  1. Hey Mike, Liberty Flights has Flavour Art tobacco flavoring: Flavour Art at Liberty Flights Looks like some of the more interesting ones are sold out, but still...
  2. Yeah, these guys all got it right. SmokinHammer said everyone's different and I'm about to prove it: I like the fruity stuff more often, and fall back on my fave tobacco 555 every so often. But there's a lot I haven't tried yet. You can often find your preferred flavor with more concentrations of VG at different vendors. One that comes to mind is myfreedomsmokes.com, who will mix VG to your specs. But there are others, I just don't recall them offhand. Half the fun is shopping around. Good luck and have fun!
  3. I wonder who wrote that article? In any event, it's quoting the FDA as saying, "yes they do deliver nicotine!" It's countering Dr Eisenwanker's study to the contrary. But why? I don't see where they're going with that.
  4. I can really see this being valuable from a military perspective - healthy, no light, no fire and no smell. I was in the infantry and two things that will get you killed are the flare of a match or lighter or the coal on an analog, or its smell. The enemy can smell an analog burning a mile away ... sneak up on your position without you ever knowing they know you're there. I wish them all the luck! They're sure going to have to come up with some serious batteries though.
  5. Great choice and great reasons for it Knight! I'm really looking forward to your review...
  6. Hi Uma! I'll keep is short and just say, "Cool!" And I promise not to worry about your long absences. The image of you hunkered down reading a good book will sustain us all.
  7. Thanks Mike! I'll give the VG idea a try. Maybe to get more intense flavor, just use the VG that squeezes out of the tea bag... I vape mostly fruity stuff, and once in a while come back to my fave 555 for a change. I love that stuff! Maybe adding a bit of nutty flavor to the tobacco extract would get close. So many experiments, so little time!
  8. Schizo! Another Firefly brother! Had you seen it before? Have you seen Serenity? I'm sure one could make holes in anything. Well, pretty much anything. Edit: Oh, tell your lady Happy Birthday from Vapor Talk!
  9. This would be the perfect opportunity to use the Multiquote thing - except I don't know how to use it. (I've tried everything I could ever think of. I'm sure it's just me being old or something.) So this is addressed to all you "I-only-like-silver" folks: Not Me! Here I go being odd man out again. I love gold! Gold is warm - it's the color of the sun, and honey. Honey is special - it has many wonderful applications! (Yummy!) Gold connotes quality and wealth, and leisure. If I could, I'd accessorize in gold as often as silver - and I love silver too. (And platinum. Even nickel.) Ah, but Gold! No metal is as sensual as gold. Gold color invokes warmth, and laziness. Gold-band attys must by association be leisurely! And of utmost quality! Yes? Sure! All that said, I'd still prefer to buy attys that had a silver band, only because my VP2 and any future mod I might buy are going to be the color of their metal: silver. No matter what, I do have a sense of esthetics! You'll never find me combining plaids and stripes! At least, not blue plaids and green stripes... Or a gold-band atty on my VP2. Well, unless it's the best atty out there. I will clash for quality. he he!
  10. Wow, you work late! You can do a poll from inside a new topic. Click the "manage poll" button and you're good to go. Have fun!
  11. Agreed. I've gotten as much as 25 drops in when refilling cartomizers; surely depends how dry they are when starting. If they're blank I could imagine they'd hold even more than that. I've never filled a blank, only refilled pre-fills. But I have some that have been refilled as many as five times that still give plenty of flavorful vapor. I liked them on the PT too.
  12. Can someone suggest where to buy tobacco flavorings? Can't remember having seen them anywhere... Thanks!
  13. Brian I'm really looking forward to your followup. You may have saved us all a lot of frustration. Thanks.
  14. You're probably just avoiding the meaning buddy, but I was suggesting you up that level for a bit! Grump old man - well, you don't have to be old to run that trick; just watch Schizo for a while! Personally I'm cheery all the time. Heh. And Schizo, you are right. I don't think anyone in Washington is independent in any freakin way. It's a web of obligation and ownership, not a government.
  15. Well, it looks like I'm adding the GLV to my list of possibles. Thanks luck! I dig Grimm Green's reviews, the guy has so much good energy he makes me smile. Schizo I missed you! Good to see you're back. You have a good point, any device needs vent holes - and good ones that point away from all your parts!
  16. Yeah! We bad, we bad... Brian's right, time to take the fight to the UK. They won't know what hit em...
  17. Congratulatons! Waiting is a bear, but the reward is often sublime. Like everyone else I'm looking forward to your review. Vape on!
  18. For what it's worth, the issue I found this morning with the calculator only seems to be related to Open Office. I'll see if what I did this morning fixes that when I get home. Now I know why M$ has such an awful rep! Well, I've experienced part of the reason anyway.
  19. You got it DV. Our prayers coming to your father and all your family. Hang in there.
  20. Thanks jm, I've looked at those too. Have you heard anything about the Prodigy's button issues having been resolved? Seems like I did hear that but ... with my little mind I'm never sure of anything. I like the chuck and it's been on my favorites list for a long time (in vape years) but that little button sticking up like that just concerns me. I know how I am with me and my pockets. Still, it's a contender. Ray, I think the paint solution isn't paint, but powder coating. I think that's what Thag does with the chuck, and powder coating is a very hardy finish. I wouldn't have a PV that was "painted" with anything but that. Just my opinion. I really like the Super Six too; it's probably my first choice right now but boy it's pricey. When I start thinking about that much money, then the GG and an AFS come to mind. For just another hundred bucks (!) you could have the ultimate ultimate mod. I think Super Six probably has the most fool-proof design of any I've seen though. I like it. The only thing is I don't know how much I'd like the button on the end like that. It all depends I guess on how much pressure it takes to depress it. If not much, then I'd have to worry about it going off in my shirt pocket; if too much then I'd get tired of pressing it with the side of my finger. Sigh. This is good stuff. I know there's no way I'll ever figure out which one 5/6V mod would be perfect for me. But surely there is one! Surely. Well, I'll keep saving my coins. Thanks! Please keep the ideas coming folks.
  21. I'm told that a number of replies to the article have been removed. Apparently CNN can't handle criticism...
  22. Hm. More development in store, I can see. This is butt-ugly in Open Office! Wish I could deal with this in all apps simultaneously... Also, looks like I have a calculation error; probably from my "bug fix." Cripes, this will end! I promise. But it's proof you cannot test too much. Sheesh. At least it gives me something fun to look forward to at work today...
  23. Yeah, and think: If the naysayers have their way we can all go back to analogs and die real ugly! I'm sure they'd all feel quite superior, knowing we could have "just quit" like they did. Their problem ain't a tobacco thing, or even nicotine; it's all about addiction. They just give themselves a righteous pass calling it by another name. Your earlier point about our excellent nervous systems giving us a natural tendency to addiction is right on. Judgmental people need lives of their own - but they're too "pure" to have them.
