  1. Just got a reply from Jennifer at Provapes: Yes, all of our juice is made with vegetable glycerine. The makers of our juice are the ones that actually provide the wording on their product, so I apologize for any confusion. Interesting. Now I know that Provapes doesn't make the juice they sell. Good to know. I think I prefer buying from those who make their own.
  2. Just out of curiosity I went to Provape's site and took a look. The premium e-liquids just say "USP Grade Gylcerine" with no explanation as to what kind of glycerine it is. The regular e-liquids state clearly that it's vegetable glycerine. So I checked their FAQ and found nothing. Sent an email to them to find out why the discrepancy in wording. Will let you know what they say.
  3. I recently ordered milk chocolate from Volcano Vapers but asked before making the purchase what ratio they used since it wasn't listed anywhere. They said most of their e-liquids (depends on which one), are made at 50/50 PG/VG. You might also try EC Blends. I've been ordering more and more from them. They have excellent selection, even better customer service, and nearly all the juices I've tried from them has been delicious!
  4. What Jeff said. Also, VG produces more vapor and PG is better at carrying flavors.
  5. Ha! Looks like you fixed it, Chris. Muchas gracias!
  6. Chris? I'm not liking this new auto-formatting here. Ugh. Can I put in my own html please? :P
  7. *raises hand* Yep, me too. I chain vape in the evenings for an hour or two while winding down at night.
  8. I, too, visited a kiosk at my local mall just to see what the difference was between my newly acquired eGo battery and T2 against what they were selling. I also wanted to compare the prices on their e-liquids. The salesman was rather intrigued with my set up and forgot all about trying to sell me his products. Their e-juice was running at $25 per 10 ml bottle. Needless to say I haven't been back...
  9. In the very beginning I'd agree with you. Now, I mostly vape 6 mg or less and only a few puffs here and there when I'm at work. Less than I used to go out for cigarette breaks, actually. I only chain vape in the early to late mid-evenings.
  10. Welcome, Millerboy. What Jeff said. You can't go wrong with The Veteran Vaper and getting back up batteries there. You might want to look into a eGo Twist or a Vision Spinner if you're a bit of a tech geek. As for juice, what tastes good for one person could taste nasty to another so you're going to have to do some experimenting. Like Jeff said, Sweet-Vapes.com is good. I'm buying most of my e-liquids these days from EC Blend. They custom make your order and don't have a batch just waiting around so it's all fresh. Being fresh, you might have to let it steep (sit for a while) before you get the best flavor. The two vendors we've recommended sell 5 ml bottles so you can sample small batches of juice to figure out what you like before buying bigger 10/15/30/50 ml bottles. Ask questions, the friendly folks here will give you an answer.
  11. Your body is going through a lot of changes and will probably continue to do so for some time until it adjusts to vaping versus smoking analogs. That said, have you changed your diet since you started vaping? Asparagus, broccoli, lots of red meat... those are some foods that produce less than preferable results.
  12. And thoughts and prayers to all who have to endure the aftermath of such a tragedy.
  13. Would you be jealous if he did?
  14. Mark, on the Ambrosia Maple one, for the lowest level for the drip tips, do you think you could devise something like pins to go through the middle of a drip tip instead of making holes for them to sit in? I could see using the pins for drip tips as well as drip shields so spacing would be important. I'd like to talk to you about price. And all my batteries are eGo style. And I wouldn't be able to pick one up until January when the holidays are over with. Does this sound do-able?
  15. Good information to know, Dan, and I'm sorry to hear you've been having such a bad time with your new acquisition. I'm torn between the Vamo and the other one that Jeff recommended. If I do decide on the Vamo, I'll steer clear of this vendor.
  16. Even kiosk space in any mall costs an arm and a leg, hence the outrages prices to cover their overhead. There's a brick and mortar store where I got my first set up and bottles of juice. Although I don't care too much for his other flavors I still get his mojito. For a 10 ml bottle he charges $11.00, which isn't bad. It would probably be double that if he were in the mall instead of his own shop downtown.
  17. If you used it right after you rinsed it out, then it'll take some time before you get more vapor. Your wick got wet with water from the rinsing and needs to work that out. This is why, when I rinse, I also let it dry over night. Keep at it, you should get past this soon.
  18. Thanks for the explanation, DarthVaper.
  19. It would be laughing with you.
  20. Minimum order... TEN sets??? And they want you to give them your email address for the price. I think I'll pass. Even I don't need ten sets of a certain battery. Lol. Just curious though. What is the appeal of a box style unit?
  21. I don't know, Jeff. I liked the thought of the Vamo having the giggles, it made the thing seem less intimidating to me.
  22. In my limited experience the creamy flavors are by far the smoothest. You didn't mention which flavors she tried so it's hard to tell if that was the culprit or not. I just got a whole mess of new flavors as well as 50 ml bottles of my current favorite: EC Blend's Dulce de Leche. Both are at 6 mg nic, 60 PG/40 VG. One bottle is extra flavor, which I'd bought in a small 5 ml bottle to try previously, and the other is at double extra flavor. I figured the double extra flavor, if I didn't care to vape it alone, it would be great to mix with other flavors without having to use as much. The straight fruit flavors are... sharper in taste, IMO, and can be harsher for me. The bakery blends like Nilla cookie, vanilla cupcake, strawberry shortcake, pineapple upside down cake, etc. are easier on my throat and taste delicious! Just a thought.
  23. Uma, you are *not* helping! I never realized they had things like wraps for e-cigs, although I don't know why I'm surprised. Hmmmm. Something to think about. Thanks for the link! I think.
  24. Hmmm, wonder if that's why their URL is "smoke51"? Like their selling e-cigs and supplies are the "smoke screen" for the scam. I'm sorry that you got taken in. Hopefully, with your warning, others won't have that same experience.
  25. Great attitude, Romen. I wish you well. If you have any questions, you've come to the right place. Welcome.
