Wow Jenn I'm glad you are on our side. You've become well informed in such a short amount of time. The vaping community can always use more members that are willing to stand up and fight for our rights.

I find I lose the ability to tastes flavors the more I vape during the day. If I have vaped a lot during the day, I find my tongue is almost numb to flavors, unless its a good strong flavor.

Apathy, Since nicotine is a stimulant, I assume it stimulates all parts of our body. That being said you may want to see a Dr. or include bran in your diet. Ps... I would have moved this to the Health & Safety Forum but since you only have 4 posts, I will leave it here so you can reply if need be.

I had some time to waste this AM so I googled "e-cig mod parts". After looking at a few sites, I agree with Brian, Madvapes seems to have the biggest selection out there.

Have you tried all 20 attys you bought from TW?

I recently purchased a couple of low ohm attys from Totally Wicked. They both have a very tight draw to me. Almost to the point of having to inhale too hard. I have other low ohm attys from Nhaler and the draw on those is much looser. I would like to hear from others that bought the TW attys and see if its common for the TW attys to have a very tight draw.

I have never liked the flavor of the pre-filled cartridges. I have a friend who just started vaping and she loves the pre-filled carts. It's a personal preference. You won't be able to find a juice that has the exact same flavor as a Marlboro, but there are some very good tobacco flavored e-juices out there. Part of the fun with vaping is trying out new juices.

The 306 doesn't compare to the carto when it comes to longevity. I have taken my 510 carto to work and its lasted me all day with consistent vapor. There is no way my 306 would last that long without filling a few times. That being said, I do like my 306 for dripping, it produces some good vapor. Since it has an exposed atty, I have to be more careful when dripping.

Hi ggringa, I know it can be frustrating if your e-cig isn't producing like you want it to. It still happens to me at times. The advice that helped me out the most when I first started was to not vape the e-cig like I used to smoke a cigarette. Take long slow drags, kinda like sipping a milk shake through a straw. I f you are taking a lot of quick drags the atty will heat up fast. Are you using the pre-filled cartridges? Is it just the amount of vapor that's lacking, or do you not get a throat hit also? If you could give us more info we might be able to help out further.

Most likely it is the turns in the atty coil. More turns = more resistance, less turns = less resistance. Remeber its all about the watts. More wattage = more heat, much like a light bulb. The equation for determining watts is W=E2/R ( W=watts, E=volts, R=Ohms) so the lower the resistance (ohms) the higher the wattage.

They are manufactured by 2 different companies. Joye makes the Joye 510 and I believe Dekang makes the Expert 510. I have not used the Expert 510 so I don't know how it compares to the Joye 510's.

I just received Apple Blast 18mg from Alexander over at electrojuice.com. I wasn't expecting much, since every apple flavored e-juice that I've tried had very little flavor. Let me tell you this is the best apple flavored juice I've had!! The taste is awesome. I tried it at 3.7 & 6 volts. I liked it better at 3.7. The flavor really came alive at that voltage. It reminds me of a green apple Jolly Rancher. If you like fruity juices, definately give this Apple Blast a try.

My wife and I both smoked. She was introduced to vaping by some friends of hers. I thought it was a stupid fad and didn't want anything to do with it. When the cig taxes were increased out here in CA, I decided to give vaping a try. That was almost 6 months ago and I haven't had a analog since. Its very cool now that we both enjoy vaping so much. Well, its cool until she jacks all my stuff. She isn't on the forum too much, so I give her a daily update about the happenings here. You may have to break it up into 2 different posts. I also suggest you keep the review of the juices to 3 sentances max per flavor. When I come across a really long post I usually just skim through it anyways.

Yes that has happened to me when vaping at 6 volts and to lesser extent with the LR attys. I call it "backfiring". I basically get a quick burst of air shot into my mouth. It did freak me out at first. Now it still startles me, but I just keep vaping. I assume it happens as a result of the atty getting hot. I don't know what exactly happens to cause it.
