  1. Holy cow! You would start a 0.3 ohm coil at 35W??? Not judging, just kind of trying to get my head around that high a wattage with that coil. I'm a wimp with a 1.8 ohm coil and 9.7W, lol.
  2. Ah... I see. So you get her new tanks to try but you get them when she decides they're not for her. Clever boy! Just kidding, but the idea has merit, yes?
  3. I use single coils in my Aerotank with no problems. @Earthling789 is our resident expert on Aerotanks so you might want to wait for him to chime in.
  4. Set your watts/volts down and vape. If it's not what you like, then turn it up a little. Vape. Repeat until you get a slight burnt flavor and then turn it down just a bit. That should be the sweet spot for that juice/coil combination. This would work best with a brand new coil after it's had a few minutes to prime the wick.
  5. A $2.00 increase on a pack of cigarettes??? Holy cow. I wonder how much that will drive the black market on those... or send them to vaping instead.
  6. If it's single coils, you can use them in ProTank 1, 2 and three as well as their mini counterparts. They'll also fit into Evod tanks but I don't know which ones exactly. They will work in Kanger Aerotanks as well as the Aspire Davide/Davide mini (they're nearly identical to the ProTanks). We're all guilty of inserting our own subjective opinions on vaping gear. The hard part about recommending something to someone is that what works for one may not work for another, it's so very subjective just like juice flavors.
  7. Since there were duplicate posts I merged them into one. The forum's been doing wonky things of this sort lately (Christopher is looking into fixing it).
  8. If your current tank takes the same coil as a Kanger Protank, those will also work in a Kanger Aerotank V2. That's a good workhorse, not expensive, and good performer. Might try that? @Earthling789 uses these a lot.
  9. Congrats on getting off the analogs, and welcome to Vapor Talk.
  10. May 10, 2012 was when I first picked up an eGo-T 650 with a CE4 tank. Totally got off cigarettes five days later. Can't believe it's been this long without smoking and it's been four and a half years. Didn't want to wind up on oxygen and inhalers or worse but nothing else worked. Vaping has changed my life! And look at all the wonderful friends I've made on this forum... the support we give each other here is amazing.
  11. Why not just put on a smaller bore drip tip? That's what I do since I don't care for the large bore style myself. The top part that comes off so you can fill the tank? Just put a different drip tip on that, it's basically a 510 connection. Some drip tips need a little larger gasket to make them fit snug but...
  12. Just from reading your posts, I can tell you what you didn't like about the Triton (both the version 1 and 2). The airflow would be too restrictive for you. For the most part, the Triton tanks are better for mouth to lung vapers rather than direct lung. That's why I love them so much but it probably won't work as well for you. @Earthling789, @Adversarious1, @jasonculp Any of these three guys might have some good recommendations for your style of vaping. They're also very, very good at helping you shop...
  13. I still use my KPT 3 mini on the first version of the Vision Spinner. There's still an old eGo-T 650 around here in my stash that still works just fine when I get really nostalgic. Pair that with a Kanger T-2 with the short wick and it still rocks.
  14. The problems are increasing daily, too. Driving home at night I have to be even more vigilant than ever before. The cars weaving on the roads could be from driving while intoxicated (alcohol), or the driver is distracted (ie. texting while driving), or the driver is stoned, or it could be that the driver just plain doesn't know how to drive well. Anyway, since the time change and we now drive home in the dark, I've seen a minimum of three near misses each night. Crime rate is rising, the budget for our law enforcement officers has not. If you call the police with a non-emergency like a burglary, you could wait a minimum of six hours up to six days before you hear or see anyone. Don't get me wrong, I'm in no way blaming the over-burdened and overworked/under appreciated law enforcement officers. They're faced with a losing proposition because everyone wants better service but always vote down the taxes that would go toward funding it. /rant.
  15. Use water rather than rubbing alcohol. Rubbing alcohol leaves a residue that's hard to get out.
  16. As long as the "alcohol" is something like Vodka or Everclear, it should be fine. I wouldn't, however, use rubbing alcohol.
  17. As Bebop said, the button may be dirty or have juice dried inside it. Try dipping a Q-tip into some rubbing alcohol (not so much that it's dripping, just enough to wet the tip), and give the button and the area around it a good cleaning. I would also clean the 510 connection between the mod and the tank. That's a very popular place for extra juice to accumulate.
  18. http://www.smoktech.com/hotnews/products/h-priv-109-firmware-upgrade-guide No driver to work with a Mac iOS system at this time.
  19. You said you set it to 42 watts. What resistance is your coil? That seems a little high to me. If you haven't fried your coil, you should do as Bebop suggested and start at a lower wattage. Vape. If it's not doing it for you, turn it up a LITTLE bit then vape again. Repeat until you get a slight burnt taste then turn it down a notch. That should be the sweet spot for the particular juice/coil combination.
  20. The "low res" on your screen says that the atomizer's resistance level went lower than what your mod can accommodate (use safely), which is why it stopped working. The coil inside will start at a certain level but will go down as you use it so this is normal. Since I'm not familiar with the Aspire Evo 75, have a look at this video. Phil Busardo's vids are pretty long but he explains everything very thoroughly. Hopefully, someone else will also come along and will be able to give you more help.
