Yeah, he really should have seen that one coming, chances are she had done a few crazy things in the past to. Most people don't go from being totally chill to burning you with boiling hot food items in your sleep at the drop of a hat. I'm guessing she had keyed his car, or something to that effect at some point in the relationship. So really it just makes me laugh, that guy definitely should have known better.

Interesting question... my immediate reaction is just find a bottle that somehow fits the open end of the atomizer snugly and centers the drops to hit the wick. Problem there is you won't be able to see how many drops you have put on it. Maybe a small bottle dropper (the ones with the small rubber squeezer at the top) so each squeeze is a fairly accurate predetermined amount, then find something that fits around it to center it on the open end of the atomizer and holds it steady. Might be a nice contraption for driving and dripping too.

My understanding of Li-ion batteries is that they do not have a charge memory. In fact I've read where they actually work best if you do not allow them to fully discharge frequently. Check out this link... http://www.batteryun.../parttwo-34.htm Bah, here I'll post a quote too- How to prolong lithium-based batteries (BU34) Battery research is focusing heavily on lithium chemistries, so much so that one could presume that all portable devices will be powered with lithium-ion batteries in the future. In many ways, lithium-ion is superior to nickel and lead-based chemistries and the applications for lithium-ion batteries are growing as a result. Lithium-ion has not yet fully matured and is being improved continuously. New metal and chemical combinations are being tried every six months to increase energy density and prolong service life. The improvements in longevity after each change will not be known for a few years. A lithium-ion battery provides 300-500 discharge/charge cycles. The battery prefers a partial rather than a full discharge. Frequent full discharges should be avoided when possible. Instead, charge the battery more often or use a larger battery. There is no concern of memory when applying unscheduled charges. Although lithium-ion is memory-free in terms of performance deterioration, batteries with fuel gauges exhibit what engineers refer to as "digital memory". Here is the reason: Short discharges with subsequent recharges do not provide the periodic calibration needed to synchronize the fuel gauge with the battery's state-of-charge. A deliberate full discharge and recharge every 30 charges corrects this problem. Letting the battery run down to the cut-off point in the equipment will do this. If ignored, the fuel gauge will become increasingly less accurate.

I just wanted to post and say I highly recommend the VT juices. But if it's variety of flavor selection driving your decision WordUpECig has quite a few to choose from.

I think I'll wait to see how the FDA thing plays out before I invest... Also hardware manufacturers (attys, not battery mods) are all Chinese owned I think, and I'm not familiar with their stock exchange system so it would take some research.

Nice review, pretty slick looking battery mod on that thing.

It's all about giving people options. I honestly didn't give the e-cig much though until I was listening to Howard Stern in the car one day and one of the guys on the show started saying how his wife had bought one for him and even though he had not given up analogs entirely yet the e-cig had proven to be much better than he expected and had helped him cut his habit back significantly. Most smokers have had their fill of "quit smoking quick schemes", poorly designed and heavily marketed products that did nothing to help you quit besides taking money out of your wallet you could have spent on cigarettes. E-cigs are almost the opposite in my opinion, they are fairly well designed and under marketed. Once more people see that it truly is cost effective and more importantly that it really can provide a safer alternative to smoking I think you'll see it catch on more, unless the FDA throws a monkey wrench in that plan before we get there that is...

Good to know, I'll try to remember to take off my attys first, but I'm just glad to know you are on top of the situation Jeso. As always great customer service here.

Personally I find that exhaling through my nose helps me to taste the flavor. Anyone else or is it just me?

Done.

I keep telling my wife that kids aren't all that great... apparently someone else out there sees my point of view as well. Return on investment is just far too long with kids. But my niece is adorable.

Agreed on the webcam... but I love the charisma!

Cool, I submitted the request, usually takes 24-48 hours to process.

Or if you already use the service, PM me your username so we can Wave together, get a cool e-cig wave going or something.

Anyone here interested in checking out Google Wave? I have some invites left... If you don't know what Google Wave is check out this link- http://wave.google.com/help/wave/about.html

Hello. I actually ordered some of the BE112s from bestecig.com about a month ago and I've been pleased with their performance. You can get a 5 pack for $30 (shipping not included) so they are definitely some of the most affordable penstyle attys out there. I can only compare them to the 801s that came with my VP1, but I actually prefer them to the 801 HB so far. You should be warned that Chris has not been able to get the BE112s to fit either of his VP units, I and another member have both sent him some to check out and they have not worked for him. That being said they fit just fine onto both my VP1 and VP PT. I ordered some 510 attys last night I'm really looking forward to trying myself, I'll let you know how it goes when they get here.

Woot rocks. My company uses it occasionally to sell extra stock and the deals are pretty awesome. Once you start to Woot, you check it every day, never know what awesome stuff will be up there for a great price.
-
Bam... that's customer service if I've ever seen it. Precisely why I chose to purchase my VP units (VP1 and PT). You rock Jeso.

Nice jokes! I agree completely that the media is taking this all way too far. Unfortunately for the most part the content of our media is a direct result of our culture (and vice versa too). We have created generations of people that all think they should be "rockstars". When life actually deals them a more realistic hand they feel the need to find a new way to connect to that lifestyle. If Tiger Woods was the bartender at the TGI Fridays down the street no one would give flip about him cheating on his wife, in fact I would stop someone mid sentence as they were telling me about it to inform them I couldn't care less. But because our society somehow thinks that by knowing the intimate details of a celebrity's life it somehow connects them to that lifestyle we take great interest in their personal details, the more personal the better. Many people probably know more about celebrities they've never met than most of the people they come into contact with on a regular basis. Now add to that the fact that because there is no easy way to elevate the average person to a "celebrity" status we instead choose to tear them down to our level. I would guess that everyone has done something in their past they are not proud of, people make mistakes, all people, and celebrities are no different. But when a celebrity makes a mistake (or lots of mistakes) it makes the front page news. What about poverty conditions through out our country? What about genocide in foreign countries? What about the inspiring stories of real, average people doing their part to make a difference? No, we would rather watch Britney Spears hit a parked car as she's swarmed by paparazzi.

N.j. Assembly Committee Approves E-Cigarette Ban
GDub replied to Christopher's topic in General Vape News
Hmmm, I'm all for age restrictions, it is a "medical product". We restrict movies, video games, spray paint, etc. so I see no reason why the e-cig shouldn't be restricted from sale to minors. Let's just hope they don't use this as a jump off to pass further legislation that could potentially make the device itself illegal. -
Definitely use this forum as a "support group". You'll find that the genuine enthusiasm here is infectious. Welcome to the forum!

I'm no physician but my immediate response would be yes, it can absorb through your skin. However I seriously doubt you need to worry about over-dosing. It seems to me you would have to leave it on your skin for an extended period of time to really absorb a significant amount. I wash my hands when I get it on me because it leaves a slightly sticky residue which I find to be annoying, but I don't really worry abut the effects of absorption so much. Maybe I'm living in blissful ignorance, but I wouldn't stress it.
