  1. If you get a lower resistance coil, you get a hotter vape with less power. With a higher resistance coil, it takes more power to get the coil to heat up so you use more power. That would also drain the battery faster so you'd have to charge it back up more frequently. That's why I suggest using a 1.8 ohm coil, it's a good level to start with and you can go higher or lower with ease. Some juices like cooler temperatures for best flavor while others need more heat. With the 1.8 ohm coil, it's a nice balance so you can go up or down.
  2. Go find it yourself, Tug. http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/topic/27051-kanger-subtank-mini-vs-aspire-triton/?page=1 It could very well be me and/or the dark, sweet juice I'm vaping with it. I just wish I could find a way to get the damned thing to work! lol
  3. Vision is the brand, Spinner is the model of battery. Juice can, and most often does, contain nicotine. You can also order juice with no nicotine at all. The Spinner provides the power, nothing else. There is no "smoke" from an e-cigarette. If you see smoke, that means it's about to burn or blow up, not something you want. We call it "vapor." The coils come in different resistances, it all depends on what you like through trial and error. I would suggest a 1.8 ohm coil as a good starting point.
  4. Some time ago Rixter did a review on Vaping.Watch's "Clockwerks Custard" juice. I decided to give it a try because he made it sound so good (Rixter has a way of doing that). Ordered a 30 ml bottle at 6 mg nic. It comes in a square glass bottle with a separate dripper cap. I ordered a second dripper cap just in case. When the priority box came, it was in a plastic bag that USPS put it in because the box was smashed flat and the cardboard was all wet and dripping. I took pictures immediately before opening it and found the glass bottle smashed to smithereens. Went to their website and contacted them with the pictures. Watch, the owner, got back to me apologizing all over the place. All I wanted was an apology and a replacement for the juice. He asked about the dripper caps and I told him that one was fine, I'd need a replacement for the other. He sent me two 30 ml bottles "for my inconvenience" and a new dripper cap priority mail wrapped like a mummy in bubble wrap. Fast forward to this week. I reordered some more Clockwerks Custard (because it really is that good and a great mixer with other juices). I also ordered a couple more dripper caps because I found that the one I thought was okay... wasn't. Got the order in the other day. They changed to round bottles and the dripper cap was for the smaller round bottles and wouldn't fit the second square bottle that Watch had sent before. I contacted them again. This time, Wrecker75 answered (gotta love their names!). All I asked was how could I order the dripper caps to fit the square bottles? He sent me two for free. The customer service I've gotten from this company and the people who work there has been outstanding! I couldn't ask for better. The juice is amazing... I must try some more of their flavors. Thanks to Rixter for bringing this small company to my attention. I will be ordering more from them. They've more than won my loyalty.
  5. More power does not equal more vapor or a stronger "vape" (we call this "throat hit"). That would be the mixture of PG (propolyne glycol) and VG (vegetable glycerine) and amount of nicotine. I can easily fog up a room with the Vision Spinner 1600 mAh (<-- this is the battery with 1600 milliamp hours), the KPT mini 3 (KPT = Kanger Pro Tank -- the tank that holds the juice and the heating coil), with a 1.8 ohm coil, some 50 PG/50 VG juice. If you're new and trying to get off cigarettes, I would suggest going with a higher nicotine juice like 18 mg or 24 mg nicotine to start. Once you get totally off the cigarettes, you can start lowering the nic level a little at a time. Ask lots of questions, we'll try to steer you in the right direction.
  6. Why do you need more power? What do you want to use on the battery that requires it?
  7. Well, it would all depend on the man, I suppose. If he's only "average," I wouldn't spend much on him. If he was above average... I might be tempted to spend a little more. Just kidding. If you're just starting and want something dependable but not too complicated, I'd start with two Vision Spinner variable voltage batteries, a couple Kanger Pro Tank 3 mini, a couple 5-packs of replacement coils, a charger with an AC adapter and some juice. Easily under $100 and you're set to go for a bit until you decide you want something a little more advanced. Others may be along shortly to help you spend some money. We all have our preferences in vaping. Only you can tell what you like and what works for you.
  8. You can get some starter kits for around $40 but you won't be happy with them for long. You get what you pay for. If you spend a little more, you can buy something that will grow with you and will perform much better, IMO.
  9. I'm glad to hear you're having such great luck with it, Cany. Wish I could've made it work better for me.
  10. *sniffs* I thought it was Cany smoking some more meat somewhere...
  11. You can name the other vendor but please leave off the link. For $40, you're going to have a hard time buying any decent vape gear much less a decent starter kit and juice.
  12. Yep. Always use a separate ohm meter and never trust that the one on your mod is accurate. They usually aren't.
  13. That's not a "Frozen Picture". That, my dear, is Elsa. I can't wait until the sequel comes out. I'm hoping they can top the first version.
  14. Looney Tunes rock! Judge you? How can I do that when my avatar is a purple minion from Despicable Me 2? And I don't have any kids to blame it on. lol
  15. http://vapenw.com/istick-50w-by-eleaf The button is on the "end" right below where the tank goes. Because the battery is 4400 mAh, it does take quite a few hours to charge, that's why you buy two. The link I gave you is for the iStick 50W only, it doesn't come with the charging cable, the AC adapter or the eGo adapter. If you want those, then you'll pay a little more. http://www.madvapes.com/istick-50w-kit-v2.html I do business regularly with these two places and have always had good luck with their products and customer service. A warning for you: some people have had issues with these iStick 50W auto-firing or not working right. I have five of them and so far, they've all worked well for me with no problems. In any case you will want to keep the contacts clean and immediately wipe away any juice that spills on it.
  16. I love the rounded edges and it's not even half as heavy as my VTR, it's extremely light for a 4400 mAh battery. My IPV mini and IPV mini 2 are heavier than this. What do you mean by finger trigger? They all need a finger to trigger it on. The button is very smooth and easy to press -- for me. Even when my arthritis is acting up, this doesn't bother it. Of course, YMMV.
  17. Not my fault if you broke yours, mine are still working flawlessly. You'll be waiting a loooong time for the reimbursement, especially since I have yet to receive the invoice that I can laugh at.
  18. Juice is so subjective. What tastes great to you could be awful for me and no one's at fault. Most of us here know the score, and we don't expect a new juice to be our favorite just because someone else loves it. We don't know unless we give it a try.
  19. Did you try your sister's iStick 50W? It doesn't have to be set at 50W, in fact I'd recommend against it, especially for you. You can use any tank on it. It has a native 510 connection but comes with an eGo adapter. I've got a KPT 3 mini on an eGo adapter using a single 1.8 ohm KPT coil on one of my iStick 50W right now and it works just fine.
  20. Earthling, if you spot one for less than $45 from a reputable vendor... I don't need to know, 'kay?
  21. That's what I thought. I will be keeping a very close eye on my iStick 50W just to be safe. You should get a bonus 50 points for using "fastidious" in a sentence. Ten more points for using it correctly!
  22. What??? Do you mean to tell me you don't already have a TC mod, Earthling? Oh, the humanity!
  23. What made you curious about cucumber juice, Nate?
