Propylene glycol is an air germicide so, vaping is like the mouth, throat, nose, and lung equivalent of hand sanitizer. The second hand vape is probably sanitizing some of the outside air too. I used to get sick every time I came in contact with someone that was sick. Now , most of the time, I feel the beginning symptoms of a cold/flu and vape them away. That has never happened to me before. Even when I was a child before I smoked. The beginning symptoms always lead to full blown cold/flu but not since I started vaping. Also there is the not smoking thousands of carcinogens that helps boost my immune system. That's a huge part of it but I can definitely tell that I'm vaping away colds and the flu after I have caught them.

I've been bouncing around at different forums for other things that I'm also interested in. I like to come back here every once in a while to see the new inventions, see what big government is up to, and see how everyone is doing.

I would never recommend it either. When I did this I was only taking 2 or three puffs an hour and looking back at those days, even though it worked for me, I should have just vaped a medium nic level juice a little more frequently, like how I used to smoke.

I have one here and there. It is usually a social smoke. It is kind of nice knowing I can have one every once in a while without getting addicted. It feels like when an alcoholic is free of their addiction and can have a beer without ruining their life again. I used to feel guilty like I'm cheating or something because I would have thoughts like,"I'm not a smoker anymore. I'm a vaper. Smoking is bad. I'm not one of those people." but then I realized I was having a self righteous attitude just like the people that are trying to ban ecigs along with everything else.

You know one thing I noticed. Even though I'm now a none smoker, is just how appealing a pack of cigarettes is. Any time I go to a gas station to grab some soda etc I can't help but notice the wall of cigarettes. I'd never buy a pack and honestly I just don't crave them anymore, but there is something subtle and attractive about the art work. I can't help but think we're getting mind screwed every time we see a pack. I don't know if it's the colors or what, but I'm willing to bet there is some type of physiological research that goes into those boxes.

I remember you struggling with it so I'm glad to hear it's better for you now. I thought it could be a struggle for me after 34 years of smoking, but it just wasn't. I was one of the lucky ones, I guess. My addiction is to ecigs now, too, but it's a much more enjoyable addiction. LOL

It was a struggle for me at first but now my addiction has completely flipped to ecigs. I bum a smoke every once in a while but never been tempted to buy a pack. My rule for myself is to never buy a pack again.

I love it when I haven't been on for awhile and then get an email update to a link with good news. This is great news but I won't be completely happy until the FDA is out of business.

The Utah House Business and Labor Committee on Friday voted 10-4 against a
bill (HB 170) to ban the sales of most flavored smoke-free tobacco products,
which included smokeless tobacco and electronic cigarettes. The bill also
required that e-cigarette sales be made face-to-face.

Opponents of the bill said its passage would have been devastating for Utah's
former smokers who have switched to smoke-free alternatives, since these
consumers depend on the Internet for access to a variety of products,
including flavors that often make the products more appealing than
traditional cigarettes.

Among the staunchest opponents of the bill was the Consumer Advocates for
Smokefree Alternatives Association (CASAA), a national volunteer organization

sweet!!!! maybe instead of throwing out the last smoke get a marker and put the date on it!! be proud!! doctors say quitting smoking is the hardest drug to quit...i dunno about you but i found it to be quite easy!!! not spending money on cigs is great.

Well I started vaping earlier this month and I've been weaning off of analogs. The hardest part for me was the first thing in the morning smoke. I HATED the cig that I had this morning. I have 2 cigs left in my pack that I bought on Sunday (not bad for a pack a day smoker). Tonight I'm going to smoke one KNOWING it's the last one I'm going to smoke and going to throw the final cigarette away. I've been planning on quitting for months. Now that I found a juice flavor and strength that work for me, I know I can do this.

I'm already feeling better since I've cut back so much. And I'm looking forward to not needing to run out to a gas station or grocery store to pick up smokes. My soon to be wife enjoys kissing me more too. Hopefully it's not long before my asthma starts letting up some. Everything seems like it's going to be great from here on out.

I've been meditating on this a for while and have come up with a theory.

Oh no, It's not a nice one. I've seen those bouncers outside the door. Ive watched the foot traffic. I even tried getting in this morning and was told I haven't paid the man yet. So I know it can't be all nice nice in there.
I just haven't decided what the business is........Illegal gambling, orgies, booze, loud music, fight clubs, easy women, human trafficking, I just can't figure out your angle. However, I am certain that the cash is being used to cover up the fact your hiding Elvis.

Like I said, I did it too on one, and I am GLAD I got the "blow off" response right away because then I knew not to give out that info to anyone else. It was basically like, you aren't voting for me anyway, so I don't care about your opinion.

I gave my address and phone number ! Oh well I can't take it back. Plus I hope someone contacts me I have lots of family members who live in NY. I had 450 people at my wedding !

I have also contacted my cousin who is a union delegate in NY for Local 25 to inform him to help us out. I also sent him the letter that we all sent out. He will make sure the word gets out. I hope this helps out a Little.

Everyone should send the letter...regardless of where they live...what happens in one state adds fuel to the fire....NONE of these bans can be allowed to happen. IF they do then we MUST see to it that they are overturned. It will affect ALL of us eventually.

When I sent out over 100 emails last spring to all the reps and senators in IL, many of them emailed back asking for my physical address....DO NOT give it. I only did to one, and within an hour got an email back saying that I wasn't a constituent of whoever it was. SO I wrote back and said, fine, I hope he doesn't have aspirations of running for any statewide office because I will NOT forget his backing the bill. So with all the others I said I didn't find it necessary to give out that info. That I was a resident of IL and that is all that should matter.

So if asked to give your physical address, make up some reason, or simply state you don't give out that info when it is not necessary.

A nice letter was sent with my email with Name,address and phone number ! Thank You Chris for letting us all know about this.
