Dear OP, Since you've been vaping over the last 4 years, what other batts, attys cartos have you tried? Has anything worked well for you?

I had the same experience with the CE clearos. I highly recommend you try out a EVOD on your Spinner. I use it all day at work and never get a burnt taste. I usually use a 70/30 mix in my EVOD. I do realize that the EVOD uses the same coils as what you put in your KPT, however I can only comment on my experience which has yielded great results. http://www.theveteranvaper.com/evod-mt-bcc-metal-bottom-coil-changeable/ ps.... When buying ego type batteries I recommend only buying genuine Joyetech or Vision batts. They both are made with over charging and short circuit protection in the battery. I read through a few of the exploding battery stories and it appears they were using off brands. eta...... beware my opinion is biased

The fire button on the MVP2 is an improvement over the MVP1 that's for sure.

I usually vape at 4 volts with a 2ish ohm Evod. eta i say 2ish because some of the coils in the package have read 1.8

Ive never heard of an ego batt exploding with a nano attached.

I vape at 8 watts all day every day on my eGo

The coil is the only part that can fail aside from damage due to dropping etc... Ive been using the same EVOD ( not coil) for months now.

Could be the alignment of the threads. maybe the one base holds the coil up just high enough to where it doesnt make contact with the battery post.

The base doesnt fail, its the coil that screws into the base that fails.

I played with the MVP2 this weekend at a local BM. I did not like the fire button. It took too much effort to push.
