Thanks for the link! I'm cautiously optimistic there could be an "easing up" of regs under this administration.   

The "practical" difference is the amps a battery can safely discharge without venting or failing. Most quality batteries are 20A, but some are rated and tested higher. It is their tested value for continuous discharge that is important. Their pulse value is usually higher, but means little since you are not using them in a pulse capacity, in other words you are holding the fire button longer than one second [emoji4]. Typically, batteries with lower capacity (mAh) have higher discharge ratings, and those with huge capacity have lower amp rating... But it's a generalization, not a rule.
 
The batteries I listed above are proven and tested to 20A ratings, and most of us here on VT know and trust them daily!

I have felt a very strong connection to Beaker once I started winding coils and brewing juice.  He is my Vaping Mascot!!! 

Sam is gorgeous! And I can see about his tail, lol. Cody's about 7 months old now. He has the longest legs and torso I've ever seen on a Maltese.

You can never have too many tanks. LOL
I have a SMOK Magneto (basically new) that that I was planning on tossing in with the Nautilus X just because I know you have one and seem to like.

I'd love to see you like the baby beast but if you decide you don't let me know.

In sunny Southern Colorado our high today was a balmy 84 degrees. Tomorrow and Sunday we expect low 70s like @VapeMama. We could use some rain around here to help fight the extreme fire danger warnings we have. My SO and I are planning a nice, quiet weekend for just the three of us (adding in our fuzzy kid) for a nice change of pace.

Happy holiday all.  I'll be in beautiful Halfmoon Bay all day Sunday with family, doing the beach thing - prolly looking at 70s.  It's going to be fun and relaxing in a much needed way.

Funny story...
I was out in my back yard just the other day and I found a complete Aspire tank just laying in the middle of my yard!
I brought it in the house and cleaned it up and the top was cross threaded. I cleaned the threads up and put it back together, filled it with juice and it worked perfectly.
The next day I went over to my neighbor (I figured it was his) and said, "look at this cool atomizer I found".
Turns out he came home from work and it had leaked all over in his car, he got mad and just threw it. Evidently one of my trees stopped it from reaching it's ill fated destination. [emoji41]

Thanks, @gadget. Once I get over the frustration I might give that a try. Will need to go look for the silly thing that I threw into the back yard in a fit first, though. Just kidding -- but it was a near thing!

It's a great day to vape! 
Got four rigs in rotation and flavors are all tasting wonderful.  A short four months ago and I chuckled at others with multiple mods going thinking "no way", lol.  The doghouse (vape cave) looks like a MOAB went off in it, but that's cool.  Don't mind un-cluttering.  Got three songs to learn today, one of which I have been wanting to tackle for over 20 years.  Gonna fire up the DYI lab and restock.  Think I'll make up a few little 10ml drip bottles for Easter presents.  Basically a play day today.  I'm thinkin sweats all day.  Got a gallon of VG coming in as well.  Another "no way" just a while ago.  High of 64 today in south east Michigan so I might even fire up the grill. 
Hoping it's a great day for all!!!

That seems to have cooled the vapor down a bit. Still need to figure out how to make it work for me by tweaking it some more. Thanks for the tip!   

Add laundry, grocery shopping, barber for the SO and dog groomer and then we're having fun!  LOL

You are correct, the tank is getting warm because of the heat generated by the heating of the coil at high watts... think of the heat of a 100W light-bulb, and you're going hotter than that... in a very confined space...
As for batteries getting warm, yes they do that as they produce power (discharge).  I do not know the brand "Avatar", and probably would not trust them to be true 20A batteries.  If it were me, I would invest in a QUALITY pair of Samsung 25R (green wrapper) or LG batteries (HE2, HG2).  The ones I mentioned are TRUE 20A batteries and larger capacity (2500mAh or 3000mAh).  I regularly use (and trust) these batteries and never have them get warm on me, even when pushing a single battery over 60W... or dual batteries over 120W.
