That's one heck of a review, Jason. I'm looking forward to hearing more about it when you've had a chance to put it through its paces.

Is getting e-liquid on your skin harmful?
Tam replied to MrMotivapour's topic in DIY e Liquid Discussion
Are you aware that you will find PG in asthma inhalers? It's also used in hospitals because it's an effective anti-bacterial agent. -
Nope, unfortunately, even that won't be enough. There's just not enough hours in a day. @Christopher Let's see if the Bat signal can draw Chris out. I never got the notice that Cany made this quote in my email.

I almost exclusively use Firefox (on latest version 38.0.5 right now), and it's very rare that I have problems. If I remember correctly, Chris mostly uses Chrome. Might try that instead of Internet Exploder. -

*golf clap* OMG, that's funny! -
Buried in work and spending insane hours there. By the time I get home, there's only been time for a quick shower then bed. Being an adult sucks.

Funny that you post this today. I was just reading about it this morning but I don't remember where...

Are those who get the errors on desktops, laptops or mobile? -
Very nice review, Jason! You'll have to comment back in a few days to tell us if you still like it as well.
-
Good for you! And glad to see you back.

Yes. It would also apply to personal mobile fog machines -- just in case you'd want to act out a dramatic night scene with the scary fog from Dracula or something at the spur of the moment.
-
Many members here just keep more than one tank around just for this purpose. We put a different flavor in each tank so all we need to do is change tanks when we want to change flavors.
-
If that comes to pass, I can see someone marketing an RDA as "New Age Art" or some such to bypass the restriction.

"Medicinal alcohol" tends to leave a film on parts that I prefer not to vape. Vinegar wouldn't taste very good should some remain on the wick so that's a no. Boiled water would be okay as long as you don't leave rubber O-rings in it too long (might melt it or damage other parts if it gets too hot). My preference is to use warm to hot water to rinse and then soak in Vodka for a few hours then rinse well under warm/hot water and let dry overnight.

They're into what they can sell. All too often, it's not about what's best for the customer. When you do find a store that really takes into consideration what the customer really needs, it's pretty rare but a precious find. When you go back to the store, see about maybe getting a Kanger Pro Tank 2, an air flow controller, and some 1.8 ohm coils. I think you'll be happier with the much simpler set up until you're ready for something more advanced. ETA: And while you're there, think hard about getting a back up. It doesn't have to be anything fancy or expensive, just a stick battery like a Vision Spinner (the first one, not the version 2), a charging cord and AC adapter, and some more tanks. You can never have too many back ups. That's what keeps you from going back to the analogs.

You really can't go by just looking at the coils alone. There could be a short like Bebop and Earthling said (more than likely there is a short), and that wouldn't be visible to the naked eye. Since you're new to vaping, I would also advise you to take it back to the store you bought it at and have them troubleshoot it for you. In my opinion, they should've set you up with a simpler tank and coil system, more a plug and play kind of thing to get you started like a Kanger Pro Tank 2 or 3, Aerotank 2, or Anyvape Davide. This one that they sold you is for more advanced users.

What's strange is that it's not very sweet but it feels very sweet, if that makes any sense. -
They're still mining enough Mithril to make it. As you well know, Mithril is very rare...

I have to agree. Rixter should get something out of all the sales he's caused.

And why scream over some smoke/vapor/fog coming out of a trash can? -
You won't go wrong listening to Earthling's advice. We stress safety here, as well as taking it slow with people who are new to vaping. Don't try to fly a lear jet when you're still working on the riding a bicycle first. There are plenty of ways to get lots of vapor with tanks and pre-built coils without going the RDA or RTA route. If you want super massive clouds that obliterate light, then that's when you go with the RDA. Otherwise, a good tank, a good battery, and the right juice should get you plenty of vapor. I can fog up a room pretty easily with a Kanger Pro Tank 2, 1.8 ohm coil, an Eleaf iStick 50W, and some 40 PG/60 VG juice at 3 mg nic.

Right now I'm stuck on Vaping Watch's Clockwerks Custard. I have Rixter to blame for that one. It's good by itself or mixed with other flavors. Mmmmm

From what I've seen, mech mods aren't as popular as they once were. That said, my favorite mech mod is the Magneto. The K100 (Empire mod clone) is a close second. Both are very inexpensive to buy. More people these days (if our members are any indication), are going for the variable voltage/variable wattage devices. My personal favorites are the Eleaf iStick 50W (I have four... or was it five) of them now. Next is the IPV mini and IPV mini 2, which takes an external battery. These are around $50 or less.

What everyone else already said. And, for me, fruit flavors require lower temps and give harder throat hit. The custard and bakery flavors are smoother but require a bit more heat. Also, depending on the flavor, if you add a little custard, it smooths out the throat hit. On a couple of fruit flavors that were a little too harsh, I added custard (you can also use vanilla, vanilla cupcake, vanilla malt, etc.) and it smoothed it out and gave it a slight creaminess when I added even more.

By far the best custard I've tried is Vaping Watch's Clockwerks Custard. It's not too sweet and has a true custard flavor.
