@Christopher said that he was pushing some updates and fixed through so that might've jarred something else loose...

Liquid stinging/burning mouth
Tam replied to VaperGamer's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
If you're going to use that high of wattage, I would suggest using a different coil material than ceramic. I seem to recall something about how ceramic coils shouldn't be used with high power/heat.- 14 replies

Welcome to Vapor Talk. What have you been using? Knowing that would give us a good idea on where you want to go next. We each have our own favorites so I'm sure you'll be getting a lot of recommendations, it just depends on what you're looking for. What's right for me might not be what works for you.

Can you give a brand name for your tc60w? That would help us to help you.

Take a look at your post above. See the link on the word "Fuchai"? Click on that and it will take you to the Vapor Talk store. The mods you're looking for look to be around $60 or so and free shipping.

Boy... mech mods... that's nostalgic, lol. Haven't touched mine in a couple years. I loved the Magneto the best of all of mine, just behind the K100 that I won at my first vape meet. Got a Caravella but never used it. Sorry, I'm not much help.

Are you only vaping one flavor? If you are, that could also be the problem. You need to change your flavors every so often so you can taste them. If you don't, then you won't be able to taste it after awhile. Change the flavor to something drastically different like going from a bakery flavor to a fruit flavor, then when you go back, you can taste the other again.

Yep. Quite proud of my "vaping age" as a matter of fact.

Back in the day... a loooong time ago (in vaping years), there were things called "cartomizers" that had these on the ends. These cartomizers were little metal cylinders with a coil on the bottom, usually a small piece of metal as a "bridge" over the top of that, and filler material wrapped around it to hold the eliquid. People would sometimes fill the little cap you're interested in with eliquid then put the cartomizer into it upside down to draw up the liquid. They were also frequently called "condoms." Some of the older tanks also came with these on the drip tips (if I remember correctly, the original Kanger Pro Tank had these). Wow. Good times.

I use acrylic make up organizers. The lip stick holder part holds tanks and pen-style batteries very well and I never have to worry that the acrylic will short anything out. There are so many different styles for different applications... and the ones with drawers are prefect to hold all kinds of drip tips.

Just went to their site and 101Vape does have all kinds of coils in their inventory, including Kanger.

Some flavorings within an eliquid have an ethyl alcohol base, which could trigger the positive in an alcohol test... What flavor were you vaping?
-
Yeah, I was scratching my head too at the mention of VapeNW and 101 Vape. I've ordered plenty of authentic (I checked) Kanger products from both places.

Getting a strange error message when posting "too soon."
Tam replied to Tam's topic in Website Feedback & Bug Reporting
Sometimes yes, mostly... no, but I still get this message. -
To add to what @Earthling789 said, your question is kind of like asking how many breaths do you take in an hour? It all depends on what you're doing. If you're running or doing something that involves heavy exertion, then you'll take more breaths. If you're just sitting still, then less breaths. If you're chain vaping, you'll use that 30 ml of eliquid in very little time depending on what resistance coil you're using, how much power you're using to heat that coil, etc. It's all relative to what equipment you use and how you use it.

What do these coils work with?
Tam replied to Patricia's topic in Tanks, Clearomizers & Drop in Coils
http://www.myvaporstore.com/Horizon-Tech-Arctic-Sub-Ohm-Tank-p/hz-art.htm The Horizon Arctic tank should be what your coils fit. Does this look like something you have? -
For me, I'd prefer to have it turned off.
-
That would be a very handy feature.
-
Yep, the Eleaf iStick 50W can go down to 0.2 ohm resistance.

The higher the VG content, the thicker the juice. The higher the PG content, the thinner it is. For the gurgling, try turning the tank upside down and blowing gently into the mouth piece without powering it on. That will "blow" the juice back into the tank and out of the center piece, it works for me in various tanks and most especially in my regular subtank when I use it.
-
Oh, snap! I was going to suggest the same thing! Also, clean out the center pin area of both the battery/vape pen as well as on your CE4's bottom where they connect with a Q-tip and some vodka. If you don't have vodka, just use plain water -- don't use rubbing alcohol. Check the connection of your charger and make sure that's clean. If it's not making a good connection, it can't charge the battery.

Yet another battery question from yours truly
Tam replied to Foofightervapegirl's topic in Batteries and Chargers
Whenever I get new batteries, I always put them on the charger to top them off before using. Why do you think you got "jipped"?
