  1. Bah, I hate when that happens. I would really recommend getting a mod unit that uses cheaper batteries. If you want something that is fairly slim check out the Spade or VP1 (they use the 10440 size batteries), if you're cool with getting something a little bigger there are a lot of good mods out there to choose from. The batteries for the mods are generally around 5-6 dollars a piece, and if you shop around and buy in larger quantities there are better deals to be had. Also you may want to look into a, HV mod, my VP-PT got me hooked on higher voltages and I must say that I love my Silver Bullet running @ 6V with an atty that is 3.5ohms or higher (I have some 4.5ohm attys inbound at the moment, can't wait to try them out).
  2. Shipping = $15 I picked up 6 HV801 attys to go with my Indulgence set as well, so grand total for the Indulgence Starter Kit, plus the Extended Battery cup and the USB PT option w/ 6 HV801 atomizers was less than $140 shipping included.
  3. Agreed FTJoe... this site is full of people that are MORE than happy to answer any question, even if it's been asked before, in fact as things change you'll find that the answers do as well. So starting a new thread never really hurt anyone. I spend tons of time of various forums so I'm used to looking for old threads to find answers, on those forums you'll get flamed in a heartbeat if you ask a question that's already been answered, here the atmosphere is much more friendly. In general everyone here is very supportive of newcomers and there is not the same elitist attitude you deal with on other forums. So definitely read some old threads, but if you have a question just go ahead and ask. Cheers.
  4. You've got a hell of a point. As a general rule I just don't tell anyone what they should or shouldn't do, unless they asked (or are paying me to tell them).
  5. https://www.lorannoils.com/c-6-super-strength-flavors-candy-oils.aspx Buy it direct from LorAnn.
  6. Congrats and welcome to the club!
  7. Yeah most of the links you'll find for the Tenergy RCR123a LifePO4 are to Battery Junction, but they had a fire in February and have not resumed business since. I found a seller on Amazon that is pretty close to the same low price... Battery Superstore @ Amazon.com. Shipping isn't very quick, took like 6 days or something because they ship ground FedEx.
  8. I picked one up inside of the last month and the RCR123a batts still fit fine.
  9. Wow, and 125mg/ml Flavorless for DIY mixing. Price is pretty good too, $70 for 60ml bottle, I may have to give them a try someday.
  10. Yeah, I'm really thinking I may pick one up, I just had two mods fail over the last couple of weeks, and I'm not really sure I want to pay to have them repaired. They failed not long after they were out of warranty, and I'm skeptical that they will perform any better after repair. Where is the extended battery housing for the 6V option, are they just out of stock? Or did I overlook it somehow?
  11. I've been looking at that mod myself. It looks a lot like a Silver Bullet to me, but cheaper and with more options, I really like the Passthrough option. Have you ever used the Silver Bullet JM? Can you confirm if it's a lower cost SB clone?
  12. I love my Silver Bullet, but it appears those are out of stock until early April. The simplicity of the SB design is it's strong point, but it is on the large side. Nice thing is you can use it @ 3.7V or 6V depending on which batteries you pop in it. At 6V the SB is a monster, they even have a double atomizer cap for them if you're really looking for a stronger e-cig.
  13. I think it's less about the form factor of the battery (RCR123a) and more about the fact that they use the LifePO4 design, from what I've read they withstand the thermal runaway better than typical Li-ion as well as longer cycle and calendar life.
  14. Agreed Schizo, but then let him review his new Lego set, video game, model car, you see where I'm going with this, let him review something that a kid's opinion matters on.
  15. For me it is about the quality of the video... there are a lot of instances where a video of a kid can be funny, cute, etc, but for an informational video such as an e-cig review I just don't get it. Why would I suffer through some shotty childish explanation of a product, I'd prefer to have an adult convey the information in a clear and concise manner. Guess what, everyone thinks they have a cute kid, but trust me when I say that people have better things to do with their time than look at the 37 pictures on your iPhone of your kids 6th birthday party. I'm not really talking trash because I will just choose not to watch it (I turned it off about 3 seconds into it) and in that sense it doesn't bother me at all, but come on, why would anyone want a product review from someone that doesn't use the product and can't even really say the name. Oh yeah, did I mention I'm not breeder?
  16. I'll take it a step further... I'm just not a fan of kids telling me anything. But seriously bad judgement on this one.
  17. Look, I'm not knocking the idea, but what I am saying is for a first time business owner with little capital any business with a store front has significant overhead, so much so that most will not be able to survive the amount of time it will take them to build up a solid client base. I think the idea has potential, but only for someone with the capital to launch it correctly and survive the initial break-in period. Unless you have deep pockets and don't mind taking a significant financial risk start small and grow as your business does.
  18. I guess for me it boils down to this, I can buy a powerchute for A LOT less money....
  19. Too bad it costs $75,000, only flys for 30 minutes and isn't even really a jetpack, those are propellers.
  20. In my opinion this is the wrong place to do that kind of market research. If it was my money, hell no, opening a store front creates a business with much higher overhead than I think you'll be able to handle. If you really want to be your own boss and make a living from e-cigs just jump in with yet another supplier website. You can do it from home until you have enough revenue to consider opening a store front of some kind. I'm not trying to be a downer but even as an enthusiastic user of the products I would never invest in a vaping lounge, too much risk and not enough potential reward. Just my 2 cents.
  21. I'll second that, I ordered a Silver Bullet a couple weeks ago myself. Shipping was fast, and Rob is quick to answer any questions you may have. I'd recommend the Silver Bullet to anyone, fantastic battery life, 3.7 & 6.0 volt options, and the switch feels amazing. I have a lot of VP units and I really thought I'd miss the LEDs, but I don't, I think the switch feels so good I could care less about it lighting up. Thanks Rob.
  22. So I just got in my Silver Bullet from AltSmoke.com and I have to say this thing is built like a tank. I haven't tried it @ 6V yet, just 3.7V today, but I have my RCR123a batteries en route and will check it out @ 6V soon. First impression, it's big, a little too big to put it in a pocket in my opinion, but holy smokes the switch on this thing is amazing. I'm sure battery life will be more than acceptable, and the high voltage option is great. I'm definitely impressed with the overall craftsmanship, and I have a feeling that even though it feels a little too big to take with me everywhere I'll end up doing just that. Any other Silver Bullet owners out there please post your comments, I'd love to hear from some people that have already put one through it's paces.
  23. Ok, most of my experience with RF interference is with dedicated audio interfaces and fairly long cable runs, but what I can tell you is shielded cabling is your best friend. If you onboard soundcard is part of the problem the shielded cables won't eliminate the interference, but as others have mentioned that can be remedied by purchasing a new, and most likely much better card with high quality D/A converters. There is a reason the high end audio cables cost so much money, and in my opinion cables are never a place to skimp on the budget. Unfortunately it sounds like your Logitech speakers have the cable hardwired into them, so it can't be easily replaced.
  24. It definitely happens to me all the time! But I kind of like it.
  25. Oh wow... more power to them, but I'm not a bathroom guy. I don't care how clean they intend to keep it, the thought gives me the willies.
