Nice introduction of the Poldiac, CaseAce! Yours is absolutely gorgeous.

The Polished Brass one in the second photo above is MY Poldiac!!! and it's here! It arrived yesterday.

MSE, it's expensive, but it's because of the quality, built for life quality. It hits like a truck too, because of the silver. The button is ... oh gosh I feel like a traitor, BUT... the button is even nicer than the button on the Roller mod. (and THAT is saying a LOT, because the Roller has the most comfortable button in the history of mods.. until now). They both feel just as smooth, BUT, the Poldiac's let's your finger/or thumb rest more naturally in between vapes.

If it were a VV mod, it would be less than the Provari. Provari is top of the line electronical mod, and the Poldiac is top of the line all Mechanical mod. Yet, it's still cheaper than the Provari when all is said and done. (blue or green LED, extra insurance, extender tube,... all the things that should be included in the original asking price). The Poldiac comes with 3 different sized battery tubes! It's almost like getting 3 for the price of one... and if you don't like one size, you're not stuck having to use that one size you don't like afterall. OHH! and the AMPS .... a Provari has something like a 3.5 amp limit, right? The mechanical mods have like an outrageous Amp limit. The better quality the mod, the higher the Amp rating. (20??)

and the clothes. Wow, the choices for the clothes are sweet. If and when my Brass discolors, I'm not stuck with an ugly mod, I just go buy a new suit and voila.

I'm so excited. This is one NICE mod, in looks, in craftsmanship, in service and in performance.

Here's a blurry pic of mine, taken with my tracphone camera.

My apologies if my excitement hijacked the thread. I only aim to applaud and confirm, but kinda got carried away.
and then came back and added the AMPS stuff. I go now.... honest...

Good deal then, you already removed it. Yeh, I wondered about my wire under the fillscrew too, at first, until I had to remove it to fill it. Lightbulb lol. It's hilarious how stumped we can be over such minor details. I still laugh at myself for feeling overwhelmed with my first eGo kit. lol

You have to buy the Food Grade (304) or the Corrosion resistant (316). Either one should work. http://www.mcmaster.com/#wire-mesh-screens/=j3ye07 and even eBay has it. But I would refrain until you know exactly what to get. Shoot, one sheet will last you a year or more! Also, Jim has it on his site, plus you get free mesh when you order a DID from him. (not every genesis comes with wire and mesh, but the DID sure does. Jim's a great vendor!!!)

Safest bet for now, is to get extra from Jim though. He also has clear tanks, wire, and spare nuts and posts and stuff. He's on the ball, that guy!

I luckily started with the regular sized DID and was even luckier to nail it my first ever try. After hearing your tale, I'll start recommending the regular sized DID's for first timers. What a tale eh!

Thanks for the Thanks you've given, & it was my pleasure to help you out. I'm just happy that you've got it going.
