  1. Others with more experience than I possess will most likely chime in with advice about your other questions. I just wanted to ask...in your e-liquid, do you know what the ratio of PG/VG it is? The higher VG (vegetable glycerin) that is in the e-liquid, the more vapor it will produce. Also, I suspect the 3.0 ohm atomizer might hinder the vapor production but I'm not too sure about that. If it is the higher ohm atty, you might want to go to a lower resistance like a 2.0 or 1.5 ohm. On my variable voltage eGo batteries I find myself swimming in vapor at a lower voltage (3.3 or 3.7) if I'm vaping a 50 PG/50 VG ratio. Welcome to Vapor Talk!
  2. I second the rec for Empire Mods and the universal drip tip. Not only does this funny looking over-long drip tip keep you from getting juice in your mouth, it also helps to cool the vapor a bit. I don't care for warm vapor, especially when I'm chain vaping using the direct drip method.

    Ec Blend

My first introduction to EC Blend's site was from Rixter. He raved about the chocolate malt flavor from this vendor. Even though I have an allergy to chocolate (yes, I know. It's a terrible thing), I decided to give it a try to see if I could vape it. My first order was for a 15 ml bottle of chocolate malt and the same of vanilla malt (6 mg nic, 50 PG/50 VG, extra flavor). They arrived very quickly and I tried the vanilla right away. It was very good, but after letting it steep for a week or so (as recommended on the flier sent with the liquids), it was even better! The chocolate malt was tried very carefully as I didn't know if it would produce a reaction. What a wonderful surprise to find I could vape this!!! Since then I've been ordering all kinds of different flavors...in all nearly three dozen different flavors. Nearly all of them in the 5 ml bottles to see what I liked. There have been only two flavors that didn't taste good to me but all flavors, no matter who the vendor, is very subjective. When I find a flavor I like I order bigger bottles. Pineapple and Dragon's Tear were ordered in 30 ml bottles. Did I mention that EC Blends ships their e-liquids packed inside TWO sealed plastic bags? Good thing, too, because these two separate orders did indeed leak. Not much but just enough to smear the labels. So I emailed them to ask for replacement labels. I keep empty glass bottles with drippers around so it was easy to transfer the liquid. I just wanted the original labels to put on them for reference. They replied that they were aware of the problem with the bottles, changed the types of lids they were using and were sending replacements. Cool. Not only new labels but new bottles to boot! Imagine my surprise when the replacement bottles came filled with e-juice! Now that's great customer service. Their website is full of really good, useful information. They believe in transparency in their business model so you know what they use. I really like that you can also request custom blends at no extra charge. There's a lot of different options you can choose in every flavor. Sometimes it can be a little overwhelming, but on the whole, it's a very nice touch. Their prices are comparable to other vendors, more often on the low side. The choices of flavors is amazing! They even have roast beef, pizza, butter, pepper, Worchestershire sauce and a variety of other...unusual...flavors. I haven't been brave enough to try those yet. Maybe someday. All in all, I can't recommend their site enough. There's oodles of information about nearly everything e-liquid related on their site and their customer service is just amazing. If you decide to try them out, I'd love to hear your experiences.
  4. Rixter recommended Boge brand atomizers to me for direct dripping and I've been stuck on them ever since. They consistently just...work. Some of the other atties I've tried are more a hit or miss, for me anyway.
  5. Sorry, I haven't tried them yet. Although I've tried many different vendors I always seem to come back to Sweet-Vapes.com or EC Blends. More the EC Blends in the past few months. Out of easily over two dozen different flavors from EC Blends I think there's only two that I didn't care for. Their customer service is about the best there is that I've experienced from e-liquid vendors to date.
  6. That these little things don't hold much liquid is one of the perks. I never would've thought I'd feel this way, it's always been more about how much juice a clearomizer will hold so I don't have to keep refilling but...
  7. Was your box wrapped up like a mummy?
  8. Welcome to VT, Deckyon! Just by reading the posts here I've learned so much, I'm sure you'll do the same.
  9. That's all a part of my sooper sekrit "awesome" powers. Unfortunately, they only work on Christmas day. All the other days of the year...I'm totally clueless.
  10. Christopher, Thank you for all the hard work and long hours you spend making Vapor Talk a wonderful place for us all! This morning when I checked VT I noticed the snowflakes falling and thought them lovely. Just now I noticed how the snowflakes change direction depending on where your pointer is on the screen. That's absolutely brilliant! And more than a little amusing for me today. Just wanted to give a "thank you" shout for all the little things we may not notice but makes our experience here better and definitely more fun!
  11. Congrats on two years! That's a huge accomplishment that I hope to meet someday.
  12. See? And this is why I am even more awesome than Jeff...

  14. Aw, Jeff. Your video made me cry! That was just beautiful...
  15. Glad to hear it's finally working fine for you, Dan. Judging from what I've seen of their "customer service" on this thread (Rob comes in to semi-address the issue and then disappears and doesn't answer or address any other concerns), I think I'll be steering clear of Smoketek's site and take my business...anywhere else. Since you haven't posted anything about further contact from them, it seems safe to assume you haven't heard anything from Rob either.
  16. Congrats on switching to e-cigarettes, Mark. And welcome!
  17. Merry Christmas! May the new year bring you and your family nothing but joy and happiness.
  18. Sorry to hear none of that worked. Maybe the nano doesn't work with that type of battery is the only other thing I can think of, but I don't see why it wouldn't.
  19. Might try taking the nano off your battery, hold a tissue on the end (but hold it very loosely to let air flow through), then blow gently into the mouthpiece. You might have some primer inside the center piece that just needs to be blown out. Before taking a drag did you let it sit for a bit? It's good to do that so the liquid can get into the little holes in the bottom. I'm not sure if there's a wick inside, but if there is, it will need a little time to soak the liquid in. If that doesn't work, it might be that your battery isn't making a connection to your nano. Take the nano off, using a very small screw driver, GENTLY push up on the center piece. The youtube vid in the link below shows you how to do this. Make sure you're very gentle with it so you don't pop the center piece entirely out. If it does come out you can put it back in but it's better if you don't have to do that. ETA: Oops. Helps if I add the link. Sorry! Hope that helps!
  20. Unless, of course, I crack another porcelain crown on ranch flavored corn nuts.
  21. The great thing about places like EC Blends and Sweet-Vapes is that they sell 5 ml bottles. They're great for sampling juices to see what you like. The strawberry shortcake from EC Blends was so good I just ordered a larger bottle of it today...as well as about six other new-to-me flavors. Going middle of the road is a good start. You'll figure out what you like better as you go along. The more you read on this forum the more you'll learn. Sometimes it becomes a bit much, but that's why you ask questions. I'm still learning every day. The people here make it easier.
  22. EC Blend's website: https://www.ecblendflavors.com/ Sweet-Vapes.com http://www.sweet-vapes.com/ Sorry, I'm no help with the Dekang liquid as I've never tried it. If I'm not mistaken a Provari is a type of battery. What are you using on it? My personal preference is anything from 50 PG/VG, 60 PG/40 VG and/or 70 PG/30 VG -- it all depends on the flavor. The vanilla malt, chocolate malt and dulce de leche I prefer at 50/50. The strawberry malt is at 80 PG/20 VG. The nectarine is at 60 PG/40 VG. These taste the best when I'm direct dripping. When I use them in a Kangor T2, Vision Nano or Vision Stardust I prefer a higher PG ratio. With too high a VG ratio in the e-liquid, it tends to be too thick and gums things up easily. Now these are just my opinions and experiences. Others will have their own tales to tell.
  23. You are so cruel to your dentist! lol. Here's to hoping you never have to feel what it's like to have a dry socket. Mine went into overdrive trying to get his patients to "use up their yearly allowance" on their insurance to "get all the little things done" before the end of the year. Needless to say, we declined to take advantage of his offer. Thankfully, our teeth are about as fixed as they need to be. *knocks on wood*
  24. I've tried this brand. Basically, I think it's a knock off of the Kangor T3. After using it on and off for about a month or so...I'm not impressed. It works okay but mutes the flavor of the e-liquids more than I would prefer. It's not terrible, doesn't leak, does gurgle and makes some strange noises when I take a draw off of it. The most important thing, however, is if you like it. If it works for you, then that's what matters.
  25. Congrats on making the decision to vape instead of staying with analogs, and welcome to Vapor Talk. You've come to the right place to ask questions. You're right, there are a LOT of different options. Some better than others. We all have our personal favorites. My recommendation for you would be to go with an eGo twist or Vision Spinner. Both are very similar and work with a variety of different atomizers/cartomizers and tanks. Pair the twist or spinner with a Kangor T2, Kangor T3 or Vision Vivi nova (I prefer the mini) and you're off to a good start. The next question would be...which flavor of e-liquid would you like to vape?
