One of these days I'll get back to the San Diego area, it's been too long since I've been there. Used to live in Imperial Beach once upon a time. Miss the warm weather though not the Santa Ana winds. Colorado in the summer is amazing...

I know, but I just can't seem to set it up so that I don't wind up with warm to hot vapor and/or harsh throat hit. I'm doing something wrong but I don't have the patience to play around with it, lol. Come to Colorado and set me straight.

If you're going to produce more vapor, you will go through more eliquid. There's no way around that. Me, personally, I prefer not to sub-ohm because I don't care for the warmer vapor. My coil resistance of choice is a 1.8 ohm coil in an Aspire Triton 2. The eliquid I use is 40 PG/60 VG and makes enough clouds to fog up a small home office when I'm chain vaping. That said, when I create that much vapor, it stands to reason that I'm going through much more juice than "normal."

What's sad is that all too often all the media reports is that an e-cig exploded. They don't tell you what brand, model, what tank... any of the pertinent details that could really explain how the e-cig exploded. Most often it's a loose battery in a pocket full of change and car keys that shorted out.

You know you've come a long way in a short period of time when you take a piece of equipment that isn't working up to par and you find a way to make it work. That's the mark of someone who is truly hard headed committed to letting go of the analogs and moving fully to vaping.

There are many tanks that would work well for this mod. What are you looking for? Do you vape mouth to lung or direct to lung? How much VG do you use in your juice? What mg of nic? Do you want to sub-ohm or does that not matter to you? That would make a big difference in the type of tank we'd recommend.

@Edna gives some sound advice on juices and letting them steep / age some. I've had some juices that were so awful when I first got them turn into OMG! I have to have more once I let it sit a week or more. EC Blend's Tiger's Blood is one of those. The longer I let it sit, the more the cream flavor came out. Four weeks later, I couldn't get enough of it so I started buying a bottle every so often so that I would have a four (or more) week old juice all the time.

Looks like you've got all the important info above. I was going to suggest drinking lots of water and not to worry about it as that's what's referred to as "Vaper's tongue." Change flavors for a bit and the flavor of the first one that you lost will come back.

@Edna turned me on to some drip tips that have screens inside to keep the spitting from becoming problematic. Might try one for these tanks to make it usable?

You do know that there are wraps available for many mods so you can change the look? I use them all the time, one of the very few times I'll buy something from eBay. Right now I'm waiting on some wraps for my iPower 80W because I don't like the brown tinge.

Sorry to hear things didn't work out for you. If and when you're ready to try again, we'll be here. I would have set you up with something much more simple than what that guy did though, it's not really that hard if you have the right stuff. -
I get the two flavors separately and then mix 90% blueberry to 10% peppermint (or less as the peppermint is very strong) right in the tank itself. I get these from EC Blends.

I hope you also included a dedicate ohm meter with your order or you already have something comparable? Never put your trust solely on your mod to tell you what the resistance is in your build. It's safer to use a dedicated meter for that. Safety first!
