  1. If I might make a suggestion when you decide to carry more products? Add a couple of eGO compatible drip shields. When you do I'll be over to get them.
  2. Too late. I'm already well and truly hooked on dripping. There's just no comparison in flavor and TH. About the only time I use my clearomizers now is when I'm driving. The only bad thing about dripping is that I find I tend to chain vape and then get dizzy from too much nicotine. Instead of just stopping for a while I switch to lower or 0 nic and keep going. Between you and Kitsune I think you've created a dripping monster!
  3. Hey, no apologies necessary. After all this time and all the stuff I've bought for e-cigs, this was my first real goof. I figure I'm way ahead of the game. Went over and bought the two different kinds of shield that are exclusively for eGO batteries. I really appreciate all your advice so far!
  4. Thanks, Blu. I'll go over there now. *rolls eyes at self* I did have a good laugh though. Typical noob mistake. :P
  5. You're more help than you realized. Argh! No. Seems I bought a drip shield for a 901. No wonder it doesn't fit right. Okay, I need to go look for eGo specific drip shields then. Know anyone who needs 901 drip shields? I have one in silver and one in purple: 901 Drip Shield Drip shields for 901 atomizers. Also compatible with a 510 atomizer, with the use of a 510 extender. http://www.liberty-flights.com/product.asp?id=124 Care to recommend a good place to get drip shields? Um... preferably ones that will fit an eGo battery.
  6. Just got two drip shields in the mail today. I put one on the eGO 650 pass through. Is it supposed to sit on top of the threads so the threads show? That's a far down as it goes so I was wondering. Somehow I thought it was supposed to screw on? The drip tips I have seem to go inside the top of the drip shield so they sit fairly low. Is that supposed to happen or should it sit more flush on the top like a tip does on the bare attomizer? So many questions come with new toys...
  7. I can't wait to try them out! Now that I've finally gotten a handle on dripping, I don't like the clearomizers quite as well as before. You can just call me "Tam" it's a lot easier to type...
  8. Thanks, Rixter. Took your rec and ordered some. Hope they work as well for me as they did you!
  9. Following the directions on some of the juices I shake those daily while they're steeping. Otherwise... no. I do have a bottle of EC blend eggnog that tastes like a soured dishrag no matter how much I shake. :/
  10. 5 Boge 510 LR +-2.0 ohm atomizers from Litevape 5 Empiremods Bridge Free LR510 1.8ohm Figured if I'm going to drip I might as well jump right in.
  11. Confusing me isn't too difficult, mse12. LOL! With everyone's replies and information I now know that cartomizers, atomizers, and tanks are not interchangeable. All the references to 306, 510, 901... those were the most confusing.
  12. Wow, Brian, I never expected such a detailed reply. Thank you very much for so much information! It makes a lot more sense to me now. Have you thought about putting an edited version of this on your store site? It would help people like me to make a decision on what to buy. Hopefully someday, you'll branch out to include more stuff in your store. I'll be waiting to pick them up there.
  13. Okay, I just ordered 5 of these. Can't wait to try them out. Thanks for the rec!
  14. Okay, now that I'm officially addicted to dripping (thank you all for your GREAT advice in an earlier thread!), I have some more questions where I need your expertise. At my local brick and mortar store I bought the essentials for dripping. They were a 5 pack of stainless steel 1.8 ohm atomizers. They're being used on eGO 650 pass throughs and an eGO C 1000 mAh twist. I am down to my last two attys and am looking to get moar backups before I go through them too. My question is... what do I get? 1.) They should be 510 compatible, right? 2.) SR offers a cooler vape while a LR is warmer/hotter? 3.) What are these single and double coils all about? Can they be used with the eGO set up? 4.) Type A or Type B? (I'm using Type B right now -- I think) 4.a.) If I go with Type A, do I need more equipment, like something to make it compatible with my eGO batts? 5.) And I always thought a bridge was something you walked or drove over to get to the other side. What's it mean with e-cigs and attys? And do I want an atty with or without a bridge? 6.) If you would recommend something, would you please post a link to the page where I can go buy it? Um... I think that's all the questions I have right now. Thanks for any advice and answers in advance.
  15. Yes, I'm doing just that! Trying LOTS of stuff. And doing what Kitsune said. Although, you really should pay attention to her name: Kitsune. Japanese fox spirit who is high on mischievous high jinxs. She has lots of great advice but will innocently lure you into more than you originally planned. Asking questions will get you great advice from very experienced vapers here. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I think you'll enjoy your time at VT. I certainly am. And now I'm off to ask some more questions about dripping related stuff. Kitsune got me started on that, too! Oh, and I forgot to say, "Welcome to VT!"
  16. Oh for crying out lou... 1300 mAh? Holy cow! I'm trying really hard not to buy anymore unnecessary e-cig stuff. You. Are. NOT. Helping!
  17. Liking it a LOT! If you haven't already ordered one, I would highly recommend gettng it from Brian at The Veteran Vapor store. The prices are comparable to what you'll find everywhere but it's the customer service you can't buy with money. Brian is simply amazing! You won't have to worry about the level of customer service you'll get at VV.
  18. The first time I bought the Starbuckets Mocha it was the smallest size they had because I didn't want to waste my money if I didn't like it. The second time I ordered the 30 ml because it was soooo good. If you can let it steep a bit the flavor gets even better! Their Kona Cream is amazing too.
  19. This is so interesting! To some PG is harsh and irritates their throat, to others it's VG that's harsh. I think I'm going to be playing with the ratios to see what works best for me. Thanks for your input!
  20. Drip tips are just another thing you want to collect that makes vaping fun! Actually, they're little mouth pieces that you put on the top of atomizers. You can drip directly into them for convenience when direct dripping. If you don' t have one and your atomizer gets hot you can burn your lips. Um... no, it's not because I tried it or anything. I'm still learning all about this direct dripping. Like Kitsune said on a different thread, there's a bit of a learning curve to it, but if you stick with it, the pay off is the best flavor EVAR! I'm finding that I prefer direct dripping to all the other clearomizers I've been using and love. Now, if you'll excuse me I need to go see a man about a hor... drip shield. *laughs*
  21. What kinds of bad reactions have some people experienced? *is curious*
  22. I'm curious about the "harsh" statement, mcquinn. Do you mean it hurts your throat? If I remember correctly, you vape at 0 nic, is that right?
  23. Wow. Everyone seems to have their own preferred blends! Thanks to all who replied, it's given me lots to think about. I've gone the 100% VG and steps the other way to 30 VG/70 PG. Still not sure where my preferred spot is but it's fun trying to find out.
  24. I've heard people talking about the different ratios of PG/VG and I'm now thoroughly confused. What ratio do you prefer and why?
  25. I second jeffb's recommendation for the clearomizer. These work great, they're easy to clean and very user-friendly.
