  1. I have been using one for a few days and it's been leaking terribly. I hope changing the wick assembly fixes this but I doubt it wil. I really want to like the T3's too :-/
  2. The CE4's and Vivi Nova are my go to tank systems. I use the Vivi Nova on my big mods and the CE4 on my Riva batteries at work. I'm tried others but nothing performs quite as well and I've NEVER had one leak that wasn't my fault.. I drop them quite often LOL.
  3. I went through something similar when I started. Sick, light headed, anything I ate or drank got me nauseous. It went away after a few hours though. I vaped to much and after research discovered I wasn't alone in having a mild nic OD. If you bought a high mg eliquid you may be going through the same thing. Either that or you have the flu that's going around.
  4. Just wondering what ever happened to the Boge Leo. I had one and I loved it even though the attys were proprietary they lasted forever. I bought a Leo to 510 adapter and my battery quit working shortly after. I did have it for about a year and used it heavily though.
  5. It looks like a cross between a Vamo and Evic. It mentions a 360° button which may be a dial type like the Evic. The only thing that bugs me is that it only mentions RMS mode, no mention of AVG.
  6. Yeah, it sucks but I guess I'll have to chalk it up as a loss and buy some more. What got me is how it burned out my other heads. I guess the posting was screwed up.
  7. Great set up. That's what I graduated to when I decided I wanted to upgrade. I got the Lava Tube V1 and had a great experience with it. A few months later I ordered a Vamo when it came out and after having variable wattage I'll never go back. Good luck with it, you won't be disappointed.
  8. Ahhhh.. Bobas Bounty.. The stuff of legends.. supposedly. I ordered it in 50/50 @ 18mg and 24mg. My initial reactions was that I hated it. I loaded up my Vivi Nova and a CE4 clearomizer to give it a fair shot. I vaped it for two days on my Riva with the CE4 @ 2.0 ohms while at work and on my Vamo with the Vivi Nova @ varying wattage's to try and find the sweet spot. After two days I still hated it... no throat hit from either strength, weak flavor but there was a lot of vapor production. I was perplexed.. I used it on and off for about a week and still hated it. I used it exclusively on NYE and was utterly bored with it. Then... last night I decided to try it again. I took out a 2.0 ohm atty, cleaned it put it on the Vamo @ 7W and loaded up a few drops. I took in a long hit and immediately knew what all the hype was about. The complex flavors came through the throat hit was smooth and strong @ 18mg and the vapor production was awesome. So here are my final thoughts...on a scale of 1-5 worst to best... Throat Hit- Smooth but definitely there, good and strong with out the scratchiness even at up to 8W --- 5 Vapor Production- Even @ 50/50 it's awesome. Clouds of thick vapor that tend to linger a bit--- 5 Flavor- It's hard to describe to say the least. Mildly sweet tobacco flavor with undertones of creamy chocolate and a VERY light nuttiness. I mean VERY light, it comes through on the exhale in a subtle way. I know I said 1-5 but I have to give flavor a 7.5 Now my next goal is to find a tank that this will be just as awesome on.
  9. I tend to agree with the loose theory about mgs of nic being equivalent to certain strengths of analogs. I used to smoke Camels and use a 24mg@ 50/50 mix and it satisfies me. Although as a new vapor you want to start on a lower end and work up until you reach your sweet spot. It's not all about being a dragon. Sure it looks good on a review video but it doesn't mean a thing if your not satisfied. So try different things and levels, you'll find something that suits you and your needs. It doesn't happen overnight though. It took me several months to find what worked for me and I'm still discovering things that I either don't like or make it even better. Bottom line is that it's all subjective.
  10. It's burning the wick up. They're 2.4 ohm heads on an eGo style battery so I know they're not overpowered.
  11. Yeah but why would it burn out new heads?
  12. I clean my connection religiously and the connector is fine. This is driving me nuts. I was thinking it may be the juice but I use the same stuff every day. It's my main vape and NEVER gave me issues before.
  13. Go with smoktek.com they received new springs for them and it fixes the issue 100%
  14. Third on the Vamo! After going VW I'll never go back.
  15. I love it! It's cost effective because you can change all the parts. I get a consistent hits and it works great on all my PV's.
  16. At work I use a Riva with a CE4 ego clearomizer and at home I use a Vamo with a Vivid Nova tank.
  17. Actually I spoke with Rob and smoktek received new, better springs. I received one and it solved to issue.
  18. It's a great backup but if you want an affordable Vv/VW get a Vamo from Smoktek.com or the Lecig VV (lavatube) I love them both but after going with VW I'll never go back to anything else.
  19. Is anyone else having a problem with CE4's burning out after only a few puffs? I use them on the same batteries (Riva... eGo clone) that I have since I started using them and this just started with the last two. I've used the same vendor that I bought my first ones from so they're always the same quality. I have noticed that the wick looks like a different material but when I changed heads it cooked it too.
  20. It sounds like just the bad egg in the bunch. I received mine love it. Rob helped me resolve the spring issue and it's even better now. Smoktek has great customer service so I'm sure he'll be able to help you.
  21. Seriously.. can I have it.. LOL At least tell me how you made it.
  22. I spoke with SmokTek customer support and asked what I could do to remedy the battery issue everyone seems to be having with the Vamo. They received a different spring from the manufacturer and I should be receiving mine in my order. He said the new springs fixed the issue with no other problems. I'll let you know when I posy my video review. SmokTek.con is all that!!!
