Most likely it is the atty that came with your unit. Smoore makes the XPower units and they are not known for their quality or reliability. I would recommend stepping up and getting a good Joye atty.

I have had my Joker AV for a couple of months now with no issues at all. I'm in love with it. I've had it set at 4.8 volts since the beginning and its performed great. I want to warn you though... that once you go HV, 3.7 just doesn't cut it anymore.

The LR atty runs really hot. I get that same metallic burn with little vapor when I have too much juice in my LR atty. I don't know the physics behind whats happening, but its like its cookin the juice and the by product contains little vapor and tastes nasty.

Wouldn't the nicotine cause a burning sensation?

I just re read your post and realize I gave you the wrong dimensions. The atty connector is 1/2 of an inch. I gave you the actual atty dimensions before. I also noticed you posted this same question on Nu Vapor and nobody has replied in 6 hours. VT rocks

The atty body diameter is about 3/8 of an inch. The threaded portion is about 1/4 of an inch.

Ditto what Burn said. I would pop attys like crazy on my Silver Bullet when it had freshly charged batts. I have only lost one atty on my Joker AV, I have it set at 4.8V.

I use both 510 & 302's. The 302 really helps to cool down the hot 6volt vapor. I would get an 801 adapter and try it out.

I've noticed that my teeth are turning whiter the longer i smoke. I don't know if its the vaping but I sure know its because my teeth aren't getting saturated with tar everyday.

Drinking a glass of milk while I vape has the same effect for me.
