  1. We all have our favorites and vaping is extremely subjective so take this with a grain of salt and you'll have to find what works best for you. For several years I spent a lot of money on custom atomizers (the old school direct drip method), just for the flavor. Then, the Aspire Triton came out and it equaled the quality (the version 2) of the flavor. I also get lots of vapor using a 35 PG/65 VG e-liquid on a 1.8 ohm coil. If you want more vapor (clouds), I'd go with the sub-ohm coils. Factory made sub-ohm coils can be bought for the Triton as well as the Subtank and Subtank mini that Rich prefers.
  2. Got mine in the mail yesterday but I've been cursed by the computer/internet Gods these past few days. The main tower gave me bios errors, the router wouldn't recognize my laptop, and my tablet? Fuggedaboutit. Anyway, just got everything fixed so now I can sit back and begin to sample the Black Label goodies.
  3. Even with brand new, never been used batteries I've had to lift the center pin to make a solid connection with the charger. Let us know how you fare.
  4. The type of tank would depend on what vaping style you have. Some tanks are better for mouth to lung. Others are better for direct to lung. Do you care more for flavor or lots of vapor instead?
  5. Hmmm. I would've thought some ideas would be posted here. As for me, I can't think of anything at the moment.
  6. Immediately following a root canal, I vaped and was fine. While I'm no health professional, in my experience, you do not want to be sucking on anything following a tooth extraction. When they take a tooth out, a clot forms in the socket where the tooth used to be. You do not want to be sucking on anything (vaping, smoking, a straw in a drink, etc.) because that could cause the clot to dislodge and come out. This is called a dry socket, and it's the worst pain you'll ever feel. It will make the pain of an abscess feel like nothing at all. You don't want to be doing that. Why not wait to meet with the dentist and see what she says first before coming to any conclusions?
  7. Got the confirmation email, Chris. Thanks.

    Welcome to Vapor Talk.
  9. Can't wait to try them. The descriptions alone had me drooling in anticipation.
  10. Can't vape what I don't have. Where's mine?
  11. If you want to produce large clouds, you also need to think of what your e-liquid contains. High or maximum VG is what you'll want, but make sure that your tank and coil will handle a thicker liquid or you'll wind up with harsh dry hits.
  12. As always, I have Chocolate, Coconut and Almond -- aka FLaN (Feels Like a Nut) from EC Blends. Other flavors are a rarity for me anymore. The Highbrow coffee cake sounds interesting, though. Might need to give that a try. Thanks for the rec, Bebop!
  13. Why would you want to cover up that nice outer design? It looks like the outer shell is perforated to allow airflow, is that right? If so, you may need to keep it unwrapped. In any case, I couldn't find any wraps for it either.
  14. But we love Bebop just the way he is. What he failed to add is that he's very intelligent, patient, and kind. And a little bit of a flavor snob.
  15. They are fine to use, Edna. The coils you build yourself are most often better because you control the build, the wicking, etc. It's like the difference between a homemade meal from scratch versus something like a TV dinner. Some TV dinners are nearly gourmet quality while others are clearly... not, but none are quite as good as something that's made at home with fresh ingredients and a time tested recipe. That's all.
  16. Chris, I'm so happy to have you back at the VT store and on the forum again.
  17. If it were me, I'd toss them and buy a new battery. It's not worth taking the chance of becoming the newest story on the news about a battery malfunction.
  18. If you need something this month, then you don't order from this company. If you can wait up to or beyond six months... make the order.
  19. https://www.vapeshop.com/eleaf-istick-50w-battery/ $29.99 each. I've ordered from this vendor several times with much success.
  20. Good for you! Especially since you're just starting out, being extra careful is never a bad thing. Depending on the mod, the resistance reading may or may not be as accurate as a dedicated ohm meter. Some mods are better than others, but I prefer to not depend on them for my safety.
  21. Thanks, guys. Boy, you two are very quick today!
  22. What's LV? My brain isn't kicking in this morning and can't figure out the initials.
  23. No need to panic... yet. We still have some time, but getting back ups is never a bad thing.
