Yep, that's a big deal. Reading that I started to get a sense too why we haven't seen US-made attys. I wonder how broad the Ruyan patents are, and whether there's potential for US-based companies to begin some good development. This is what it will take to get our choice into the public eye, and suggests that the e-cig market is not going to get banned out of hand. Good stuff, nice to start the day on a positive footing. Thanks Chris.

Great pics Burn, very good comparison. Nice font too - looks kinda familiar... What's it called? I use one called Copperplate that's similar but heavier. I like this one a lot. I like the size and weight of my brother's. It's a good feel, fills my palm and the button placement is good. I would like a larger button though; have to focus on depressing that one. But it has a nice tactile feedback.

Amazing! Dang, I could no more put them out like that than the man in the moon. But I'm about to hit the range here in an hour or so, maybe I'll take a shot at it...

Looks like you're getting steered towards the eGo and I must say I concur. My son has one, and I really like it with a LR atty. Not so much with a regular atty. If you're looking for more kick, you will need to go low resistance with the eGo. So whenever you order, be sure to pick up five or ten LR 510s to go with it, and plenty of juice. If using a LR atty, my own recommendation, and this is not scientific, is to avoid dark liquids and favor the lighter ones. The LR attys in my experience can build up a pretty nasty taste every day that you will need to clean out somehow. I dry burn it out personally, but that probably has a longevity price. I haven't used a Joker but given the ambivalent response I'd also suggest looking elsewhere. My first mod was a VP2 also made by VaprLife, which failed after about five months of use. I expected it to last a lifetime, so I was disappointed. I've since learned that no mod is going to last a lifetime, except maybe the GG. But who can get their hands on one of those? Only a lucky and persistent few with a boatload of money. Don't concern yourself with trying to find that golden device; you'll replace your PV regularly just because the technology is improving so much if nothing else. Go with a proven unit now and start watching this forum for new stuff coming out all the time. And start saving your pennies for your next mod! Good luck and keep us posted what you decide.

Not to act like a fanboy Burn, but that is a wonderful review. Very carefully thought out and totally complete. Thanks! My brother just got this device and loves it as much as you do, though he hasn't been as descriptive in a week as you were in a few hours. Congratulations to Buzzkill for nailing the Buzz first time out!

I'm with noX, bust out the camera dude! This is a tat thread! And noXious, feel free to send that black widow to me, I'm not shy. Jeff, that's one awesome freakin tattoo man, but I'd sure like to see a bigger picture of it. I wonder what it is about the neck? My wife's first tat was on her neck and she cried like a baby -- and turned around and got another one. I noticed that when I lay my head down it hurts a lot more than when I'm holding my head up; I think it has to do with having something else to pay attention to. But remind me not to get anything on my neck anyway, okay? So far, none of mine are visible at work, which is probably a good policy for now.

I guess it's just the Polyanna in me but I'd like to think this is legit and that there's a good explanation for ... well. That there's a good explanation. I like sending stuff to our troops; a bunch of knife makers sent knives to one of our spec ops groups in Afghanistan a few years ago and that has been the highlight of my whole knifemaking career. You can see the story (wow, I really need to updte that; Wade sent me pics of the knife after several years of use and it's butt ugly now! Edit: Oh wait; I did on another page.God I'm getting old and lame.) at my little vanity website if you're interested. Anyway the reason I mention this is that we sent the knives to the group's CO at an APO address. I'd feel okay about this if we were sending vaping supplies to an APO address. At least we'd verify they're going to active soldiers that way. Just a thought.

Dueling Carl, Ha Ha Ha

We are so easily amused! Were we always such a cheap date? Probably so. I bet Jeff LHAO too, he just doesn't want anyone to know. You're totally transparent, dude! -
Wow, you get hangovers from Yoga too? Bummer!

My wife said to tell you that this makes her really sad. She was about to cry that someone would do this. She said some other stuff too, but I'll leave it at that.

Yep, that was it kitsune! Hence the 'fresh' photo. A lot of wonderful work occurred that night; five members of my family all got tats at the same time. That was cool, believe me. We took over the place.

... Do I hear a pin drop? ...

LOL! Ain't that the truth Jeff! Burn, how cool to hear my stupid, math error calculator drove some traffic to VT! That made my day. I hope no one used it though! Their mix would not have been what they thought it was. It's all better now though. I think.

I do add distilled water, 20%. Thanks for the flavor review!

Man that's a beautiful aircraft and a sweet field! You guys know how to do it. Me, I just fly in my neighborhood high school football field. Try not to put any divots in anyone's roof. Good flying!

Here's my other cave art tattoo -- my grandson's hand. People have been blowing paint over their hands in caves for over 20,000 years; I've done this all over town, why not on my calf too?

Most recent, kinda "fresh" in this pic. It's not bleeding anymore but still peeling... You can't see the whole thing from any one direction -- just like the picture in Lascaux that it's taken from. This is the Falling Horse, originally painted about 17,000 years ago. Edit: Jeez, sorry, guess I need to resize the pics!!!

That's a great vaper's tat! Way to go kitsune!

That's a nice one today O!

I corrected a math error in the calculator and it's now working properly. Sometimes I do things the hard way - which is okay I guess, except when it's the wrong way too. Anyway, feedback and requests welcomed. JuiceCalculator9.xls.zip JuiceCalculator9.xls.zip

Holy carp man, I can't wait to get home and watch these! I took a video of flying my living room heli up the stairs chasing the dog once... Another time I flew it up the stairs and scared my wife so bad she yelled at me for two days.

I've used TP to enhance some otherwise wimpy flavors with good success. One thing I noticed is that it takes it a couple of days to bloom into its full strength... So be careful!

Dissolve in everclear or high-test vodka. Put some crystals in the container you want to keep your liquid menthol in, and add a drop at a time to to the crystals. It's amazing how little PGA you need to dissolve them. I've tried dissolving in both VG and PG, and neither is a satisfactory solution. Just my experience.

For what it's worth Uma, I use a baby medicine syringe for almost all mixing now. it's incremented every .2 ml, which is generally close enough even for small batches - which I often just accumulate in the syringe. One downside is that its tip won't go far into small flavor bottles, so in that case I often put the flavoring or whatever in a bottlecap and suck it up from there. I do get some loss from not pouring it all back into its original container though, which is why dirpping small amts is often the way to go. Did I confuse this enough? I still like using the syringe because not all drops are created equal.

Excellent! I keep saying I have a lot of stuff but not enough, and you're the proof in the pie. Forty freakin flavors! I don't know where you'd get time to taste them all. How often do you change attys? How do you manage flavor bleed? Just curious, that's a bugger for me.
