  1. Thanks. The wonderful folks at Vapor Talk are the ones who made quitting cigarettes so easy and fun!
  2. Our own Vapor Talk store is one. Members will recommend many others that they've used and liked. Take a look at the Review Vendor/Supplier thread to see what others like.
  3. What's the resistance of your coil and what mod/battery are you using it on?
  4. Use only quality hardware. Learn as much about it and juice (eliquid) that you can. Use common sense like never leaving a charging battery unattended. Only use the intended charger with your battery/mod. Read instructions and follow them. Ask lots of questions and really listen to the answers given. Vaping doesn't have to be dangerous, it can be very rewarding (getting off cigarette addiction) and a fun, new hobby if done safely.
  5. You came to the right place, Laverne. Read past threads for new vapers, those have lots of great information. Ask lots of questions and engage in conversation. We have many wonderfully knowledgeable members all willing to help you.
  6. Do you still have your eGo and Pro Tank? If so, why not give them a try again to see how much of your problem is allergies and cold? When you smoke cigarettes, it really takes a toll on your taste buds' ability to work. It also might be that your taste buds need time to heal from that.
  7. And if you're vaping one flavor for too long and can't taste it any more, change to a different flavor that's totally different from the first one to change it up a bit. Helps to reset the taste buds for vaping.
  8. Thanks, B! I'm very happy to have been able to help you with your journey and then watch as you help others.May you see many more years analog free.
  9. Hi Francis. If we knew a little more information, we would be better equipped to help you find a good set up. Please answer the following questions: How many cigarettes (brand and strength) do you currently smoke per day? How mechanically inclined are you? How much do you plan to spend to begin vaping? <-- This will give us an idea of what to recommend. One thing we do recommend very strongly is to buy more than one so you have back ups available in case something doesn't work right, you can use something when the other thing needs to be charged, you lose something and need a replacement right away, etc. You really don't want to start your journey into vaping without back ups -- and back ups for your back ups. Seriously.
  10. After smoking for 38 years, vaping was the only thing that ever worked for me for any length of time. Who knew quitting analogs could be so easy? I sure didn't, especially after all the different things I tried and all the failures. Keep it up, read lots and learn much -- vaping can help you like it's helped all of us on this forum.
  11. Sorry, I don't have an MVP so I'm not sure, but with all other mods, that usually means that the mod is fully charged when lights go out. I'd still try changing out the coil to see if that's the problem. Coils that come with tanks and/or kits, are usually not the best in quality.
  12. Have you tried changing the coil in your tank? Might be you got a bad one...
  13. Have you tried using it? If the charging light doesn't come on, that's usually an indication that the battery doesn't require charging.
  14. What did you mean when you said you "assembled" it? It should've come fully assembled and ready to go with a minimum of a 2/3 or more battery charge.
  15. your "favorite rig" for now until the next new shiny thing comes out.
  16. Most of us on this forum used vaping to quit smoking. Just ask lots of questions, do your homework to make sure you use the equipment safely, go through older threads and read (especially the New Vapers, ask Questions thread), and welcome to Vapor Talk.
  17. Got a CoolFire IV TC100 today from 101Vapes. So far I'm really liking this in wattage mode, haven't tried the TC yet, I'm waiting until I need to change coils in my Triton. The iStick TC is not very impressive for me but I think I may be looking at getting a few more CoolFire IV TC100 in future.
  18. I'm very curious to hear what it's like with different flavors but I think a warm vape would be a deal breaker for me. My preference is a very cool vape... still, I'd love to hear your impressions on other flavors.
  19. Tam

    Sup yall?

    S'up y'all to you, too.
  20. I think I'm in love with Senator Ron Johnson right now.
  21. Adding to what Earthling said, we see a lot of new members come here asking the questions they couldn't get answered at their local vape shops and getting answers that contradict what they were initially told -- erroneously by the staff at their local B&M.
  22. The wording was vague at best for me as I read it anyway. The following gave a little more information: (My thoughts/opinions in bold) Legislative fix: Cole/Bishop amendment was approved by the House Appropriations Committee last month. If signed into law, it would, among other things, move the February 15, 2007 grandfather date, allowing some or all ecigarettes and vapor products currently on the market to serve as "predicates" for products introduced after the Deeming Rule's effective date. (If Cole/Bishop is approved, we will see what gets "grandfathered" in as far as old equipment is concerned -- that's the stuff we're currently using I think, but there's not anything more detailed than that right now.) ▪ It remains to be seen whether this provision will stay in the Agriculture Appropriations Bill, let alone whether the House and Senate will even vote on a standalone Agriculture Appropriations Bill during this Congress. (Passing of Cole/Bishop is still up in the air.) ▪ SFATA is also working to get support for the Cole/Bishop amendment to increase the chance of passage through Congress. In addition to the Cole/Bishop language, SFATA is currently working with other interested organizations and legislative leaders to develop a more comprehensive regulatory framework that will better serve the industry into the future. (SFATA is working to get extra support for Cole/Bishop so it stands a better chance to get through the political boloney and to get the politicians to change the wording into something more understandable that will be better for the industry going forward.) There. How was that, @cany ? Bottom line? We don't know anything yet as far as what will be approved or when.
  23. Since it's a sub-ohm coil, how warm does the vapor get?
  24. Ever since they came out, I've been rather curious. How are you liking the AIO so far?
