"Generic" is not a derogatory term. It means " being or having a nonproprietary name" ( ie... Janty, TW Tornado are examples of proprietary names). I think some people may have misinterpreted generic to mean fake. Of course Chris wasn't implying that at all.

Hi Brian, I've had my Joker for a few days now ( Yes Sarge a purple one ) and I'm loving it also. The light on the battery charger will turn green when they are fully charged. I'm not sure how long it takes to charge them, I haven't been watching. Right now I'm getting 7-8 hours from my batts, but I'm vaping like a madman right now. I put on a 510-801 adapter and I'm loving the 801 at this voltage. Much like I do on my PT. The cartos are working great also.

I agree with Mark, the attys were most likely DOA. Its always a good idea to test new attys with a multimeter when you first get them. Most suppliers only warranty attys if they are DOA. Its kinda hard to argue they were DOA months later. I don't see the need for stocking up on $250 worth of eGo batts. If you are worried about e-cigs becoming illegal, you could get a nice mod that accepts regular batts. Regular batts will never be illegal and usually readily available.

It most likely is toast. If you have a multimeter, you can check the atty to see if its still good.

I still do 3 at 6V. I just don't take very long drags at that voltage. You could probably get away with 4. If it does flood, it's easy to burn off.

Yes that sounds right when vaping @ 6 V. If you feel it getting too hot just take a little break. The good thing about 6V it doesn't take too many hits to get satisfied. I assume since you just got it, you are vaping it like crazy. Make sure to keep the atty moist at 6V. It is real easy to pop an atty at 6V especially with freshly charged batts.
