The adapter that Luke carries is the correct one. You want it long so that it sticks out of the V3. If it was too short you wouldn't be able to screw it on. Yes cartomizers will work on it.

I have a couple of V3's and honestlty they are my least favorite unit. I have tried the 801 & the 510 on it. I would recommend the eGo. It is a great unit and you will find numerous posts on here from other eGo users that love it. keep us posted on what you decide to get.

Sorry about your mishap but it is good to hear it withstood that abuse. I have dropped my eGo numerous times. 1 time it landed right on the atty and the atty broke but the eGo remained intact.

Yes LR attys will work in the Stick. You will need an adapter to use the 510 LR atty or you can use a 810 LR atty in it without an adapter.

Hey Dave I use the Tenergy 18650's in my Silver Bullet and they work good. I would recommend you try the High Drain AW IMR18650 3.7V batts.
