  1. No, I didn't know the gender of the OP so I used a generic pronoun is all. Does it really matter?
  2. You asked how I knew the OP was a "he." When I went to grade school, I was taught that when you didn't know the specific gender identity of a person of which you are speaking, then you use the generic "he" as the pronoun to indicate that person. "He" can be a female, but without that specific knowledge at hand at that particular time, you just use "he" to indicate that person. These days, there are many different pronouns for people depending on their gender identity. Some people identify as male so you go with "he". Others who were born male but identify as female, you use the pronoun "she". There are many different identifiers out there now, one of which is "ze" to indicate a gender fluid or gender neutral pronoun that's neither "he" or "she."
  3. It's common to use the pronoun "he" when you lack the details for a more specific pronoun since it's a singular being. If this were a case of it being more than one, then I'd use "they." Not so common, but I guess I could use "ze", but if you're not up on all the different variations of pronouns based on gender identity, it would be more confusing. I had to reread the post and title a couple of times before I got it. Don't feel bad.
  4. What resistance coil do you have in your melo right now? What battery/mod/power source are you using? These things will also give us the information we need to help you better. Edna suggested a drip tip with a screen in it. She sent me one to try and it's become my favorite. The screen helps to block the splatter of the eliquid very well.
  5. And you have aroused my curiosity with this review... Will you update in a few days to let us know how it goes?
  6. Nautilus are good, as are Triton 2, Kanger Aerotanks are still great workhorses...
  7. I truly didn't know air freshener could do that. Wonder when the FDA will get around to regulating that to oblivion and back?
  8. @Christopher In this post you quoted Cany's post. Why is it not linking properly? See below where it says, "rel="external">
  9. Well, at 10W and 1.8 ohm battery I only have to charge it once every 4 - 5 days (sometimes 6) so I would think, even at 30W, you'll get a day or three before needing to recharge.
  10. If she doesn't want the smell to get out of her room like it will when the door opens, she might want to minimize the smell, not add to it and advertise that she's trying to hide something else.
  11. Ugh. That just adds extra smells into the mix. If you're going to use anything, use an air neutralizer like Ozium that doesn't have much of a scent.
  12. Well, you know... it was you who got me to buy an Eleaf iPower 80W TC (5000 mAh). The more I use it, the more I'm wishing all of my back up iStick 50W (4400 mAh) were the iPowers instead. Don't get me wrong, I love them both, I just prefer the iPower a bit more these days. They've both worked well for me and the charge lasts for days of even heavy chain vaping. As for tanks, the ones you've been using should be fine with a little care. Put a foam can cozy into your cup holder to put the mod into when you're not using it (don't leave it unattended though), so it doesn't get bumped around too much. Congrats on the new job!
  13. I'm with Edna on this one. Being a landlord, I'd tell my renter... "My way or the highway." If you absolutely have to vape in the middle of the night, open your window, put the fan in a position so it blows OUT the window (blowing any vapor outside instead of the room), and vape that way. The smell from your juice will linger in your room if you vape with the window closed.
  14. According to a different news source, she had the battery in "a separate pocket" of the purse, no plastic case or anything else to keep it from touching something metal that would short it out. A prime candidate for the Darwin awards. Plastic cases are so cheap to buy...
  15. Just ordered two 30 ml bottles of Five Pawns' Queenside from the VT store. Couldn't beat the price of $15 per bottle versus the usual $27 each. The VT store only had the 0 nic but that's fine, I have almost a full bottle of 12 mg so I can cut it with the 0 to get closer to the 3 mg I vape these days. Also ordered a 30 ml bottle of Marina Vape's Blueberry Milkshake Man from Madvapes. Never heard of anything like a blueberry milkshake with whipped cream on top but it sounded really good so...
  16. I've got an IPV mini and... I'm pretty sure the other one is an IPV mini version 2. @Earthling789, do you remember what you talked me into getting? They're both very good workhorses but I prefer mods with built in batteries, less hassle for me. In any case, those are fairly old (for vape gear). You might want to get something that has a few more bells and whistles (and more power) to drive the newer tanks and coils.
  17. If you'll give us a little more information on what you have and what you want, I'm sure we have members who know how to get you there.
  18. Whenever I've sent anything to Canada and it got stuck in customs -- it still wasn't held this long. @Christopher, can you chime in, please?
  19. Both the iStick 50W and the iPower 80W TC have very clicky buttons. You have to consciously push on the buttons to make it work, just a random twitch won't do it. While it's not a hard button, it's also not one that's very soft, you definitely know when you push it. Grandma's safe with it.
  20. Well, that would certainly take care of all the clutter...
  21. You'll probably get more recommendations than you'll know what to do with, it all depends on what works best for you. The Eleaf iPower 80W TC mod can be as complicated or as simple as you want it to be. It has a built in 5000 mAh battery so I only have to charge it once every 4 - 6 days depending on how heavily I'm vaping. https://www.vaportalk.com/us/product/eleaf-ipower-80w-tc-mod-silver/ The Vapor Talk store has them for $36 each and no shipping costs. If it were my grandmother, I'd set it at wattage mode, get the watts set up for the tank, coil resistance and juice she'll be using and then set the lock on it so it won't change the settings. After that, you only have the power button and the five clicks on/off function working. I love the iPower and use it a lot. My main go to mod before this was the Eleaf iStick 50W (4400 mAh), but some people have had issues with this one so it's not as trouble-free as the iPower. I still love my Vision Spinner 1600 mAh for on the go, it's a good workhorse! As for tanks... I'll let everyone else chime in.
