Moved to Noobie Questions & Help. I was just like you Newbie when I started. The tobacco flavs just didn't cut it for me. It wasn't until recently that I've been using tobacco flavs more than the others. Its nice to have a variety now of fruity flavs and tobacco.

Good question Newbie. If we classify it as a smoking cessation device, it falls under the FDA's jurisdiction. That is why vaping is refered to as a smoking alternative. I know it seems like semantics but its an important distinction.

Well he could buy (2) 510 starter kits, but the (4) 510 batts still wouldn't last as long as 1 of the eGo batts. The eGo does come with 2 batts so that's over 20 hours of worry free vaping as opposed to maybe the 6 hours you would get out of 4 510 batts. The original question was "is it worth the extra 40 or 50 bucks?" Speaking as someone who has both units, I say yes without a doubt it's worth it.

I agree with The Green. If an extra $40 isn't an issue I would recommend the eGo/Tornado. Don't forget to buy some juice also.

Excellent points Jot. I really don't watch too many juice reviews just for the simple fact that taste is so subjective. When reviewers use the number scale it doesn't help me at all. A 5 to someone else may be a 9 to me.

I completely understand about not wanting to get some juice you will end up not using. Maybe you should get some 6mg juice. If you find its not enough, you can always vape more of it to get the nic your body is craving. There is a learning curve up front with vaping. You will find what works best for you.

Hi ponyboy, Its always good to listen to your body. If you're getting headaches thats a good sign you're getting too much nic. How much did you smoke before? You may wanna drop down to 10mg or even 6mg but that's gonna be up to how much you vape and how your body reacts to the nic.

Hey Horanld. I think you have a legit beef with both issues. I definately would be unhappy if I bought an atomoizer or a complete 510 kit that was advertised as Joye, only to find out it was a DSE510. No matter how you look at it, it is false advertising. So my advice is to contact them and make them resolve the issue. I would also contact the supplier you bought the eGo from and inquire about the Tawa atty. Good luck.

It seems that because of the FDA battle, we have pushed to have e-cigs classified as a tobacco product so the FDA wouldn't regulate them. We obviously don't want them classified as a drug delivery device. Maybe e-cigs need their own classification?

Thanks BirdDog for posting this. After reading through all the posts the OP admits to using unprotected batts which he did not know were unprotected. It also appears he was charging batts that were not rechargeable. I think the more we get info out there to people the better.

I've had my Black Silver Bullet for a week now. I'm still abusing it so I can do a good review later. I've really only been using it at 6 volts. Let me tell you I'm very impressed with the unit. I'm going to be trying it at 3.7 v this week to see how it does.
