  1. Sometimes if you get too much poly in the cart they won't work right.
  2. Its all goood .
  3. Stock batteries are not the end of the world.I have 5 801's and usually I only use two a day then I am wired to my passthrough in the evenings.I like the idea of having several power sources they all break eventually and it takes a while to get replacements or repairs.I have four box mods one pipe mod three passthroughs and five stock batteries .I find the stock batteries less cumbersome when I am out and about. But everyone is different, bottom line get what fits your budget and lifestyle.
  4. "The look of peoples faces when I walk into their house and get asked if I smoke. " trust me you don't have to ask.I didn't think I would an a**hole about smokers around me and I try not to be but it is kind of hard to be around the stale smoke smell, burning tobaco still smells kind of good to me though.
  5. I have a feeling vaping will become a cash cow for the politicians .I think they will latch onto the one carto = a pack of smokes and tax acordingly. The strength will also be regulated and I doubt you will get the strength most are acustomed to.State and federal goverenments are feeling the pain already as I think they finaly added one tax too many this last go around.
  6. I usually get about a week out of one and then it startd getting harsh.I am trying to use up the SLB carto's I got a couple weeks ago ,still have three more.I get a 10 ml bottles worth of use out of one.
  7. I think a lot of people are trying to be on board just in case.
  8. The VG I got from CVS in the skincare section said USP.USP = The United States Pharmacopeia (USP) is an official public standards-setting authority for all prescription and over-the counter medicines and other health ...
  9. Just curiouse ,what liquid are you using? Some seem to do in atties faster than others .The things that can make an attomiser quit producing are flooding very likely if you drip(blow through it backwards),bad connection (dirty ,contact pushed into atty )battery malfunction, carboned up ,and burnt out.I am of the opinion that a person should have two or three atties in play and another two three in reserve ,as it is a long sad wait for the mailman to bring you another .
  10. I hope in November we restore some checks and balances and its not too late.Nancy Pelosi has gots to go.
  11. He usually has some good info but if you don't pay attention you could end up in the woods of Washington state with a stash of MRE's and firearms. That is kind of what the video was seeming to suggest. The little thing I heard was convert your cash into gold and silver while the people who overpaid for those commodities try to recover thier money.I like watching how people react when the stock market was at its lowest the people I work with were freaking out and dumping the stock in the 403 accounts and locking in the losses instead of buying more while it was cheap. And when real estate was at record highs people were borrowing as much money as they could to buy it while it was overpriced and then when the prices dropped they either walked away or sold at a loss.
  12. Everyone has to find out what works for themselves I suppose.I still use carts @ 3.7 volts most of the time, the carto's don't do much for me ,and most of the time I too lazy to drip.I have some 801 atties that don't wick from carts very good I think they are the M series ,I drip with them just to use them up .I switched to 901's as my main sled for now as it is a safe bet they will be DSE.The 510 atties are a pain trying to make sure you get the real thing.
  13. Sounds a little like a Glenn Beck rant.I used to like Glenn but lately he has been a little on the "Alarmist" side.
  14. You put the sign in on the drop down but then it goes right back to the page instead of the forum. The page is nice and if I wasn't going to the forum I would spend more time looking at things and links on it.
  15. I would think it will get messier without the wick. The wick and the mesh bridge are what keeps the liquid in the vicinity of the element.Without them any liquid in excess of what it takes to dampen the element will run out somewhere. If you are getting liquid seepage I would say you are putting too much in at a time.
  16. That is the million dollar question, you have no way of knowing how long the batteries you buy have been sitting on someones shelf, and quality control on the batteries is not all that hot to start with. With adapters you can use the 901/KR808,510/510 carto's and 801 atties on the 801 batteries which is what I do .If you want ultimate battery life go for a mod type. They have thier drawbacks as well besides costing more up front.I have built 10440 and 18650 mods but I always end up going back to the DSE 801 batteries both auto and manual. The small momentary contact switches that are available do not work very good I have tried six different kinds and most of them were not that good ,you have to press hard and jiggle them to get contact. Some of the mods have mechanical switches which are a little better .
  17. Each has its place ,if you use carts and seldom drip the auto batteries can be a lot less hassle ,and if you are like me I can still push the rubber button under the edge of the case and get it stuck even after they made them taller. The auto batteries are usually less expensive at least for DSE 801's which is what I use.You also need the charging adapter for the DSE 801 manuals ,something else to keep track of.So I suppose you just have to decide which suits you best.
  18. ", what is "power gear?" Batteries, passthroughs and modsThere are so many different types of power and switches out there I go by the atty connecter.I use DSE 801 style power gear and I have adapters for DSE 901 and Joye 510 atties, which also cover Joye 510 cartomisers and KR808 cartomisers.
  19. The soft top ones have a removable rubber plug for easier filling /refilling.The hard top ones are prefilled and while they can be filled/refilled it requires a lot more effort.VaporTalks hardtop carto's also do not fit the 510 power gear I am not sure what they do fit beside "Vapor Talk classic kits". Don't you dislike it when you have to figure out what it is?
  20. Actually with the passthrough with the battery you are vaping off the battery power and the usb connection recharges the battery as needed hence the 3.7 volts the battery also reduces the amp draw so with it you cvan get away with using a less expensive adapter. So it will not work without the battery. You got a good enough usb adapter that you could run one without the battery if you like higher voltage.
  21. That is a common problem ,you should be able to wedge a paper clip or something similar into the opening (not tooo deep might knock the wire off the center connecter ) and jiggle the connector back down.
  22. I still use 801 batteries, but you are right those are the ones to consider buying and perhaps the KR808.All the rest are either compatible with those listed or ones that make you a slave to a single vendor.
  23. I would think it would be more of a battery issue. If you get the atty too hot the liquid will taste burnt .If you are dripping you will be cooling things down.I suppose if you use carts they will melt and get a crust that impedes the liquid transfer.
  24. There is Propylene Glychol antifreeze for cases where you don't want to contaminate something.Like water tanks in campers and heat exchangers that have consumables on one side.If you can return the Bloog I would as you paid way more than you needed to.A kit should be around $50.00 with no commitment to buy anything else.Check out the suppliers listed on this forum and you will see why we are all kind of amazed you are not just blown away by vaping. If the Bloog carto's are indeed KR808's I would recomend a DSE 901 as you can use your carto's on the 901 batteries.
  25. I would go for the ones from ElectroNicStix or the Boge ones from VaporKings the ones with the aluminum threads seem to be way better than the ones with the brass threads.I assumed just the opposite and boy was I let down,I thought the brass would conduct electricity better. It might have but the gudgeons were not built as good.
