Awesome nana; thank you so much!

Tastes like chicken. (Hey that was my line! ... Righteous vid kitsune!)

Thanks Prof, always a pleasure to see you here.

Our tenant, Q, who lives upstairs, is a BBQ wizard. He did the ribs and they almost jumped into our mouth and melted. That cat is beyond human when it comes to meat, there is no doubt. So many of the family wanted to take home leftovers I finally had to lay down the law! I hope you all had a great weekend, and snubber -- you nailed it brother.

FTJoe? Pushing buttons? Tell me it isn't true! LOL! I dig all you folks' stories about your marriages. Jeanie and I are both fourth-timers too, and it's been dicey a few times. But when you're with the only person who can truly take your crap, you need to hang in there. Not that the grass doesn't often look greener... Maybe getting old has made me 'safe.' We've had a fantastic weekend so far, and it's still rolling. BBQ this afternoon and microbrew for desert. Umm!

Amen on that second tip Brian! Otherwise, blech!

Howdy! I use the condom method for filling cartos because it's faster and messier. Well, the 'messier' is not really a plus, but it is interactive. I find I can get about 1.5 ml in one fill, which lines up about right with Brian's 40 drops. For me though, a filled carto can last pretty much all through the work day, about 10 hrs. I don't vape as much as I used to, I guess because at 6V I get a satisfying enough hit that I'm not going after it non-stop, but I can say that when I'm hitting it harder, it does tend not to wick as fast as I'd like. By then though, I can get away with setting it down for a while. I think cartos are happier when they're fullest. It sounds to me Tek, like you might not be getting them full. If dripping, it should look pretty soaked when you stop filling it. I use Brian's condom filling method, which is to push liquid in until it squeezes out the top a bit then shake it down like a thermometer and go again. This is a good practice, the shaking down thing, and really helps to top it off. I'm not as concerned about seeing when It's full, as not being able to get anymore in is a decent suggestion of fullness in my book. Older cartos do seem to begin to lose volume after a while. I usually get 4 to 5 refills on one before its performance or flavor drops off. Then I just toss em. Hope this helps. Please ask any questions for clarification, as I just woke up and not exactly the sharpest tack in the box right now.

And there probably only is 'one' in that respect. But I wouldn't pass on any 'twos' in the interim! I hope you have a great holiday.

You bet Mr Big Jim -- it ain't a party without a few more! C'mon over, we'll make it a weekend for the books. Oh, you can bet on that! It was my brother's idea for a siblings bonding thing, but when my wife got wind of it we all jumped in the pool together. There will be pictures, and I'll be sure to post pics of the finished products. Today my sister and Jeanie decided to get the same tat, they're both going to wear the one Jeanie had picked out. You're gonna dig it. Congratulations to you Mr FTJoe! 26 years is something to crow about, and I do understand that. For us, it's not that we're so young, but that it took us a while to 'get it right.' If you catch my drift. And even at that, it's been a bit iffy more than a few times. Whoo! What a ride.

Big weekend here! My sister just got in, niece gets in at midnight. Tomorrow morning it's breakfast at the local diner, followed by a great cordite outing -- that is, throwing mass amounts of lead downrange. Then it'll be nap time until we take over the tattoo shop late afternoon. We're all getting tattoos; it'll be my wife's first and I really like what she's getting. This is also our 16th anniversary, which if you knew us you would call a freakin miracle. Then it'll be BBQ on the deck, and I have already stashed the microbrews recommended for my own amusement. Probably Sunday will be a little low key, at least compared to that... Most of our passed loved ones 'reside' in other cities but they will be remembered.

I think Burn would make a great guinea pig!

Um - nox, that's not just a ladies thing! I support kits too. That said, this thread has really helped me to understand the differences I've noted just pushing about in the dark. Thanks to all of you for a great thread.

Miss nana, I use these similarly (so far) to the more concentrated Lorann's flavorings, but they are not as concentrated. Thanks, for nothin, right? I know. It's just that I haven't much experience so far. But they are good, solid, tasty flavors, not a dilute like FF.

I received the tiramisu order from TW, and I have to say not only is the DV flavor outstanding but TW's service was way beyond expectations. Totally a fantastic experience on all counts.

Some of you will remember that I believe "Voltage Rules!" I do, and I practice what I preach, vaping 6V virtually full time. But that can be kind of a double edged sword with the liquid -- it can be pretty harsh and flavorless at high voltage. I've been mixing long enough now to be pretty sure that what I believe I've observed is true, so thought I'd share it with you. VG, and lots of flavor. There, that's it. Pretty simple, eh? To be a bit more precise, here's a typical HV mix. I vape 48mg, so I use quite a high proportion of 100mg base; the thing to remember is the overall percent of VG in the mix. Most flavoring is in PG, so we get plenty of that too. We end up with about equal amounts of VG and PG in the liquid. The mix that really works for me is 48% flavoring and 52% VG, either 100mg base or straight VG (well, my VG is cut with 20% distilled water to make it easier to manage). Use scubabatdan's calculator to get the amount of 100mg base you need for your strength and make up the balance with straight VG. I bought 100mg base in 100% VG from Levy while the pink nic was still available, but you can get 50/50 VG/PG base from MFS, which is an okay substitute. But really, all VG base is the way to go if you can find it. I get great TH with 6V, the VG mellows out the hit and gives great vapor, and the high proportion of flavoring really helps to deliver over the voltage. The downside to this of course, is that flavoring is expensive so your home-mix liquid will end up being almost as expensive as commercial liquid. But it'll work better, I promise you. A note about flavoring. I use highly concentrated flavoring, Lorann's or Flavour Art. Using the baking flavors may not deliver through the voltage as well. I'm not 100% on this yet; I do know that the commercial e-liquid flavorings I've used are not as strong as the highly concentrated candy flavorings, and that Fairy's Finest for example, was a bit weak in my mix. Just a thought, your experiences in this vein will be welcomed. Thanks for everything you all do for the community.

Nice review their SeanPatrick, don't ever apologize for that kind of info! That's what we have VT for, after all. Glad you got your issue resolved Jeanna -- vape on!

What Flavor Are You Vaping Right Now?
ddavelarsen replied to kitsune's topic in General Vaping Discussion
We have an old house with the biggest tub I've ever seen that's not a jacuzi - I take advantage of that all the time. But no oils for me! Just hot water and soap, that's good enough for my dry old skin. Vaping MFS double-strength Peach the last few hours. -
They Just Don't Make Em Like They Used To...

Aw, hell with it. I don't push it that hard anyway. I bet we have the most Lamborghini owners of any e-cig forum up there! -
Long live Texas! And .45 ACP!

I'm vaping 510 cartos at 6V and I'm so sold I can't even consider anything else. No kidding. With a heavy load of VG in the juice, I get fantastic TH, good flavor and a boatload of vapor. It's vaping heaven. I'm sure 5V would be okay too. Sorry you're losing the faith, but it'll be okay when you get to ... High Voltage! Voltage rules.

Excellent man! I'm glad it worked for you. I'm a total believer. I tried a LR 510 today at 3.7V and it just did not cut the mustard anymore. I think I know what I'm gonna be vaping until the next super-revolution occurs.

The batts in the second link are what I've been using for a couple of months in Woodimus. They're a tight fit in place of a 16850, but do fit. Hope that helps. Oh - and they do say Li-ion on the side too.

ROTFLMAO! Oh crapolihell... Dang man, don't do that I'm too old for this! ROTFLMAO some more... Oh, ouch... ouch... ohhh.... Okay.
