As someone who has... more Triton 2s than I care to admit, if you want to use it on something like an eGo Twist, stick with the 1.8 ohm battery. Your Twist is not meant for sub-ohm (0.2 ohm and 0.5 ohm). If you want to use a sub-ohm coil, there are many mods out there that will do so safely. Personally, I like the Eleaf iStick 50W for a simple yet powerful battery that's very versatile. Earthling789 recommends the Wismec 40W. Both of these have the battery inclosed so you don't have to buy separate batteries and battery charger for them. Even with the iStick 50W, I prefer the cooler vape so I use 1.8 ohm coils exclusively. Since you have never vaped before, are you trying to get off cigarettes? If so, what mg of nicotine are you using? With the Triton, you'll want to go with a lower nic level than you would with a tank on an eGo Twist.

Kendra, you're not quite ready for an RBA, that stands for Rebuildable Atomizer. Before you get to the point of building your own coils, you need to master using the prebuilt ones first. Learn to walk before trying to pilot a jet.

If I were you I'd go with the Kanger Aerotank V2. Then, if you order that, I'd go with a 1.8 ohm coil and replacement coils for it.

A 510 adapter comes with it.

I'm positive it's only nine... okay... pretty sure...

My Vapor Store is where I bought all of my iStick 50W with possibly the exception of the first one or two. http://www.myvaporstore.com/Eleaf-iSmoka-iStick-50W-4400mAh-Simple-Pack-p/elis-is50wbk.htm Ha! I've only got nine of them.

Personally, I'd highly recommend the Wismec 40W or the Eleaf iStick 50W because they come with the batteries inside, you don't have to buy separate batteries (plus no worries to get the right ones for safety reasons) and the separate battery charger. You just plug in the micro USB cord to an AC adapter into a wall socket and go. My favorite that I use all day every day is the iStick 50W with an Aspire Triton 2 for a tank. For someone who is new, I'd suggest the Kanger Aerotank 2 for ease of use and inexpensive replacement coils.

For $18.95, I'd just buy the whole thing and be done. I've paid more for a single drip tip before, this way you get the whole thing. The AIO does look interesting as a whole and I've been hard pressed not to pick one up myself.

Comp is correct. CE4s are disposable tanks. You use them until they don't work any more then you throw them away and start with a new one.

Is what's in the link what you're using now? https://www..com/starter-kit-triton/

Can you tell us what kind of batteries you're talking about?

If you want more throat hit, just increase the PG level of your juice. PG is the flavor carrier as well as throat hit. VG is the ingredient that makes the vapor smooooother. Protanks are a good workhorse. If or when you're ready to branch out, another tank I'd recommend would be the Aspire Triton 2. The performance is amazing. While the coils are a little more expensive, there is also a separate RBA that you can buy so you can build your own coils as well. Just a thought.

^^^^ What Bebop and Compenstine said. The very first thing in your shopping cart, however, should be a dedicated ohm meter. Safety always comes first.

My Vapor Store has the iStick 50W at $34.95, it's not TC although I didn't know iStick put out a 50W TC version. http://www.myvaporstore.com/Eleaf-iSmoka-iStick-50W-4400mAh-Simple-Pack-p/elis-is50wbk.htm This is why many members here go on and on about having back ups and back ups of your back ups. You can never have too many.

Aw, you're so sweet, Jeff. Thanks for the pony!

Earthling said everything I wanted to... just more eloquently than what was coming out of my fingers this morning. We like to have fun here on the forum, even admins. That said, if you're here to stop smoking, we're here to help. If you only want to start vaping so you can do tricks with the vapor, there are probably better forums on the net that are better for things of that nature than here. "...for getting very good milky smoke to do tricks can anyone help me? ... With tricks i mean stuff like O's and jellyfisch etc.. " Yes, there are many members on this forum who can help you. Will they? Maybe, maybe not. Most of us on this forum did not start vaping to "do tricks", most of us started vaping so we could get off cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco and/or snuff. To quote a wise, old sage, "Tricks are for kids." Also, because you're new to vaping, you do not get "milky smoke" from e-cigarettes, it's called "vapor." If you're getting any kind of "smoke", there's something burning and you'll want to check into that.

Count me in for a pony!

In his last PM he said, "Also I opened it up and my eliquid was actually hot I don't know if my coil was on or not but the eliquid wa pretty hot. I haven't seen one light on the ecig at all yet besides on the charger." I rather like my laptop so I don't use it to charge my e-cigs, it's too risky that something will go wrong. Since he's having issues with charging his eGo, that's even more reason to get an AC adapter and use that instead.
-
Here's his picture: I see that you're using the USB to your laptop. Do you have an AC adapter? I would not charge a battery on my computer overnight while I'm sleeping without some form of protection for the battery just in case something happens.

CE4s have been around for a number of years. Anyone who has been vaping for at least three to four years would have had one. Can you take a picture and post it here for us to see what battery you have? That might give us some more information with which to help you.

Flying with vape gear
Tam replied to darkersideofwild's topic in Vaping Legislation & Regulation News
If you vape inside an airport, you can always go into a stall in the bathroom. Hold the vapor in for around ten seconds. When you exhale, there's usually very little to no vapor at all. Stealth vaping.- 4 replies

koopor plus 200w suddenly doesn't have voltage
Tam replied to prince.sorry's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
Did you try changing the coil? You don't mention what type of coil (the material your coil is made of) that you're using. A little more information might help us to help you. -
I'm kind of confused here. What do you mean when you say, "tricks" with vapor?

in search of a sub ohm tank for me
Tam replied to twilightbloom's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Earthling, I just tried something on the Triton V2. When the coil started not working as well as it used to (and this is where I'd usually just change the coil for a new one), I took out the coil, dried the connection end off, took a Q-tip to the inside of the bottom part of the tank where the coil screwed in, and let it sit for a few minutes. That seemed to do the trick and I wound up getting nearly two weeks on that coil. Don't know if it was a success or just a really good coil but time will tell. -
Aw, you're sweet to do the research to find something that will work for her. The cuboid does look interesting. I think you're going to need more batteries.
