Okay man, you're my hero for today! I don't stealth vape. There's nothing wrong with vaping at all, and I'm not going to let anyone intimidate me into thinking I'm some subhuman cur. That said, I don't flaunt it either. At work I vape normally at my desk; occassionally a fairly large cloud of vapor will rise above my cube and I think 'better tone that down!' And I do. Coworkers once asked what was going on and I explained and demonstrated (openly). They're thrilled, I've tried to quit smoking for as long as some of these folks have been alive! I sit about three workstations away from one of the VPs; he's never even noticed. I suppose when HR gets wind of this they'll try to crack down. I'm ready for them with my little CD packed full of anti-naysayer data. But if they do determine there's no vaping in the office, then I will comply. Or go stealth...

Hi John; I've been getting all of my juice from myfreedomsmokes.com. I'm just comparing prices, but "US made" is an important factor. I will follow up with Chris at freedom smokes to see if I can learn whether that's true for his. He might even have posted that in the site, I'll check. Thanks!

Okay nana, I'm not touching that one with a -- with anything!

Greetings. If someone has asked this before and I didn't find the thread, please forgive me. I'm looking for a source for quality 100mg liquid. My normal supplier does have it and I'll go with him if need be, but thought if there are others I might compare prices. Thanks for any ideas.

I guess I'd have to try the end button, but you make a convincing argument. Size does matter! and the slim Super Six is pretty sexy. Okay, I'll set my preconceptions aside for now, and hope I win a lottery real soon so I can just have everything I want!
-
I didn't connect the name with an image in my mind, but yeah, I've looked at that before. Its quality is obvious but I really can't see how you'd use it with one hand with the button on the end like that. And boy, that brass mouthpiece would smash my teeth the first bump I hit in the road! I think that's why the GG is appealing to me.

I haven't had anything melting with 801s - is that what you're having trouble with? I direct drip sometimes with an empty cart too, but also have tried cutting off the white part. The recent 801s I got from Arno have a soft tip, which is nice, and no white part; they're not carts, just a tip. Now I'm really curious about the sparking part!

That's a really good reason to get to 0 nic nana. Personally I don't know that I could stay off them. Probably not, death sentance or no. 0 nic? I don't see that in my future either, but you never know. That is a great video!

Not sure what battery you're using but at least if it's a protected battery you won't overcharge it. I'm sure someone who actually knows what they're talking about will step in momentarily though.

Yeah, but the Chuck doesn't look that cool or have a hundred-dollar auto feed option. It's way out of my price range, but if it lasts the rest of your life that might actually be pretty dang cheap. I'm sure going to keep it in the back of my mind. Maybe in a couple years I'll be bored enough with what I'm using I'll feel like taking the leap. Actually, the Chuck was about to be my 6V choice until the Joker came around. I like em both a lot.

Foolish me, this is the first I've read this thread - now I'm really psyched about that VP PT! Like dlynne, I'm probably going to have to buy a second one so I don't have to carry it between work and home - and maybe a third for the car? Once I get that Joker, what's going to become of my trusty VP2? Aw, that makes me feel sad. Maybe I'll start a personal museum of my all-time great mods. Surely it'll grow as good ole US innovation kicks in.
-
I've seriously considered stepping up to the GG just for the auto feed system. Plus it looks cool! But this is a serious amount of money for me, more than I can just throw around. I expect one of the US modders will come up with auto feed too eventually. That's when I'll jump in. It sure sounds great.

That's really a bummer. I'm sorry this has occurred; stuff like that can give vaping generally a bad vibe, not to mention you're out money which is unconscionable to me. I don't mean to state the obvious or anything but have you checked your junk email folder? I find that mail sometimes finds its way there that I've okayed in the past, and vice versa. Take care, and good luck in the future.

I agree. Here's what I started with and V4L is a great company generally. Vapor King Ultimate Manual Kit Be sure to leave a note on checkout with battery color and what flavor/strength of cartomizers you want. You might also wish to order additional cartomizers, as the five that come with the unit are probably good for two or three days' vaping max. When I was using it, I thought that generally I'd use 15-20 cartos a week, which would be pretty pricey (though still cheaper than analogs in this tax-you-blind state, and so much healthier!). I did learn to refill cartos and my wife still uses that unit occasionally. Good luck and hat's off to you! Edit: You know now that I look at that, my kit included a PCC, which this doesn't appear to anymore. You might want to add one to your order if your mom doesn't use a computer at work (I always used the passthrough so didn't need the PCC).

Good luck getting your mother switched wright306! I love it when vapers convert smokers to the good life. If she has a problem giving up the analogs, just send her here and we'll work on her.

Thanks arcangel! I'll see if I can take advantage of some of those in the future. -
Don't bring me down nana! Don't bring me down! Thanks dlynne. I've often thought I'd need two too. One thing at a time though. So cool that you turned your friend onto it! That's got to be the best feeling there is in a normal day's conversation. Way to go.

I hate to see people getting hurt innocently, but that was pretty funny!

Discount code? Uma said something about that too. Dang! I am so self-absorbed, I've probably cost myself a boatload of money. I sincerely hope I didn't blow off a discount code for my VP PT. But if I did, I'm happy to donate the proceeds to VT Store. I've sure made a bunch of mistakes. Had I found VT before I got started that list would be a lot shorter. Now I'll be scouring everything for discount codes! -
And that is absolutely mind-blowing service. I've been a Mac user for many years now and always said how excellent Apple CS is, at least in the local stores. But the vendors here make Apple look like a pantywaist. They could take notes and learn something.
-
Naw man; it was the ash tray. I'm too old for anything else. Uma said but apparently it didn't stick, which is very disappointing: "Wooohooo! Congrats Dave. Can't wait to hear your reviews on it too." Review?! Cripes, I didn't know I had to do a review. But I guess I can fawn all over it like everyone else when I get it. Now we're testing the postal service for delivery time. I'll certainly keep you posted. I'm expecting it Wednesday. That's my looking-forward-to day for this week!

Brian, I gave you another +1 on that one; you're racking them up tonight! I have to say, you're one of the good guys whose posts are not only positive but add value. And that was a very valuable post; thanks. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad I'm here too. -
Jeff you sure pegged it: Party animal = Me! In fact, hold on a sec while I go crack a cold one... Ahhh... Got my work done, at least as far as my little brain could get around it. Dang! It was hard leaving my office to go sit in another room to work -- with paper no less. I had a bunch of stuff I'd printed with all the data, and a pad of paper in a clipboard and my calculator. Cripes, writing with a pen on paper is really slow and cumbersome. (And really hard to decipher now.) Not to mention, this machine beeps every time email comes through, which was really quite distracting. But I am strong - not really a party animal at all but full of discipline and determination. Yep, that's me. Chris, that has to be the fastest shipping notification I've ever gotten from anyone, and since I've been ordering stuff from our fantastic suppliers I've had some of the best customer service in the world. All of the suppliers I've found here absolutely kick ... keester. I love these guys. High fives all around. But Chris, you get the gold star today. Thanks! I'm really looking forward to that VP PT. Next it's going to be a contest between the Joker and the Maserati. And maybe, the Silver Bullet, which I dig to the max. Since I'm on a VaprLife roll, it's going to be hard to think about anyone else's stuff, but I will be open-minded and analytical. (I can be objective too, as well as disciplined and determined. Really. ) However, if it's going to be a lot later, the Maserati might lose simply because I might become a voltage nut as well as a nic fiend, and I admit patience is not my strongest suit. At least when it comes to acquiring neat new stuff. Nana, it'd be really cool if the higher voltage helped me reduce the nic level. It'd sure open up a few more suppliers. When I started I was using a KR808 PT at work with 36mg juice, and now that I think about it, I do feel like that was working okay. That might really be the ticket! How cool would that be?! BirdDog, you must have learned to type with one hand! Now I know why you drop away once in a while; it's because you're busy with both hands vaping. I get it. How do you get it into the bedroom at night though? Oh - I just remembered, it has an electric outlet adaptor. Boy, that's going to be cool. I did order a cig lighter USB outlet so I can use the PT during my commute. Which reminds me of a funny story. I bought my car almost exactly two years ago. The day I took the test drive was a light ice storm, and with the salesman in the car and all, and me really trying to pay attention to the car, I didn't smoke. So when I picked up the car the next day and headed back to work, I noticed -- NO FREAKIN ASH TRAY! I almost turned around to take the car back. Who the hell would build a car with no freakin ash tray?!!! (VW, and, obviously, Buick.) Anyway, it took several months before I found a suitable aftermarket ashtray for the car, but not before burning a divot in the floor mat and getting ashes all over the inside of the car when they blew back in the window. But check this out! -- I got to take the ash tray out of my car! And it doesn't smell like scorched underwear anymore! And I can leave the windows up while I'm driving, and the tunes sound outrageous! Wow, vaping is all good, no downside. I dig it.

Well, I finally did it. Christopher's note about the VT store being closed pushed me over the edge: Ordered my VP PT and some 510s. So okay, you folks better get ready - once I have a valid opinion on 510 vs 801 I'm going to be all over the place with it. And I can't wait to get my arms around that PT! But I better get to work. Been procrastinating all weekend on getting my pricing model done. Meeting tomorrow morning with my boss and Tuesday morning with the VPs to sign off on it. So - sigh - I guess I better get away from my computer and get some work done... See you 'round.

I agree, but BirdDog's been beating me to the punch all afternoon. That said, I usually tell people it'll cost about $200 to get "set up" for vaping, but that doesn't all have to come in the first order. You will want to stock up on parts and juice, but particularly for juice you'll want to try smaller samples while you determine what you really like and what's the appropriate strength for you. I'd suggest that you steer away from the cheapest juice. This is something you're ingesting, and like most everything else you tend to get what you pay for. But if you order from the suppliers recommended here, you will be fine. Finally, I too find you an amazingly courageous woman. Faith sustains us a lot, but it's not the only thing that gets one through the hellish times. I'll remember your story the rest of my life, and it will remind me that we can survive much more than we often think we can. Thank you.
