  1. Well, it's not particularly uncommon for folks to have an atty last much longer than that. But keep in mind this equipment was designed with quitting smoking in mind, and not intended to last indefinitely. Hopefully some good old US innovation will remedy that state of affairs at some point and create longer-lasting attys. But currently, they tend to not last much longer than that. Even if you replaced your atty every month, it's still not at all expensive compared to smoking. Just a thought. I've never actually had one die on me yet.
  2. Excellent! I'll be looking forward to both your reviews.
  3. Another sweet review Prof! I need to find more of your carefully thought-out reviews, they're very helpful. Went over to Liberty Flights but alas their highest strength is 24mg. I noticed with happiness that they have the Flavor Art flavorings in stock now, so will be following that up. But again alas, no clove. Sigh.
  4. Well, that's more than a casual drive but not impossible... I think it'd be great to meet some other vapers in person one day. If you ever make it to DM, let me know before you leave and if you have time I'll buy you lunch. How 'bout it Jeri? Maybe we could all have the Great Midwest Vape In some day...
  5. Thanks Prof, that's a great review. A couple questions - is the Titan atty the 510? And where does one acquire them? I like the sound of the massive throat hit; that's what I'm still looking for. I get it once in a while with my 801s, but not consistently. My other question has to do with process. Did you have to take a break between attys? Or did you go directly from one to the next? Presumably the same juice for all of them? Given a freshly charged battery, I'm sure there would be equal power even if you ran one after the next, but did you use a fresh battery for each one? I'm just curious; this is the kind of test that really interests me. Thanks! (I guess that's more than a couple of questions. )
  6. Why didn't I think of that? I love this forum!
  7. I hear you man, but if you knew how much I smoked you'd turn green around the gills, I promise. I smoked a lot. All I could bear to; and I'd have smoked more if my lungs could 'hack' it... I'm just thankful I found a way to make this work for me.
  8. That's not fair! How do I know?! For the last two days it's been Mango exclusively; this morning I mistakenly only brought one bottle to work and that is Watermelon. I really mostly vape the fruits these days; 555 is a less common vape but it's a treat. I'd like to find a really solid Clove, and when I get mixing I'm going for a hot Cinnamon... There's just no end to it! Which is one of the really cool things about vaping.
  9. Do you live in Iowa? If so, close enough to DM to compare notes some time?
  10. Thanks Christopher, I was waiting for you to step in on this one, and you cleared something up for me too. I'm all set for that VP PT with Arno's 302s - which I bet will get here today. Edit - I mean to say, I bet the PT will get here today!
  11. Okay, I got the camera out last evening and just had to do this - for my own vaping history if nothing else. No big deal, just playing around. This is my regular rotation these days. I suppose it'll change eventually, but it's working so far. I'm fruity! -- In a manly way...
  12. Thank You nana! You made my day and it's barely begun. I'm really glad you're here; you're one of the reasons I am. Dave Edit: Oh - And Congratulations!!!
  13. Steppin up like a man, good for you. That's not the easiest thing to do. I don't know the story either, but if you ever care to get rowdy PM me; we'll have a ball.
  14. Welcome Dajamster - you found a great place. Direct dripping is where we'll all end up eventually, I'm convinced. I'm a bit OCD sometimes, so always count drops. I found it took about 20+ drops to completely fill an 801 cart. Had to let it absorb there for a while after 15 to get the rest in. Then I'd top off 3 or 4 drops every few drags and usually put one on the atty for 'good measure.' Which of course, led to direct dripping. It always killed me to rinse out all that good juice whenever I'd clean a cart (which most people don't do, they just toss em - with a bunch of perfectly fine juice in them!), which also suggested direct dripping. I've had attys that leaked, and some left a wet spot in my shirt pocket. It washes out fine, but made me feel rather too conspicuous. And I hate wasting juice. Did I mention that? Seems like there was something else I was going to add, but my frail mind has dropped the ball yet again. Have fun, and welcome to the bright side!
  15. I think a GG with its AFS is in my distant future. I don't get too many road trips anymore, but that's the only way I'd be able to drive very far. While they're pricey, it might be worthwhile to pursue. They have a presence on ECF, if that helps. Please keep us posted if/when you find something!
  16. I'll second that. Don't know how much you smoked, but I had to get up to 48mg before I got comfortable. Not recommended but that works for me.
  17. I'll keep watching this too. The only clove I've found to try wasn't at all satisfying. Looking for a clove flavoring that's not oil...
  18. What a trip, I know exactly the guys you're talking about! I've talked to a few smokers about vaping and gotten a similar brush-off. Their loss, but perhaps one day they'll remember and come to ask about it or do some of their own research. I hope so. There's a lot of truth in that saying, "You can't push a rope." OT - My first good-paying job was on a natural gas pipeline in Hugoton, KS. Those were sure the days!
  19. Ah well, the wait will pass and you'll be happily vaping before you know it. Good choices!
  20. I did that too! I would have been squirming in my seat if it weren't for vaping, because no way could I have left the theater. I would probably have hotboxed an analog in the bathroom if nothing else. But I didn't have to! Cool. No one cares if you're vaping. If they do, they need a life of their own. kitsune, I'm totally with you there. I've had bosses like that. Best to act like a perfect angel. Imax Avatar! Wow!
  21. Looks like ENS is quite a bit cheaper than freedom smokes, so that's where I'll go next order. Thanks John!
  22. That is fantastic news! Staying away from the analogs is a big thing for anyone. I think it's really cool that you're trying all the attys; you'll have to give us a head-to-head review when you feel like you have it nailed down. I'm really curious about that only having used the LB 801s so far. This forum is so filled with great people and great information it just blows my mind.
  23. Oh, that's a crying shame. I truly do feel for you!
  24. Hey SmokingMan, glad to hear you again even if you are P-Oed! With good reason, too. I wonder if your provider is throttling users because of high bandwidth use? You been downloading a bunch of movies? Just kidding! Sorry to hear you're having trouble; there's hardly anything more frustrating. I hear you!
