Congrats! You must be so very proud.
-
Glad you got it figured out.

What resistance is your ohm meter reading on this coil? Just curious...
-
Just in case you wind up unscrewing the wrong thing, I would turn the tank upside down so the juice won't spill all over the mod. Then, using Cany's suggestion, try using something rubbery for better grip to try to unscrew the tank off. If you don't have anything else, a rubber band wound around the base of the tank will also give you gripping power.

Once in a while mine will gurgle. I just take off the drip tip, insert a Q-tip and lightly dab. Take out Q-tip, do a light drag/pull with no power, dab with Q-tip again. Repeat a few times and gurgle is gone. Glad you're liking the Triton mini. These are wonderful tanks in my opinion.

But are you absolutely sure that they're not knock offs? Also, since they got wet too, are you sure you don't now have a pretty paper weight?
-
Yes, they use the same coils. Oh, and good catch, Devv! I'm moving this to General Vaping Discussion.

Earthling gives sound advice. Whatever you do, do NOT buy the batteries from eBay. That's an easy way to wind up on the 6 o'clock news cast.
-
Yep, what Earthling said. The Ronin tank replacement works very well... I think it was either Bebop and/or Rixter who brought that up. Masochist that I am, I purchased one more Version 1 to see if my suspicions were right. So far the tank is working well but the jury is still out. My other seven Triton 2s are all working amazingly well.

Sorry, no, I haven't tried either one, but with custards of any kind, you need to let it age a bit so the more subtle flavors can come through. Put these in a dark, cool place for a week or two then try them again.
-
Let it sit in a cool, dark place for a week or two and then try again. You might be pleasantly surprised by the change in flavor... or not.

Just realized Ive been here for a year already

Congrats, Cany! And I second Earthling's thanks for helping so many new vapers on their journey. -
You're off to a good start.

If he's been vaping for five years, I would think he'd come across the information that vaping dehydrates you somewhere along the line. It is common knowledge and right out there for anyone to see in all kinds of places. I'm surprised that he missed the memo.

Chantix is truly horrible. One friend went off in uncontrollable rage. and hallucinations. We figured out it was due to sleep deprivation from Chantix. Another wound up having other health problems that mysteriously disappeared once she stopped using the stuff. Chantix should automatically come with a therapist, padded room, and a straight jacket at no extra cost.

Wow, imagine that. New York has a judge who has common sense, does research to get facts before handing down judgements, and also has a thorough understanding of the English language. Wonders never cease.

Changed coil (about 9 times now), still too harsh. Redid juice again, changed tank, changed battery, changed tank (again), messed with wattage (before was always 3.8w) found that if I purchase a 30w coil rather than my usual 50w it is not as harsh (can puff twice before I'm coughing up a lung versus the first puff on 50w coil). This makes no sense to me whatsoever. 30W coils? Also, using the battery set at 3.8W and it's too harsh? I'd think OP wouldn't really be getting anything from that low wattage setting.

Are you sure that what you got was an authentic Atlantis and not a knock off? That's a problem with purchasing from eBay, some vendors are not as forthcoming as they should be. I hope the next one works better for you.
-
First off I want to ask what you mean by 30W and 50W coil. Watts are used in relation to power, which is your battery output. What resistance is your coil? That would be more helpful. Also, you don't mention what the PG/VG ratio of juice you're using. That makes a huge difference. More PG = a harder/harsh throat hit.

We stress getting back ups because you never know what will happen. What if you drop it and the battery no longer works? Do you want to wait a few days for another one to come in the mail? What happens if the battery just stops working for no reason? That can also happen. Even though they say you can vape while the iStick is charging, I wouldn't recommend doing that. So, when it's charging, what are you going to use? Getting back ups and back ups of back ups (in case of multiple failures -- it's happened to most of us on this forum), is always a good idea.

If the 3 mg of nic is working for you, then I wouldn't change a thing. If it's not quite doing it for you, go up a little. Personally, I started with 24 mg of nic in my juice to get me off cigarettes, but that was with a whole different set up. The tanks and coils these days are much different from back then so a lower amount may work just as well. You want to be watching the PG/VG levels of your juice, though. Too much VG and the juice will be too thick for the wick to properly absorb so you may get dry hits, which are not pleasant. Most people go with a 40 PG/60 VG or 30 PG/70 VG. I wouldn't go much higher on the VG than 70% or it would be too thick.
