for me .

You got the wheels turning ,I should be working on my next order pretty soon. When I get it built I will share with you all.

That is like the charger I recomended except the one I have is two bay. They are a little picky on how the battery is inserted ,sometimes you need to kind of spin it over with your finger tip to get it to make contact. For some reason they do not always make good contact and they will not charge .As long as the battery is not getting hot I doubt it will cause a fire as there is no circut being completed.I would say that battery should charge in less than two hours. There is a caveat. The charger has a built in protection board that will not allow the battery to charge if it has been discharged beyond a certain point. If you are using nonprotected battries you may have drawn it down too far.If you are using protected batteries and I suspect you are there is another circut board on the battery that also will not allow it to take a charge if it is drawn down too far or in the case of some of my 1440's the connection from the positive terminal to the circut board came loose due to me dropping them I suppose and the circut board on the battery could not read the voltage on the battery so it disconnected the negative terminal and precluded them from charging. If your batteries are of the blue jacketed UltraFire variety I would say this is a good likelyhood as they do not seem to be very well constructed.(My opinion only)I would order the Trustfire charger and a few Trustfire batteries if I were you.

I kind of quit paying attention to those kind of goof balls when they came up with third hand smoke. -

There is a person on one of the forums who uses citric acid to clean his ,you should be able to rinse about anything out of there eventualy.

The day I accepted that vaping was vaping and would never taste like analogs is the day I started believing I could kick the nicotine habit.I had a PV for my two nights in the hospital but I did not use it as much as I thought I would.

People usually make positive comments about RY4 types .Neever had anyone object to any smell yet.I suppose if I have to smell hazelnut coffee they smell my Vaping.

Hark a small voice crying out in the wilderness.Keep up the good work Brandon.

If you have one that does not work ,you can take it apart I have on occasion fixed a few.I have found wires come loose from the connecter (most likely from me trying to pry them down to make contact )and resoldered them.I tried once to crush the carbon ball but the element broke in the process. It is kinda neat to lok at whats in one and if it aint workin right anyway you aren't going to be out anything. You might just be "The Chosen One" and when you see whats in there it might be obviouse to you how to make a better atty. Some people hook the bridge and pull it out to expose the element for dripping ,I would think it would cause you to have to drip more often as there is no bridge to hold a supply of liquid.Someone uses a Waterpick to clean atties,I suppose if it aint working you got nothing to lose and if you get a few more days it might be worth it.All in al just keep plenty on hand and have some fun with it.I get the 901 and 801/302LB three packs from ElectroNicStix and they have five packs for 510's.

I have found the same thing ,I think some just do not get as hot as others and they tend to carbon up very quick depending on the liquid .As a rule for me it seems the tastier the liquid the quicker the atties carbon up.I suspect whatever the sweetening agent is causes this.I only use 3.7 or 4 volts ,people who vape at 5 or 6 volts seem to have less trouble ,I suppose the higher voltage tends to burn off the carbon better. When you find a good atty enjoy it and baby it I one my first one actually that lasted over six months and produced great vapor the whole time .It is actually amazing these things work at all as something will always get left behind when you vaporise the liquid carrier.
