  1. There is an e-cig convention coming up in 2010. It's not a VT convention though. I'm sure Chris has the info on it. I think its in Virginia?
  2. Good idea Speak. I don't know if a convention is the right word. Maybe a VT Members weekend away or something like that. i don't think there has to be a set agenda, maybe just hanging out and having fun. the hard part is we have members all over. I always thought Vegas would be a fun location.
  3. I agree. From my first day I have felt welcome here. Like others on here, I haven't been much of a forum person. This is the first forum I've belonged to where I actually feel part of the family. You all have made my vaping experience so much fun. I needed that! I want to pay it forward to new members that come along.
  4. OMG that story and the posts following it are too funny. Thanks for making me laugh today!!!
  5. Thats pretty cool to have a store so accessible. Sorry off topic...... Yeah those viles are a cool idea. :P
  6. The green monster rears its ugly head. LOL
  7. Ok, I tried all the BestECiggy samples last night while chatting with Speakeasy,KMGirl,Ofortuna,Jeffrey,StevenP,Christopher,Silent etc..... in the chat room. It was a busy night there. First of all they produce an excellent amount of vapor but not a real thick vapor. 8 out 0f 10 were flavorless. The watermelon was actually pretty good. The root beer tasted like how fireworks smell.
  8. Its Ok LostFayth. Don't be so hard on yourself. Most suppliers on here can have you a 510 in a couple of days. So do you need the money from the Blu to get the 510?
  9. Anti**** (fill in the blank with your group of choice) advocates need something to oppose. That is their reason for existence. The antismoking groups have done a good job, and rightfully so, in informing the public on the hazards of smoking. Now they are on to the next product to oppose. It seems their main concern is the nicotine. This is a valid concern since you can die from an overdose of nicotine. But someone would have to intentionally consume mass quantities to od. I believe a middle ground has to be reached. Right now the pro-ecig groups and the anti-ecig groups are circling their wagons and getting ready for a fight. But I believe there is some common ground that both groups should come together on. In my mind they are: 1.) Restrict the age to purchase e-cig products to 18 years old and above 2.) Verification that products are not hazardous The knee jerk reaction from the FDA, legislators and antismoking groups is just to ban them altogether. The obvious reaction from us is "keep your hands off my e-cigs" My e-cig is part of my life now, and the thought of someone wanting to take away something I derive pleasure from, makes me both mad & scared. I get scared because I don't wanna go back to analogs. If e-cig products are banned I will have no choice. I think everyone needs to step back and take a breath and keep an open mind. It's easy for these groups to oppose the big companies that make e-cigs. There's no emotional connection involved. I believe thats where we come in as your average citizen. We put an actual face to the e-cig community. We are the ambassadors.
  10. Welcome TheLostFayth! You have already been given great advice so I won't add to that. Just wanted to welcome you to the forum.
  11. I don't think the "fake cigarette" comment would offend me. I would take exception to the " you smoke it to try and look cool" statement. Thats just down right ignorant. I think the last time I thought I looked cool smoking I was 13 years old.
  12. You are too funny Speak. Thanks for making me laugh first thing in the morning.
  13. Fatalis, well you picked two very different units. It all depends what you're looking for. The Spade is stylish and lightweight. The Chuck is pretty basic style wise, but there are people out there that do fancy graphics for the unit. The Chuck has the option of running at 3.7 or 6 volts while the Spade is solely 3.7 volts. You can't go wrong with either unit, it comes down to what you're looking for. There is a review of the Chuck in the video review section of the forum. Let us know what you decide.
  14. Good question jj. I haven't thought of a resolution to break for this next year. I am going to make it a goal to reduce my nicotine level. I am currently using 16mg for the most part. I still have some 24mg and I cant just let that go to waste LOL. I don't know if vaping is a vice, but my love for Dulcis is sinful.
  15. Sounds like your speaking from experience.
  16. I did find a couple of short reviews by DoctorVape (CNubel): 1. Nhale-Xhale Sleepy Time Green Tea Lung Juice. The flavor is just not to my liking. I found it dry with a bad flavor. 2. Nhale-Xhale Watermelon Lung Juice More of an earthy flavor rather than watermelon. Once again, I couldnt really vape either of the Nhale-Xhale lung juices. They just didnt taste right.
  17. And that crap is approved by the FDA???????????? I would rather smoke than have any of those side effects. The only side effect I've had from vaping is a large ass from sitting in front of the computer and posting on VT all day LOL.

Hi BMW & welcome. I can relate to the "enjoying smoking" part of your post. I felt the same way. I know others on here do to. I can honestly say now that I enjoy vaping more. Hope you have a Merry Christmas.
  21. Merry Christmas Shel! I'm glad the 510 is working for you.
