I think oil based ones like citrus mess up atties.I have not had much luck with the ones from the grocery store.They don't seem to be concentrated enough and to get the flavor to pop you have too large a percentage of flavoring and I don't think it tastes very good.

You can do that .VG is very good by itself even with no flavoring,it makes huge clouds of vapor.As far flavoring go the more concentrated the flavor the better.I have found that if the mix has too much by volume of flavoring it tastes like crap.I pretty much have given up on mixing my own but a lot of people enjoy it .There seem to be other ingrediants that they put in and there is all kinds of reasoning behind it ,throat hit being one reason.I hope I answered your qusetion ,I think I did .I had better luck with flavoring from DIYFlavorshack as they were mixed specificly for vaping.I do not have the refined palatte most vapers seem to have so a lot what they put in the revues doesn't seem to mean much to me.

Blowing through it works ,the 901 tip provides a baffle and the tip I prefer.The carto's are kind of odd they do a lot of popping and cracking when you puff on them and after three or four good puffs you have to set it down and let the liquid redistribute.They are o.k. but I think I will stay with the 901's as my main sled for now and keep the 510 carto's as a pinch hitter.If people start hoarding atties I will have another choice to increase my chances of scoring something if I need one.

The carts are interchangeable between the 510's and the 901's so use which ever tip you like the best.I only recently aquired a real Joye 510 and have not tried it yet but I have used the DSE 510's and the DSE 901's and I don't see much difference myself.

I think Nicorette is the gum the cleaning staff scrapes out from under tables,chairs and desks.It was pretty tough and nasty.

Good one Resa .I am all about getting every last puff of vapor out of this stuff after I pay for it.I used to smoke "rollies" thats how frugal I was.

I don't know of many Vapers here but I bet it would be wierd to have a room clouded up from ceiling to floor and still be able to breathe.One of my favorite things to do on a sunny afternoon is vape 100%VG and watch the sun beams dancing in the clouds of vapor .I can fill aroom by myself pretty easy.

I got mine today.They put out a fair amount of vapor I would say not much different than a 510 or 901.I am having trouble getting liquid in mt mouth as there is no baffle and I might be overfilling.I got the ones with the rubber plugs from ElectroNicStix.A whittled down 901 tip will fit nicely and helps with the liquid.They work good enough in my opinion the only reason I would not switch to them is not being able to change the filler.I think someone has had success cleaning the filler and reusing the carto's a while longer ,I think they used Everclear or Vodka.I suppose if you are one who replaces atties frequently these would be a good deal ,for us cheapskates who use our atties as long as possible they are not really cost effective.I am using it on my 18650 battery at the moment.

I haven't had any issues with wieght ,and my family is subject to gross obesity.That was always one of my arguments with my Dr. ,would I be better off weighing 300+ pounds or smoking since I have arthritis and a ruptured disc.I think the pacifier effect of vaping has more to do with it than the nicotine.

I noticed when the hospital I worked at went tobacco free that a small community was in effect dissolved.When I first hired in I was a Janitor but I stood in the rain and snow and sun with vice presidents ,nurses ,computer geeks and the public and we talked ,joked and shared events in our lives.Now I seldom see those people as they have no excuse to leave thier area and venture into the world.Kind of sad.And all this texting ,emailing and tech junk is another form of isolating us.I agree this would be a community worth trying to hang on to.

Hmm ,I wonder why they put the piece of cloth with the hole burned in it in there?It is different than the filler but if it is just going to burn away I am not sure why it is there,unless it just keeps the element straight and clean until assembeled.I guess my main question got answered though .It would be way too difficult to restuff one.I do like the suggestion of cleaning them out with alcohol to keep the flavor fresher.

Oh man what I am finding so far makes me glad I don't use that stuff no more.I am not too sure I feel comfortable sharing the info I found ,but I will say it is way more involved than just soaking or boiling tobacco.That would give you a tobacco extract for flavor purposes the nicotine is a little bit trickier to get out.With the one method I read about I pictured in my mind Richard Pryor running down the street.I don't see any way so far that what we are vaping came from tobacco plants.Nicotine is in a lot of other plants it is a natural insecticide.

thanx those are some good pix.Would you say the cloth is more like a tshirt ,pillow case or tea bag?So what I am seeing is the vapor is created in the filler and you draw through the filler material to the opening in the mouthpiece.Is there a baffle to keep from getting a mouth full of juice?I was expecting the element to be sideways for some reason.

Could someone who has done a postmortem on a 510 cartomiser give us the 411 on whats in there?I am particularly interested in the filler material .Is it something a person could make a pattern out of and possibly replace when it starts to burn?I know this kind of sounds silly as they are supposed to be thrown away but it does not seem that is what you guys are doing with them.A lot of time has been spent trying to find ways to refill them but I have never seen any posts about restuffing one.I would gues the element should have an equal lifespan as a regular atty.I have just ordered some of the ones with the rubber plugs but have not recieved them yet.Pictures if you can. __________________

I would guess you would need to soak tobacco in alcohol or water and then press or spin the lquid out ,filter it and that should have most of what you need in it.Dang it I don't even use the stuff anymore but you got me curiouse.I will get back if I find something usefull.

I am sure the information is out there.From what i hear you can find information to do about anything on the internet.Not that I would ever look I did see a video of someone soaking Snus in PG and stuffing the soaked Snusbags in a pennstyle cart and getting vapor and by his claim nicotine from it.

I have been off nic for about three weeks and I agree with Christopher in that you get to where you don't bother taking your PV and a box of supplies everywhere you go.I still enjoy the flavor and the act of just taking time to kick back and blow some vapor rings.I guess it is more like people used to do woth cigars and pipes .I don't live to vape it is just a treat for me now.

And a lot of them are the one who just quit paying at all when they decide they need the money for something else.I would rather get 5 % from someone I know will pay me back than 22% from someone who I know does not have the means to pay .But that just me ,good thing I don't run the goverenment .

I am not so sure when it happens we will have the luxury of going back to analogs.Maybe cigars or pipes as those must not be as harmful or the taxes to discourage smoking would apply to them as well.I believe the details are being worked out somewhere and "big tobacco" will become "big vapor" the liberals will have won and the tax money will still be rolling in.Dave you are correct I believe in that nicotine will be closely metered out in the new products.As long as pipes and cigars get a free ride people can still find ways to harvest the nicotine and that I alluded to earlier will result in a bootleg society of underground activity.We are all just guessing and some of us are looking for wose case scenarios.So don't get mad ,keep it in perspective and do what you gotta do .
