The first thing I would ask is, "what does she want?"

Get both and save yourself the conundrum of having to decide.

My favorite tank to use with the iStick 50W is the Aspire Triton 2. I have seven of them, four in rotation. They also have a mini version but I like the bigger tanks (about the size of a regular Pro Tank 3) because I don't have to fill them as often. There are smaller box mods out there, I prefer having the longer battery life of the 4400 mAh size. If you figure how long your Spinner 2s last at 1600 mAh, think how much longer a 4400 mAh battery would last. Right now, on one of my iStick 50W, I have a Kanger Pro Tank 3 on it with a 1.8 ohm coil and it works just fine at 8.0W of power. These days I now prefer to use by wattage instead of volts that I was used to with the Spinners. I've also used Kanger Pro Tank 3 minis with the eGo adapter on it with no problems. I get the wraps from ebay. Although I never recommend buying hardware from eBay, I have no problem with wraps as they're just little things that wrap around the battery. Nearly all of my iStick 50W are black with different colored wraps on them. Mightyskinsdecals1 is the vendor I use. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=iStick+50W+wraps+skins&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR3.TRC2.A0.H0.XiStick+50W+skins.TRS0&_nkw=iStick+50W+skins&_sacat=0 There's the link for the search. You can scroll through to find what you like. Just keep in mind that once you put the wrap on, you can't really just take it off and change it without stretching the wrap, they're only good for one time use. As for the battery, I've purchased nearly all of mine from MyVaporStore at $34.95 each. I've gotten great customer service and their price for the 50W is about the lowest I've found. The second from the right has the Kanger Pro Tank 3 on it.

I've long since moved on from the Spinners I once loved so much and now all I use are the Eleaf iStick 50W. They're a "box" battery but nicely rounded to fit into your hand easily and comfortably. The extra weight was easy to get used to. I love that it has an internal battery so I don't have to mess with external batteries and an extra charger. Best of all is that it's 4400 mAh. No matter how much I chain vape, I still only need to charge it once every 4 - 5 days. I've also gotten all kinds of different colors and designs of wraps so I can customize what it looks like. It's very easy to use. Add to that, for you, I would suggest getting an Aerotank 2. They can use the very same coils as the Pro Tank 3s. Aerotanks are good workhorses and perform very well.

Hi Patricia. Try putting the batteries into the freezer for about 10 minutes or so. Then, use something rubbery like a thick rubber band, put that over the top of the coil left inside the battery, use a small flat head screw driver to push against the piece left inside while trying to unscrew it. Once you get some movement, you don't have to push against it so hard and you can continue to unscrew the piece out. What you're trying to do is to break the screw loose at first. Are you screwing your tank on too tight? I've never had this happen before so I'm curious about the cause. Anyway, I hope it works for you!

How to create a Mr Eliquid type smooth 70pg/30vg mix

Please do not double post. I deleted the duplicate. Our members are good about helping people out. Someone *cough @Compenstine cough* should be along soon-ish. -
And another problem with studies like this is that they are typically run by people who have absolutely no real clue about vaping other than what they see at their local convenience stores or the cloud chuckers. One extreme or the other, which doesn't really do a good job of representing many of us who started vaping to stop smoking, and are now in it for the flavor and hobby.

I've tried using premade coils on my JAM and Stillare RDA. It was okay but I prefer to build my own coils. When you're ready to take the plunge, the first thing on your shopping list should be a good ohm meter. Don't trust that your mod will read the resistance of your coil accurately. Much safer to have a dedicated ohm meter instead.

I'm glad you found something that worked. I was running out of ideas, lol. Personally, I prefer a mod where I have more control over how much power I use. It makes life so much easier that way to be able to customize the power for each different flavor and coil resistance.

Sorry, long day and brain's fried so I only barely skimmed tonight. Still, from what I saw... I have one question: where do they find these people they used in the study? The data suggested regular use of electronic cigarettes is still very low, with just 5.5% of adults and 3.1% of 12- to 17-year-olds having used e-cigs in the past month. Azer added that daily e-cig users make up a very small percentage of these 30-day e-cig users. “In fact, among current adult e-cig users, more than 40% had only used an e-cig less than three times in the past 30 days,” she said. “We believe [this] points to the continued lack of consumer adoption of the products.” Seriously? Ugh. I'll read this article more carefully later after I've had a good night's sleep. I hope there's some better research than what I just quoted above.

What Bebop said. Also, what material are you using for wicks?

When you say you're "burning coils", what exactly is it doing? Are you getting a burnt taste? Or does the coil suddenly stop working? You said you're using 80/20 juice, that's 80 PG/20 VG? If so, and you're getting a burnt taste/harsh vape, that could be the problem. You need a higher VG juice. If you have 80 VG/20 PG, then maybe the juice is too thick and your wick can't soak it up fast enough and you're getting a dry hit? If it's 80VG, try adding a drop or three of distilled (or at the very least some filtered water) into your tank to thin the juice out a bit. If you have PG, that would be better to add but water also works in a pinch. Might give that a try. In rare instances you just get a batch of bad coils...
-
If you're not using TC, then I would suggest putting in a new coil after priming it first and letting it sit in the tank filled with juice for at least ten minutes or longer so the wick is thoroughly saturated. Start your power on a low setting like maybe 8 watts. Vape. If that's not doing it for you and giving you the vapor and flavor like you want, turn it up a little. Vape. Repeat until you get a slight burnt taste and then turn it down just a bit. That should be the sweet spot for that juice and coil combination. It shouldn't be burning up coils -- also, make sure you have enough air flow going through your tank. Give that a try then let us know if it works for you.

I was just curious because I know you two are running more power than my measly 9.7 watts on 1.8 ohm coils. However, even chain vaping I only have to charge once every 3 - 4 days. lol
-
What are you two running that eats through batteries so quickly?
-
How many watts are you currently using that you're burning coils? What PG/VG ratio of juice are you using?
-
Okay, got it. I've got lots of old coils that I can cannibalize for the extra caps. Thanks!
-
Do you have a picture you could post of the extra cap on the shaft?

I'm so sorry for your loss, Cany. Keep the fun times you had close to you, and I hope they'll bring a smile. If he was a good friend to you all those years, he wouldn't have wanted you beating yourself up over it.

Just ordered two Kanger Aerotank mini version 2 from Mt. Baker Vapor. Got tired of the Kanger Pro tank mini 3s leaking all over the place so I thought I'd try something that Earthling789 always raves about. Was going to go with a Triton mini but I have all these 1.8 ohm single coils laying around that I need to use.

I second Fadora Vapor. Our very own Compenstine is the owner and mix master. If you contact him, he will work with you to get your juice exactly right for you.

EJUICE that I should not put in EVOD tank.

Like the guys said, anything high in citrus and/or high in acidity. I'd also stay away from grape flavors as those can crack plastic tanks.
