Its the overall resistance thats the issue. A dual coil with an overall resitance of 1.3ohm is not equal to an single coil at 2.6 ohm. When you order a dual coil they are listed by the overall ohm not the ohm rating of each individual coil.

I dont think the vendor is shady. I dont see how they would benefit from sending you the wrong ohm clearos. They could have ordered 2.4 ohms from the factory and got 2 ohm instead.

I used to use the Vision clearos and I switched to the EVOD because of the very issues you describe. The nice thing about the EVOD is that the coils are at the bottom of the tank, so wicking isnt an issue. I believe others here have a low opinion of Vision clearos also.

What clearos are you using?

All things being equal I would think a 1.3 ohm dual coil would drain a batt twice as fast as a 2.6 ohm coil

My 1300 mah Spinner lasts me 10 hours

Those stick batts may last 1.5 hours before you need to recharge. I assume your friends are recommending it because they are friends with the owner. How much did you smoke before? Im vaping pretty much all day and I would need quite a few batts to get me through the day. The best advice is up above regarding getting the eGo kit.

The telescoping feature allows you to use an 18650 which provides longer vaping time. From all the reviews Ive seen, Sigelei seems to come out on top.

I looked at a video and few pics on different sites. It appears the KPT2 does not come with the collar.

You can get a regular volt/ohm meter at radio shack/ sears or online to check the resitance of your cartos/clearos.

Yeah Ive heard from others that the Boge cartos arent what they used to be. I use an EVOD at work all day and love it. You may want to give something like that a try.
