If you're getting juice out of the cartomizer it sounds like you may have filled it up too much or you're just sucking to hard. If the clearomizer worked better for you i would stick with that.

I did see that VaporAlley offers an adapter to be able to use 510/eGo stuff on it. You can pick up the adapter so everything isnt a total loss.

The lower the ohm number the hotter the vape. I would use the 1.8 ohm head on a standard ego batt

The 2.4 will perform OK on your eGo batt. It will work even better if you have a eGo Twist or Vision Spinner so you can bump up the voltage a little bit.
