  1. Um... no. Just no. No gloves, no sign of sanitary room to mix... I would have a problem with this too, Bebop.
  2. If you can buy your juice in bulk, that might save you a little money as well. When I buy my ADV, I get it in 125 ml bottles at a time.
  3. We're here to give you a bad time... er... to give you a helping hand should you ever need it. Get back on it when you're ready. Hope you're ready pretty soon!
  4. If you want to thin out the juice you already have, you can add a drop or two of straight PG into your tank and shake well. If you don't have any PG on hand, you can also use a few drops of distilled (at the very least filtered) water right into your tank. Just so you know, this will dilute the flavor just a bit but if you don't use too much, you shouldn't notice.
  5. The Eleaf iStick 40W TC is a good mod although I personally prefer the iStick 50W (no temperature control). The iStick 50W is just a good, simple wattage/voltage device with batteries enclosed so you just charge, no need to take batteries out or change them. It's also 4400 mAh so I only need to charge it every 4th day or so even with chain vaping. If you want a tank that's pretty simple but is a workhorse, I would suggest going simple. One of the best out there is a Kanger Aerotank. You can get all kinds of different types of coils, I would go with a simple kanthal single coil at 1.8 ohms of resistance. Depending on the juice you use (PG/VG ratio), you'll only need to use around 4W - 9W. Always start low, vape, if it doesn't do it for you, turn up a little, vape. Repeat until you get a slightly harsh vape or a slight burnt taste. Back it down a bit and that should be your sweet spot for that juice/coil combination. There are so many different choices out there right now that it's easy to feel overwhelmed, especially to someone new-ish to vaping. Keep asking questions. There are many here who are more than glad to help.
  6. Good to see you again, Comp, and congratulations on the new job! That cement truck looks like it could be a lot of fun to drive around.
  7. I'm going to say... three. One for you, one for your best friend, and one for a spare in case it turns out someone else might want some of your juice.
  8. I think I can buy 10 ml glass bottles with drippers for under a dollar. Why would I want to spend $2? Also, you posted this same thing in two other boards. Stop spamming the forum with the same post.
  9. Looks like the back ups of my back ups will be taking a trip via USPS to my next vacation get away location ahead of me. Or maybe I'll set up shop at an airport to rent e-cig hardware for an hour at a time. Might be a good way to make some money.
  10. What PG/VG ratio is your juice? Like Comp said, if your juice has too high VG content, it could be that your wick couldn't absorb it fast enough and the coil fried the wick. I'd go with the "change to new coil, dump old juice out, clean out tank, fill with new juice, wait 10 minutes or more for wick to soak through, then vape" route myself.
  11. Sorry, I have no clue about the tank you're talking about BUT! From your description of how she vapes, it sounds like she likes a tighter draw. I'm also a mouth to lung vaper with a preference for a tighter draw than what the subtank mini offers. My tank of choice is the Aspire Triton 2, it's perfect for the 30 PG/70 VG juices I use. The coil I use on it is the 1.8 ohm. Even chain vaping, I never get a dry hit. 101 Vapes has them on sale for $19.99 right now. I get the coils at Mt. Baker Vaper. Might be a thought?

With a little experience you'll be able to tell when you need to add more juice. You'll get a harsher vape, that's a clear indicator when you're new to it. I usually got 5 - 7 hits before needing to add but it depends on how long of a draw you take. Saturate wick well but don't drown it. When the quality of vapor goes down or you get a harsh hit, that's when to add more. You won't burn the coil unless you dry burn too long, the more likely thing is that you'll burn the wick, which would be very unpleasant but you'll just need to rewick the coil then. Hope that helps.
  13. When Bebop said to press it together he's telling you to push the base (bottom part of the tank that you're trying to get off) toward the top of the tank and then twist.
  14. Personally, I'd vape (not smoke) it two to three times. If it's not doing it for you, bump it up around 0.3 - 0.5W then vape again. Once you get that harsh vape/dry hit/harsh throat hit, then back it down a few watts and that should be the sweet spot for that coil and juice combination. Sorry, I can give you general information but I'm not familiar with your particular tank/mod.
  15. Pre-juice is what we call "priming" a coil. To prime, all you have to do is to put some e-liquid onto the wick of your coil before putting it into your tank. Then, once you have it in your tank full of juice, let it sit for a few minutes (I prefer to let it sit for at least 5 minutes or more). This will let the wick get thoroughly soaked in the liquid so you don't get a dry hit and burn up your coil. As for how much power to use, start low -- I would go with 10W and vape. If it's not doing it for you, bump it up a little, vape. Repeat in small increments until you get the vape that works for you. There is also a breaking in period on some coils so once you get the vape you want, vape on it a little until it gets broken in properly. One more thing -- on your tank -- if you're using a high VG liquid, make sure to open up the airflow. If it's not betting enough air, you run the risk of getting dry hits. Good luck and welcome to Vapor Talk.
  16. What Bebop said is spot on. You'll need to try several different things until you hit on the right combination of battery, tank, flavor of e-liquid, nic level (depending on the tank and coil resistence), and a few other things. Vaping is so subjective that what's right for one person will not work for another, only you will be able to tell what's right for you. One piece of advice we give to everyone -- and nearly everyone ignores until it happens to them -- is to get back ups. Get back ups for your back ups and back ups for those. Seriously, you'll never have too many back ups. I once went through four batteries, a couple of tanks and several new coils while I was out and about. Thankfully I had one rig that worked until I got home and that was just for a two hour trip. It's a great piece of mind if you don't need them and a means to stay off cigarettes or chew when you do.
  17. So... what did you get? Inquiring minds wanna know. Welcome to Vapor Talk. Feel free to ask lots of questions, we have a great bunch of knowledgeable vapers here.
  18. I moved this thread to Supplier Reviews instead of General Discussion. Why not PM our own Compenstine ( @Compenstine ) ? He is the owner of Fadora Vapor and makes a delicious cinnamon e-liquid. If you're looking for something that tastes like cinnamon candy, this won't be it. Fadora's cinnamon tastes like bakery cinnamon, the real spice. You can even get it with little bits of cinnamon stick inside the bottle. He will work with you until you get the juice exactly the way you want it.
  19. According to specs your iJust comes with a 0.3 ohm coil and it's an unregulated mod so you have no control over how much power it puts out. That leaves your "oil" that you put into the tank. Is it really oil that you got or is it e-liquid? Where did you purchase this? If you actually got e-liquid at a store that sells vaping gear, then what is the nicotine level and what is the PG/VG ratio of both liquids? These things will make a difference.
  20. Don't forget to get replacement coils!
  21. https://www.vaportalkstore.com/shop/kanger-aerotank-v2/ Kanger Aerotank V2 from our own Vapor Talk store.
  22. The less resistance like the 0.5 ohm coil, the hotter the vape. More resistance like 1.8 ohm gives you a cooler vape. In my opinion, the 1.8 ohm is more versatile so you can go higher or lower in wattage/voltage depending on what you like. If the 0.5 ohm coil is too hot at 5W or 3.1V, you're pretty much out of luck because the mod won't go any lower. The 1.8 ohm coil is a good one (fairly middle of the road with good performance) to start with until you figure out what's right for you.
  23. Yes, using the 0.5 ohm coils is fine, the iStick 30W is rated for 0.4 ohm for the lowest resistance so the 0.2 ohm coil won't work on it though.
